popping in to wish you all the best cuppa and smooth going tomorrow. Stay strong and enjoy time with your little baby! xx

Babytinx11 · 04/12/2014 21:51

Oh cuppa that sucks got everything crossed for you for tomorrow

Babytinx11 · 04/12/2014 21:59

Just a quick question found out from reading my scan report that I have an anterior placenta is that the one where it's in the front? And would that explain why I feel movement on some places and not others? Also will it affect labour no idea about any of it lol

thesmallbear · 04/12/2014 22:15

Sorry to hear that Cuppa. I would be super grumpy if I hadn't eaten for that long. I hope you get your section early in the morning.

catbus · 04/12/2014 22:15

smallbear I think it's good you're having a scan for peace of mind Smile
cuppa agh what a wind up..fingers crossed you get an early slot and meet baby cup really soon Smile
baby yes, anterior is front. I had one with my last son and accounted for only being able to feel limited movements- I was in and out for monitoring! In fact I have had 3 but ds must have had a bloody blanket one.in there several feet thick Wink
It doesn't affect labour though.

Babytinx11 · 04/12/2014 23:47

Thanks cat I feel tons of movement she is a little fidget it's just limited to feeling it in certain places so I am guessing where I don't feel it is where my placenta is :) I had no idea until I read the report from Tuesday's scan lol

WorryWurta · 05/12/2014 07:39

31, 2nd pregnancy, approaching the anniversary of our ectopic last December. Also a couple years failed fertility treatments behind us (This one was a surprise natural). Finding it very difficult, still feel like we have an axe hanging over us...

longestlurkerever · 05/12/2014 07:42

Hello everyone. Quick q from me. Does anyone else have quite intense but short-lived pain if they roll over at night or twist round? It's practically all over my bump, rising from the bottom. I wouldn't really call it cramping though so hoping some sort of stretching pain.

Good luck today cuppa!

Phryn · 05/12/2014 08:08

Welcome worry - how far along are you? You'll find this thread is a great supportive thread as we all have our wobbles at times. Being pregnant after a loss can be scary but "today we are pregnant" and the help of these lovely ladies has made a real difference.

Sorry you got bumped yesterday cuppa. Really hoping you are high on the list today and that you get to meet baby cup really soon. Praying all goes well.

Small so sorry you've had the worry. I hope the nutcracker was distracting and that you can keep busy today. We all have times in our lives when we use hardly any of the NHS resources, and then times when we need to use more. I'd have done exactly the same and called the EPU as the reassurance can make a huge amount of difference. Really hoping all is well.

blankfornames · 05/12/2014 08:38

Yes Longest, I get that all the time! It's normally if I'm moving from one side to the other. Sometimes i get it if I walk too far so it could be some sort of tummy muscles being strained. I'm trying to use my arms as much to turn in bed, but it's a massive effort!

longestlurkerever · 05/12/2014 09:32

Thanks blank. It's reassuring to know it's not just me. Was seriously considering phoning EPU but didn't want to make a fuss over nothing.

Welcome worry. Congratulations on your pregancy. We all recognise the fear. One day as a time is all. It gets easier, but doesn't totally go away (or at least hasn't so far).

Good luck small. Pink cm is still usually absolutely fine. Lots of women on here had it and it came to nothing. I understand though- I would be asking for a scan too.

Ah shit. Massive wobble today. Sore boobs have pretty much been there all the time. But now I wake up with zero symptoms and I am so trying hard to not cry! They don't even hurt when poked.
No nausea either. This whole first trimester is a roller coaster and I'm surprised any of us stay sane Confused

How many weeks are you catbus? Honestly my symptoms have come and gone so many times. My boobs haven't been sore either - just a bit bigger than usual. I had a big loss of symptoms around 9 weeks then they piled in with a vengeance!

Thanks sunbathing. Thank goodness for this thread eh?

I'm 8+4. I guess it's because for the last couple of weeks they have been full and sore and now they just feel normal.
MW just phoned about my booking appt on Monday and I said my symptoms had gone. She didn't seem very bothered!
I'm seeing someone on Mon so.will tell them if things haven't picked up by then.
Thanks longest and sunbathing
I too think this thread is a lifesaver Smile

charlieis30 · 05/12/2014 13:38

Argh as I think I've mentioned before DH is my boss at work. Symptoms are getting worse, nausea and tiredness and just generally feeling crotchety. Earlier I was telling him how sick I felt and he told me to go home but I didn't want to as I don't really want to draw attention to myself (no one else knows yet and I was already 2h late earlier this week as I slept in!) So I said no but I'd just focus on mindless things the rest of the day. Now he's sent me this long list of things to do urgently. ARGH. I stormed into his office and yelled at him, not knowing he was on a conference call (he was on mute thank goodness but lucky break!) Honestly I know I'm in a really lucky position but still sometimes it all drives me MAD.

sorry ladies, no one else to rant at. Ignore me!

longestlurkerever · 05/12/2014 13:49

charlie - I can feel your pregnancy rage leaping off the page! I had that too - weirdly it dissipated as the sickness really kicked in. DH works in my office too but thankfully is not my boss. Don't really have anything to do with him at work except he turns up now and again with biscuits. That is definitely close enough for me, and I am still worried we will one day have a very public row!

charlieis30 · 05/12/2014 14:09

Now I just want to cry. Honestly, hormones!

lurker good to hear I'm not the only one working with a DP. It's a tiny company and most of the time I work from home but I have a love/hate relationship with being in the office... usually I get loads done as I'm super focused (no laundry/dishes/pottering around to distract me!) but it's a challenge while pregnant.

No news yet from Cuppa? Just popped in to see...

Sorry for the lack of symptoms, it's horrible isn't it? After that comes bump worry and kicking worry. Hope you can find some time when things feel OK.

Baby how are you doing? Hope you're OK.

I'm fine, having vile dreams where the baby disappears from my tummy because I'm lying on my back. I always go to sleep on my side, but always wake up on my back. Grr...

27+3 today.

Babytinx11 · 05/12/2014 15:47

tanny I've had better days but I am definitely better than I was soo ready for this to be over now and to feel better :) I can sympathise with the nightmares think it must be hormones and worry pregnancy is scary

FlorenceandZebedee · 05/12/2014 16:33

I'm not much of a comment poster on here but have caught up with the new thread and wanted to send my love to all those in the first trimester. It truly is a gruelling time and I can empathise with having few symptoms and those that are there disappearing at around 9 weeks, feels like doubt and anxiety rule your life but hang on in there, the time will eventually pass and you'll see those wriggly little beans performing on screen. To cuppa, what a journey you have been on, thoughts are with you too, hoping you're now cuddling up with your little bundle. A bit of fish slapping needed here I think, I've hit 24 weeks this week but haven't put on much weight and am constantly being told how small my bump is. I also have anterior placenta so movement is a bit hit and miss, but very noticeable at 4 am! Can someone tell me to get a grip!! Xx

charlieis30 · 05/12/2014 17:00

thanks florence... 1st trim is balls, I'm so not happy to be going through these early weeks again & again :/ Nice to have reminders that it is in fact possible to get to the 20s and 30s weeks!
