Last thread ended with a series of Really Good News, so let's hope this one keeps up the trend!

So, just got back into work after a nice relaxed booking in appointment with my midwife who was really lovely. She had a MMC herself so is trying her best to get me an earlier scan and is harassing my rubbishGP on my behalf. So, hopefully I will have some reassurance soon.
Anyway, trying to be not anxious. Today I am pregnant 7 +5.

happygojo · 04/02/2015 13:28

Oh yes my EDD is now 10th August, a week ahead but my cycles were a bit funny after my MC so it was obviously a short month!

Still can't believe it. It is inside me and 7cm from head to bum and sat on my left low abdomen.....

I have told people now, I didn't want to wait until 20 weeks because I don't want to have to hide my fat belly bump I mean how often can you let it all hang out and not be judged!

I also realised today that in my daze I left the antenatal clinic without booking my next scan, I have the form in my notes that I was supposed to hand in to reception OOPS! I am sure I am not the first

Keep staring at the pic

Treaclepie19 · 04/02/2015 13:39

Ooh commander we have the same due date!

Could I be added too please?

Treaclepie19, 24, 1 mc in may 2014 at 8+4, due 20th September 2015

Glad all went well doctordonna :)

silverine · 04/02/2015 13:48

Oooh, nice to have so many new additions! Keep them coming - will post the updated list on Friday.

CommanderShepard · 04/02/2015 13:51

I thought we might, treacle! It's the day before DH's birthday too though I have reassured him chances are good I won't be in labour on his birthday.

It's a popular time of year in our family on both sides; we've got at least one birthday every month from August to December. DD bucked the trend by being born in May Grin

It's my dh's birthday on the day! And his brothers (same bday 5 years apart).
Hehe, busy busy for all of us :)

MelB2014 · 04/02/2015 15:15

Hello,

Tentatively poking my head in here... I posted here just recently in December as I was having problems with bleeding during my pregnancy. Sadly I had a MC at 8 weeks which was confirmed on 9th December.

To mine and my husband's surprise, after feeling a bit funny the last 2 weeks we just did a test and I'm pregnant again.

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and worried at the moment about how quickly this has happened!!! According to the the digital test I am 2-3 weeks from conception and by my last period, 4.5 weeks....

I'm finding it hard to be excited at the moment because the trauma of my MC is still quite fresh in my mind Confused

Littlelady33 · 04/02/2015 15:43

Thanks for the update silver how exciting! It's going to be a busy July in particular. Happy keep starting at this picture I know I have been! And fair enough re telling people, I was going to wait until twenty weeks but already I'm finding my wardrobe a challenge (turns out I just don't have many baggy clothes) so I may cave in sooner

I've had a bit of good news. At booking in appointment, despite age, weight and mother's history of pre-eclampsia, I'm low risk apparently! Just need to keep a close eye on my blood pressure. The letter I got from hospital was a stupid automated letter that means nothing! Now just hoping to hear back from doctor about getting earlier scan tomorrow.
Feeling a bit more positive today - partly because my boobs hurt SO much!

Thanks sunbathing I'm trying not to eat too much Blush

Great news mummy really happy for you.

Hope all is ok Cava thinking of you.

cavamonster · 05/02/2015 06:35

All good here thank god! The baby has tripled in growth since the last scan a fortnight ago and a strong heartbeat was detected. I have now been told that they (st Mary's) recommend me moving to my local hospital at 12 weeks and to treat it as a normal pregnancy so I finally contacted my gp to arrange my booking in appointment!

Not quite ready to be added to stats yet but going to start encouraging myself to be more positive now.

Glad everyone else got on well yesterday, good luck to anyone with them coming up in next few days it's so nerve wrecking!!

Littlelady33 · 05/02/2015 07:15

Great news cava!
