Thanks guys - phoned the EPU and they have booked me in to see the consultant and have a scan on Friday. Of course now I'm starting to worry as apart from feeling very tired last week, sore boobs etc symptoms seem to haveeased off a bit....which is what happened before my last mc. Trying to be positive but it's not easy!

Hi everyone, I am really struggling with the wait between 13-16 weeks.... I am so scared of something going wrong, up to 12 weeks I didn't really 'connect' with the pregnancy but now I have seen the little bean I feel so much more invested. The cervix issue is also worrying me, I see a consultant at 17 weeks but what if that is too late? Will this apprehension ever end!?

Treaclepie19 · 16/02/2015 22:05

I like that sunbathing, the odds are in our favour :)

I wish I had some advice for you happy but I don't know much about it so will send you a hug instead x

Anyone got any cures for wind pain?

OP posts:
happygojo · 16/02/2015 22:12

Thanks treacle I have some advice for you though re: trapped wind (an evil curse. Peppermint tea helps, as does moving around a bit, bouncing on an exercise ball helps. Getting on your hands and knees and putting your head on the floor and bum in the air. Getting your oh to gently rub your tummy. Basically you need to move the air to somewhere it can escape so basically jiggling about a bit. I feel your pain, I find it terrifying sometimes how much it hurts! Sometimes a warm bath helps too

Treaclepie19 · 16/02/2015 22:48

Thank you :)
I've been drinking peppermint tea, I'll have a go at moving around and rubbing my tummy. It's getting so painful :(

OP posts:
longestlurkerever · 16/02/2015 23:09

baby she is beautiful!

Boozle80 · 16/02/2015 23:13

A warm bath helps too - it really blooming hurts doesn't it?!

Treaclepie19 · 16/02/2015 23:25

It does :(
I have ibs anyway so used to it now and then but it's getting to be everyday.

Hi boozle, i have an appointment on wed for a scan, unfortunately the brown stuff has become blood now so its not looking too good, just have to get through today, if it is a m/c I wonder if anyone has any suggestions as to what I should be asking in prep for a future pregnancy? Eg hormone levels etc

Boozle80 · 17/02/2015 08:33

Maverick thats really hard. Especially having to wait another day to find out what's going on. I didn't have any hormone tests etc but after number three I was put on progesterone, prednisolone (an anti-immunity steroid) and heparin. All precauctionry as I got a BFP before they could do any tests. One of them seems to have worked though as I'm currently 20 weeks. Bless you, fingers crossed it's nothing. I had bledding all through the first 12 weeks of this one and it was horrendous. Absoloutely horrendous, I had a small blood pool in the bottom of my uterus which was leaking out. Completely harmless but terrifying for anyone with a history. Hopefully it's somrhing like that. If it is they may give you progrsterone to help support the pregnancy. Sending you hugs xx

Littlelady33 · 17/02/2015 11:06

Maverick I'm so sorry to hear that but as Boozle says there can be lots of causes of bleeding so I hope you get answers tomorrow.

Hugs to you, maverick Flowers

Total scanxiety here. Got a research study one tomorrow (9+3) but I just wiped and pale brown jelly was on the paper... just when I thought I'd stopped spotting. Some backache too but I've had that for a while. Waaah :(

blankfornames · 17/02/2015 17:38

Ladies, I bled at 6 weeks and then had pale pink/brown spotting for a further 4 weeks. Im now due in 2 days so try and stay positive.

Thinking of you

thesmallbear · 17/02/2015 19:41

I hope things work out for you maverick Flowers

maverick79 · 17/02/2015 19:58

broodylicious · 17/02/2015 20:03

Hugs maverickThanks got everything crossed for you xx

commander, hope your scan tomorrow reveals a happy bubba. You're not having an easy time of things, are you hun? Sending positive vibes and hugs your way xxThanksThanks

Not much to report here, 18+1. Getting bored with wiffle waffle from the AN group (not including the gorgeous ladies who are also members of this group). And tbh it's making me feel quite insecure and paranoid about my own pregnancy. Grrr. I hate that mc has probably done this to me!
