Just moaning really. I'm fed up of being pregnant now!

I had to wake DP up at 2am to help me get out of bed so I could go to the toilet. My thighs and joints feel bruised and like my muscles are splitting.. midwife says its because my body has done this before so it isn't as stretchy. Well I don't like it!

And if I wake up one more time with heartburn and acid reflux so bad I think I'm choking.. grr Angry

This baby is so worth it, but I'm so tired and sore, and the thought of going overdue is making me miserable!

Anyone else want a moan?!

Everything is ok , no sign of labour :-(

I cannot do another 5 weeks of this. My head hurts from funny up-high sleeping positions and broken nights, I'm waking up every hour with heartburn even after taking gaviscon. I feel like I'm going to throw up because of it, in which case I will also piss myself at the same time. I could honestly cry right now at the thought of more days like this, never mind weeks. Get out baby!

Yougotfastcar- poor you , sounds like you had an awful night. It's so hard . Can you get any advice from your midwife ? I had a terrible night too. I have had a cough for a few weeks but last night the sinus pain started too , my ear was killing me , not what I need with the leg pain. Zero sleep again so another long day. 39 weeks today , hope these babies come soon. Steaming my face at 2am is not what I needed. Sad

theonewiththenoisychild · 26/02/2015 09:21

im 36 weeks on sunday and i have had enough now too. acid reflux and heartburn and constant all over itching. headaches to im shattered and walking really hurts even just the school run. i get back ache all night that keeps me awake and when i finally drop off to sleep i wake up needing the loo Sad yep pretty miserable

shelley1977 · 26/02/2015 13:00

I have been quite lucky with heartburn this time, had it early on with bad morning sickness. Its the needing to pee sometimes every few min and the crampy pains in thighs meaning I have to move inbetween getting up to pee! Walking is a nightmare between rib/hip pain and a lot of low down pressure. Not much longer now if I go by earlier date like previous pregnancies. Hope everyone gets relief soon x

yougotafastcar · 26/02/2015 16:02

Sorry you had a bad night too sycamore. I have a quite old fashioned midwife who basically says "yeah that's just pregnancy I'm afraid." I guess there's not much you can take for sinus pain either really?

Have to say, although I'm not glad you are all suffering, I am glad I'm not alone! I expected to be told to suck it up!

cosmicglittergirl · 26/02/2015 18:04

Everyone is suffering, my midwife is old school too, she asked how I was and when I said I could hardly walk with hip pain and hadn't slept for weeks she was all breezy, 'You'll be fine!' At least we re nearly all there. I'm hopeful by this time tomorrow the induction will be over and baby will be out.
Sleep well everyone.

Sycamore76 · 26/02/2015 18:55

My midwife was exactly the same! It's mother natures way of preparing you for the birth crap! Well Mother Nature is very cruel and I already have a three year old thanks very much !!!
Today was hard, very noisy play group and building train sets on the floor , so much pain when standing up again!!!
Cosmic girl , good luck ! How exciting. Update us :-) Flowers

Sycamore76 · 26/02/2015 18:56

Sorry I meant prep for the sleepless nights

yougotafastcar · 26/02/2015 21:56

Mother nature is a bitch! Wink

I'm having pains! But no idea what early labour feels like after being induced last time. I'm getting tightening pains across the top of my bump and round to my back, but my hicks usually feel more like period pains down low and are usually one offs but I've been having these pains for about half hour now.

Good luck for tomorrow cosmic, I hope you'll be having newborn cuddles this time tomorrow!

my c section is now booked for 24th march at 39+2. 26 sleeps to go Smile

Sycamore76 · 27/02/2015 06:40

Oh that sounds promising you got a fast car. !how are you feeling this morning ?

Must be good to get a date in the one? Not long now ....

yougotafastcar · 27/02/2015 07:06

Tightenings died off over night & were replaced by a weird shakey feeling, I've been thinking that I'm either going to throw up or need the toilet! Been twice this morning now but still feel awful with crampy feelings now. Thinking this isn't it but hoping its not a bug! DS been up since 5 30am and thought DP might take him downstairs to give me a break before work but no Sad

Good news you have a date set theone!

OP posts:
Sycamore76 · 27/02/2015 07:54

I really hope it's not a bug !!
I hope it's your body's way of cleaning out before labour starts as I have heard that can happen . I haven't had any more signs. Slept a bit better as legs better and cold has come out of my sinuses feel better .
530am is an early start :-( hope you get a long nap later ...

Sycamore76 · 27/02/2015 07:55

And you feel better Flowers

yougotafastcar · 27/02/2015 08:40

I've just thrown up so thinking it is a bug. Mother nature really is a bitch, as if I wasn't tired enough already & now DS will probably get it after too! Last thing I need at 38 weeks.

Glad you are feeling a bit better & got more sleep x

OP posts:
Sycamore76 · 27/02/2015 09:28

Oh no . My hospital notes say episodes of vomiting can be a sign of labour ? Can you get to a gp? Anyone to look after little one ? I do feel for you Flowers

yougotafastcar · 27/02/2015 09:35

DP has his phone on just incase, DS called him off my phone while I was throwing up so he panicked Grin (from emergency contacts he clicked his dads photo)

If I really have to I'll call DP but hoping it wont come to that unless I'm actually in labour. No one else to have him as DM busy at work too. The joys of having more then one child hey Smile

How is everyone else feeling?

Hope your DS doesn't wear you out too much today sycamore

Hope you feel better soon fast car and it's not a bug - last thing you want!
I have it a sweep booked for tomorrow!!! Has anyone here had one before and did it work for you? I'm trying not to get my hopes up...

Sycamore76 · 27/02/2015 11:18

Luckily ds is at nursery today ( I count my blessings )
Fast car - how are you feeling ?
Emily - I had quite a negative experience with my sweep due to abnormal bleeding but that is very rare , I think they can be very successful x

theonewiththenoisychild · 27/02/2015 11:30

emily i had a sweep with my previous pregnancy as didnt want another c section bit it didnt work. i went 2 weeks over and had to have a section

Emilyrose1290 · 27/02/2015 16:07
