Just moaning really. I'm fed up of being pregnant now!

I had to wake DP up at 2am to help me get out of bed so I could go to the toilet. My thighs and joints feel bruised and like my muscles are splitting.. midwife says its because my body has done this before so it isn't as stretchy. Well I don't like it!

And if I wake up one more time with heartburn and acid reflux so bad I think I'm choking.. grr Angry

This baby is so worth it, but I'm so tired and sore, and the thought of going overdue is making me miserable!

Anyone else want a moan?!

Maternity clothes really aren't for many people over 6/7 months! I've been living in a pair of Seraphine leggings and H and M mat jogging bottoms! My trendy Topshop stuff hasn't fit for ages.

yougotafastcar · 22/02/2015 10:47

Even my maternity jeans keep falling down, pointless! Plus been trying to find a swimming costume to fit.. its a joke! My boobs don't match my belly so everything is gaping at the boobs Sad

Had another rubbish night sleep and am feeling very teary after just realising this rubbish sleep is how it'll be for another two years!

Ok I know pregnancy is a blessing & I'm lucky to be having a baby that I've wanted but I've had it now. Months 1-4 = me being a crazy hormonal bitch. Months 5-6, started to feel normal again & actually quite good which was destroyed on entry into the final trimester. Now Leg cramps, PAINFUL heart burn, & small bladder = v little sleep. Plus a lovely chest infection I picked up. I've only been up 2 hours today & I'm back in bed again exhausted. How am I supposed to do things like make food or wash my hair?? Feeling v pathetic right now! & I only hear (ALL the time) the sleep thing gets worse when the baby gets here

Let's keep out fingers crossed these babies sleep well from the start...! I felt pleased the other day because my 17 month old sleeps 7-7 (not being doing that long) then remembered I having a baby and have got to start again!
Barbie that sounds tough, how stressful. You've done well to hang on this long. Hope tonight is ok at the hospital. Flowers

Ny baby is back to back mostly too! Can't remember the last time I could sit on a chair or sofa properly, its always my ball or leaning over things with pillows.

Sycamore76 · 22/02/2015 14:25

Aww babies that must be really hard for you . Hope tonight goes well and you manage to get some sleep Flowers

cosmicglittergirl · 23/02/2015 08:55

Hope it went ok Babies.

yougotafastcar · 23/02/2015 09:42

Ashton236 the sleep doesn't get worse but sometimes its no better! My 2 year old slept better as a newborn then now! And at least you have a baby to cuddle and people are way more sympathetic when the baby is here.

Babies I hope last night went ok, and you managed to sleep Flowers

Can I join?
I am 38+3 and I feel like my pubic bone is bruised!! I can't get out of chairs without help, and sleep is impossible! Though I don't have any DCs so am lucky I can nap in the day if ican - I don't know how you all cope!!
Wishing everyone luck with labours and sections, fingers crossed you can get those babies to turn Smile
I keep getting period pains, BHs and cramps and getting excited thinking baby is on his way, only for it to stop again it is so frustrating!!!

Chillyegg · 23/02/2015 16:40

I'm 33+1 and so worn down with not sleeping and tossing and turning! The 4 toilet trips in a night. I have 6 days and 6 weeks to go...that's if I'm on time wich is unlikely Sad I just want the baby hear so I can cuddle and kiss it, and get up like a normal person.

cosmicglittergirl · 23/02/2015 17:01

What would you prefer baby?
I went in today for a scan as baby is large and I have gest diabetes and was offered a c section or induction for this Friday! I said induction, but then read a load of horror stories about it so I'm feeling apprehensive.

Everyone is having 'fun' with their sleep at the moment. I'm looking forward to rolling over!

yougotafastcar · 23/02/2015 17:35

Wow cosmicglittergirl I am unreasonably jealous! I think you should avoid the googling! Induction wasn't so bad for me & I would do it again, but of course like every labour, every induction is different too. I was checked every 6 hours but a friend in a different hospital was checked every 24! So its a hard decision.

Glad you are home Babiecakes11, hopefully baby behaves until the 11th!

Emilyrose1290 my pubic bone feels bruised too! I'm sure DP thinks I'm exaggerating when I can't get off the sofa Hmm

Hi Chillyegg, I feel the same about the baby not being on time. Its horrible knowing she could still be 5 weeks instead of 3.

cosmicglittergirl · 23/02/2015 17:46

No, no more googling. I just need to remember I ll have a baby by this time next week and at least I'll be able to sort out child care!

shelley1977 · 23/02/2015 18:55

I can't take much more of the not sleeping, I can't eat either. manage a few mouthfuls if I'm lucky before getting really bad stomach pains and feeling sick. I'm stressed as well due to partners ex being an absolute bitch and making life difficult for us and his girls Sad

Sycamore76 · 23/02/2015 18:55

It isn't any fun at the end is it ? My due date is next Thursday . I am so exhausted at the moment , my son has been at nursery all day but the bedtime routine wears me out! I have three full days with him now , oh what fun :-)
I do know lots of friends who have had positive experiences re induction. I was at Chelsea and Westminster with my first and monitored constantly.

Emily rose - poor you , that sounds painful!

Baby cake - glad it all went well and you are home !!

Hope you all get a better nights sleep . Xx

I panicked a bit at the thought of a c section as I've never had any kind of an operation, but my dr friend said an elective c section is very safe.
I'm glad people feel positive about induction, I've been uncharacteristically worried all afternoon.

Sycamore76 · 24/02/2015 10:11

Argh ! Another very rough night , hardly slept and toddler woke at 6am ready to play. How do I get through the day ? Already over my caffeine limit !!

notsureaboutmaternityleave · 24/02/2015 10:21

I am 35wks and I look at 37weekers like I'd give anything just to be there :)

On the other hand, haven't even started reading hypnobirthing and still a lot more things to do at work...

Kinda glad to read here, that it's normal that it's so hard to move. I was kicking myself for being so unfit, now with restless leg syndrome and varicose veins making themselves known to me during the nights.

yougotafastcar · 24/02/2015 10:34

Bad night here too. Most nights in pregnancy I have nightmares someone is trying to kill me, but last night they were after DP. Considering bribing the midwife tomorrow to induce me WinkGrin

DS up early too, I'm a bad mum as he is watching lots of cbeebies BlushSad but we can't even get anywhere that isn't a bus ride away or up massive hills & I don't think I could cope!

Sycamore76 · 24/02/2015 10:38

You got fast car - I have weird dreams too, it's crazy ! Must be the hormones . I don't drive so it's difficult for me to get anywhere too so ds also having lots of cbeebies , also doing lots of puzzles, which I am finding difficult !!! Luckily he is quite tired after nursery yesterday so doesn't want to go anywhere. Think I will have to get through the day with chocolate ! Hoping she doesn't come today as way to tired xx

Sycamore76 · 24/02/2015 10:40

Ps I can't cope with any kind of journey also. Roll on 7pm!!! Does you dc nap? Mine doesn't Confused
