For me with dd, the last few weeks were the longest - they took ages to pass!! Now, with this pg, every single day is taking forever. Just hope that my 20 week scan is clear and I can start enjoying my pg.

silver, my movements with dd slowed down in the last few weeks. Less room for them to be partying in there. As long as you feel something a few times a day, I wouldn't worry too much who am I kidding, I worry enough for this whole group, my AN thread... Heck, virtually every other person in the world! btw, I didn't know about your nt measurements, did you have any further testing? Xx

Treaclepie19 · 20/02/2015 14:00

Thanks ladies :)
I've been out all morning but it's dawning on me now that in 3 and a half hours Im going to know if baby is ok or not.

Doctordonna I neeeed some maternity trousers... been and bought some more long tops/dresses today as I seem to be living in the same few.

Hi broody my nt was so high, the hospital didn't even bother with the bloods, said I'm high risk and offered csv. Went to the FMC on harley street for the harmony test instead. It came back negative (1:10000) for the three trisomies and subsequent heart scans were fine but you always have it on the back of your mind it might be something very rare they don't test for...
Thanks for the advice on movements. Most days there several small movements but some days most of the day there can be nothing, although he might liven up in the evening. ..

blankfornames · 20/02/2015 14:31

Silver, I'm the same as you. My movements have definitely reduced over the past 3 weeks. I mentioned it to the Consultant and she said that that is very normal coming towards the end as they run out of space and also they sleep more to reserve energy for the grand eviction. She said as long as you feel 10 in 12 hours, everything is fine. If worried, drink a cold fizzy drink, lie on your left side and you should feel something then. It's hard though. I reckon I'll be chastising Bean when he/she makes an apprearance by constantly checking the chest for movement.

Everything's fine :) Little one was waving and dancing. Kicking their little legs. Dated at 9+3 (I'm 9+5) but she said looked nearer 10.
