Last thread ended with a series of Really Good News, so let's hope this one keeps up the trend!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
DoctorDonnaNoble · 30/01/2015 06:32

I'm so scared. There's nothing actually wrong. Still have symptoms. But....what if it's another empty sac like last time. I don't know if I'll be able to cope. Why can't I just fast forward to knowing everything's either ok or not. I hate the not knowing.

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2015 07:47

Sending you hugs Doctordonna, that's exactly how I was feeling.
I'd convinced myself I'd go and it'd be the same as last time.

Perhaps try talking to your doctor/midwife and maybe they will give you a reassurance scan?

DoctorDonnaNoble · 30/01/2015 07:56

Talked to my sonographer friend and she says I should qualify for reassurance referral but if they refuse she'll see me anyway. So I've just got to try and make it to Wednesday when I see the midwife anyway. I'll be 7 +5 then.

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2015 07:59

That's great, I'm glad you've got a plan :)

There is a heartbeat. There really is a heartbeat.

OMFG.

I'm about 6+5 so earlier than thought but dating scan may say different.

Yeay Commander! Grin

Thepurplegiraffe · 30/01/2015 13:06

Brilliant news Shepard! That is fantastic news, it must be such a relief.

Congratulations also to Treacle, great news on the scan.

I managed to get the mw to listen to the heart beat yesterday at my 16w appointment so I am also feeling much happier.

longestlurkerever · 30/01/2015 13:08

Happy news all round purple!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 30/01/2015 13:11

Oh commander I'm so happy for you.
I can't shake the negativity today. Maybe because I'm so bloody tired. I know I wasn't this bad last time. And I know my boobs weren't constantly sore. But I also know it could still be nothing. Need to get myself out of this negativity. Any tips?

Sometimes I think it's the hormones making me feel so negative DoctorDonna, I seem to have spent the whole pregnancy in a state of anxiety and I'm sure the latest reassurance will last a matter of days. So you could take it as a positive sign.... Easier said than done I know.

broodylicious · 30/01/2015 13:40

Big hoorays for treacle, commander and purple! So glad your littlies are all good and healthy and where they should be Smile Aah, it really has warmed my heart coming on and reading that!

Come on gail! We want baby news!GrinWink PuuuuuuusssshShock

HollyBen · 30/01/2015 14:23

Good to hear all the positive scsn news Grin

Woohoo for mat leave tanny. I only have Tuesday and Wednesday next week to work (and am planning on both being short days) then on annual leave until mat leave starts on 13th Feb. Really must start to get organised. ..

35+4

HollyBen · 30/01/2015 14:25

Any news from baby after her trip to hospital?

Exciting gail. Waiting to hear you news x

Babytinx11 · 30/01/2015 15:42

Just got home from the hospital after being kept in for 2 nights most unexpected too. Having regular tightenings and trouble breathing along with a stupidly fast heartrate Hmm other than the breathing thing I had no idea about the other stuff till I got there. After 2 days of tests they have let me home on the condition that I rest and go back if anything gets worse. The consultant on the ward has recommended I be assessed for for induction at 37 weeks rather than 38 because of the new issues. Be glad when she is here now.

Will catch up with all the news this evening hope everyone is doing good :)

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2015 17:26

That's fantastic commander I'm so pleased for you :)

Thanks ladies. I'm trying to keep positive, i feel like I've got more to lose now though!

Glad you're home baby, look after yourself x

maverick79 · 30/01/2015 17:59

Congratulations commander, am so pleased for you. Reading that has lifted my spirits. I hope you can enjoy a relaxed weekend now.

tannyLoo · 30/01/2015 18:54

Commander phew! And breathe x

Doctor I would blame hormones. Mine have made me ever so low and negative at times throughout this pg. Feeling shitty is a good sign!

Hollyben yay to only two short days to go! The end is in sight!

Baby, I missed the news you'd been in again. She will be a beaut when she gets here x

Mslad · 30/01/2015 19:01

Just checked in- YAAAAAAAAY Commander I'm so thrilled for you. That's put a big smile on my face.

baby hope you're ok, it sounds like you're going through a really hard time, but hopefully it'll all be over soon and you'll have your LO.

DoctorDonna Sorry I can't really help, and can only back up what sunbathing said, I was completely doom filled until my 20 week scan. I just couldn't shake my negative feelings. And those feelings still re-occur when movements lesson. All I can say is that I've somehow got to 24 weeks, although it felt like time just stopped while getting here, but it didn't, so the next weeks will come, and we will deal with whatever comes our way. But the odds are, we will have happy outcomes, so lets cling to that!

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2015 23:51

:( pains are quite bad tonight.
I'm hoping its just round ligament pain bit I'm not sure.
I'm going to try and get some sleep and hope all is ok.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 31/01/2015 10:56

Hope you're feeling better today Treacle

Boozle80 · 31/01/2015 10:58

Hurray Commander! That's wonderful news.
Has anyone else had any bizarre cervix pain - I've had it on and off for about 5 weeks, it's really sore and I can't walk properly when I've got it - just wondering if all the ERPCs have left me with a particularly sensitive cervix so if anything stretches round there it's agony. It's slightly unnerving, it seems to be worse if I lie on my side and slightly better if I tick my bum on a pillow - don't think it can be the baby as it's constant instead of the odd boot or twinge here or there...

Boozle80 · 31/01/2015 11:00

How're you doing Treacle? Did you manage to get any sleep?
