happygojo · 18/02/2015 21:14

maverick I am so sorry. Please look after yourself xxx

I have been having pains in the left side (where baby is) kind of shooting pains, they don't last very long. I am
Not sure whether it is a digestive issue or a ligament stretching issue or whether there's something wrong. I am 15+2. My bf thinks I should call the doctors today. If I could visualise it, it would be like my uterus is crushing my bowel/intestines.... Any advice?

broodylicious · 18/02/2015 21:15

Oh maverick, I'm so sorry for your double loss. You can't be prepared for the devastation but please take comfort that we are all here for you whenever and however you need us xxxx

broodylicious · 18/02/2015 21:17

Just wanted to share this story with you ladies in case it's not been in your local press. Scarlet fever isn't dangerous if you're pg but I thought it was worth being aware of in case you've already got little ones or are around littlies often.

Maverick I was just popping on to echo Longest, you are welcome to head over to the RMC thread. People are at all stages of their RMC journey and very supportive. So sorry you're going through this again.

I am going to call the drs as I think as I can't really describe the pain accurately over phone or text And MW didnt answer my last text. I suspect I may just need a prescription for better laxatives (currently lactulose as I have had chronic constipation for 4 years, which pregnancy doesn't help)

blankfornames · 19/02/2015 07:58

Sorry to hear you are still in a lot of pain Happy. Definitely best to get these things checked out.
Hope you feel better soon.

I cannot believe that I have finally reached my Due Date today! Feeling relieved, thankful and extremely grateful to this thread for keeping me sane and reassuring my many fears throughout the past 40 weeks. For those of you still in early days..it definitely does get easier and you'll be happy to hear the 24 hr knicker watch does settle down once you start to feel that wriggly Bean moving inside!
I'll keep you posted but thanks and sticky (wriggly) Beans to you all!

ReverseTheTrend · 19/02/2015 08:26

Could I tentatively join?

Had a mc in Dec, have now got a new BFP, but not sure on dates as haven't had AF since.

Terrified that it will happen again, or that the BFP are false positives

happygojo · 19/02/2015 09:31

Hiya Reverse the trend I am guessing it would be very unlikely to be a false positive now if your MC was in december. Did you get a BFN after your MC?

Anyway congratulations and welcome to the thread! we are all terrified! Smile

ReverseTheTrend · 19/02/2015 09:58

thanks Happy, yes had my first BFN on new years, and the lines have been getting stronger over last week, just hope this is a sticky one!

CommanderShepard · 19/02/2015 10:37

maverick I am so very sorry. I really hope that everything from here is as smooth as it can be. Please stay with us as long as you need to; we're all here for you Flowers

blankfornames congratulations on reaching your due date!

Hello reverse - welcome to the thread! I didn't have a period between miscarriage and conception either. Sounds positive so far, and fingers crossed for a lovely sticky baby and a thoroughly boring, normal pregnancy (in the nicest possible way)

Treaclepie19 · 19/02/2015 11:18

I'm having the same happy and had to have lactulose. Doesn't seem to be working yet.

Hi and welcome reverse :)

Congrats blank :)
