Hi reverse, I'm on my first pregnancy since mc too and am getting all sorts of niggles that remind me of those mmc cramps and pains too.

I try to tell myself that what I'm feeling physically and emotionally is all pretty normal for what I've been through. Right now I'm pregnant and FX I'll stay that way, but if I mc, there's absolutely nothing I can do about it, and I'll wor about it when it happens.

In the meantime I'm using pregnancy bladder as an excuse to do hawklike knicker watching Confused

DoctorDonnaNoble · 25/02/2015 08:21

I had no signs with my MMC at all. It might sound bad but I've managed to block out that part of December 2013 and so can't remember what date it was. Trying not to worry about scan on the 10th. Saw a really good heart beat at 8 + 4 so going with the 'today, I am pregnant' mantra.

Looking after my friends baby today.
Having stomach cramps though so I'm really not in the best frame of mind. Worrying that I need to just sit still but I'm running round after a baby and pushing the pushchair and things.

Hugs to all those with dates coming up - it's so hard :(

Hey treacle, I wrote a really long reply before but it got lost. Hope you are having baby fun! We have a tendency to over think ever little niggle but the truth is that pregnancy hurts sometimes, lots of ligament pain and wind and then hip pain and unknown pain and gurgles and bloating and heartburn....some might say it is all part of the beautiful miracle that is pregnancy.... Try not to worry (I know that is impossible).

I want to hear all about your day with the little one. The good the bad and the stinky! Smile

Littlelady33 · 25/02/2015 13:14

Have fun treacle and agreed that some nagging pains are just part of the fun I think. I wondered if I was feeling baby flutters earlier but I may have just Been hungry and I'm not sure I'd know how to tell the difference!

Treaclepie19 · 25/02/2015 13:22

Hehe aww thanks both :)
Well he's now at his nans. I wasn't needed for as long as they thought.
All was fine, he had a lovely long nap. Lots of rolling around on the big rug in the living room.
No pooey nappies (saving those for nanny of course).
Teething tears on and off. Overall fine :)

I'm shattered though :p

treacle I've had loads of pains and twinges the last few weeks but I've told myself it's growing pains and a good sign!

Well I had my 12 week scan today and baby was doing brilliantly, waving away at us and measuring a fairly long 62mm! It was amazing but hugely emotional - today has been mostly spent crying from as soon as I opened my eyes as I was so scared right up to now when I look at the photo's!

Treaclepie19 · 25/02/2015 21:08

That's great news cava :)
Congrats!

Thank you sunbathing, I think it's because I'm such a worrier normally I'm used to people telling me to just get on with it!

11 weeks today. 1 week 4 days to scan and being able to tell people (told parents after reassurance scan). My mum offered to buy travel system for us yesterday. Not sure she knows how much they cost these days. She hasn't had a baby since 1986!

HeavenKnowsImNotSoMiserable · 26/02/2015 07:42

Blurgh! Am full of cold today, have to keep kindly rejecting my colleagues offers of cold remedies and my main pregnancy symptom is feeling bloated and gassy. I've never felt so alluring Wink

Littlelady33 · 26/02/2015 07:49

Great news cava! Thinking of you for tomorrow broody these milestones are horrid

HollyBen · 26/02/2015 09:03

Great news cava. Any news from tanny??

tannyLoo · 26/02/2015 09:11

I'm on extreme go slow I'm afraid. A couple of strong contractions and now back to general discomfort. This seems to be a pattern for me, early labour takes a few days and then suddenly I go into active labour, which was quite short last time. I was hoping it was all going to happen yesterday but just ended up a bit frustrated! Holly and Silver how are you both doing?

northdownmummy · 26/02/2015 09:28

doctorDonna the scan countdown is such a long one. I'll be counting with you Smile

HollyBen · 26/02/2015 10:38

Nothing happening here tanny bar an occasional bit of cramping. Midwife appointment this afternoon an going to try a sweep, though I am not overly hopeful. DD was born at 40+11 after no signs of labour until a second sweep at 40+10. Midwife will also be booking me in for an induction early next week. Fingers crossed things kick off for you soon x

Littlelady33 · 26/02/2015 12:56

Dr Donna I felt like time slowed down before my 12 week scan. You're close though. And how exciting for those of you in the final stages! Keep us updated. I'm now panicking (of course) slightly about being almost 19wks and feeling finally normal again! No food aversions no sickness less tired most days... Even getting that healthy hair thing. This is normal right?

silverine · 26/02/2015 13:22

Hi tanny and holly, nothing much to report here either apart from BH tightenings which are uncomfortable but not painful.
Had a midwife appointment on tuesday and apparently I'm 4/5 engaged (1/5 into pelvis). It feels very low now, but no signs of labour yet.
MW asked about movements and they have been fewer and not as strong, which I thought was normal at this stage, but she sent me to hospital for a trace anyway. After a long wait, trace looked fine but they told me to come for another one the following day (yesterday) too, as the doctor wasn't there then. So yesterday I spent another 5 hours waiting around the hospital... Confused for nothing new really. Trace fine again, doctor not worried and said we wouldn't need to discuss induction just yet. Have you been called for repeat trace if all fine?
Making another trip to the hospital today for a scan (apparently it's protocol if you've been for a trace twice). Not that I mind this time though, the scanaholic that I am! Wink wouldn't mind also discussing booking an induction for some point next week just in case, really don't want to go over a week overdue! Blush
