Tiger!!! Great news! Thanks for popping in to share it and for the good wishes! She must be your little pre-Christmas miracle indeed! What a journey you've had indeed - so happy for you! Thanks Will you to the stats list later.
newera welcome and congrats!

Skinnylegs33 · 22/12/2014 15:51

quiettiger omg, so happy for you. Made me cry.
Have the happiest christmas ever! (I know you will)
What a lovely post! Congratulations! I can't even imagine how you must feel.

Disneylandkilledmychildhood · 22/12/2014 15:53

Thank you for the reassurance charlie and calling

Disneylandkilledmychildhood · 22/12/2014 15:55

newera I'm so pleased for you! I've just come over from the soy thread. This was my month off soy and I'm only 10dpo. Worrying so much. Hope you are well.

D00dles · 22/12/2014 15:55

Can I have some advice ladies? I have had an upset tummy feeling this afternoon. I have been to the loo (sorry if TMI) it was normal but did make me feel more comfortable. Still feel really achy but I've have been lazy today, mainly because I feel completely shattered. I haven't moved much so I wonder if that hasn't helped? My clothes are also feeling tight and uncomfortable, so maybe I'm bloated? I'm just panicking that it's the start of a miscarriage! I don't want to make an appointment at the drs for no reason! Confused

thesmallbear · 22/12/2014 17:17

Congratulations Tiger Xmas Grin

Congratulations and good luck NewEra.

CallingAllEngels · 22/12/2014 17:34

Huge congratulations tiger ! Lovely news.

silverine · 22/12/2014 18:04

calling, I'm also really tempted by the mw-led birthing centre - it looks lovely, with your own room, pool, one-to-one midwife etc (My local is the Barkantine on the Isle of Dogs in London - anyone else near me?). But the downside is that it's not in the same building as the hospital, so in case of any complications, they need to transfer you by ambulance.
I do want to have as natural as possible a labour but I'm really scared of anything going wrong (not going to list all my fears but I'm sure we've all heard lots of stories...). The MW do assess you regularly and make a plan to transfer you in good time, if needed, but they are all "zen" and rely on moving and positions to get around issues that I may prefer an intervention (a drip if labour too long, caesarian if baby too big/pelvis too small, etc.)
By teh way, posting stats update tonight. any of the newbies want to be added to the list?

catbus · 22/12/2014 18:04

Do0dles Don't forget everything is shifting about inside! I've had guts going funny on and off. Your digestive system slows down and can be prone to constipation- even if the pooh is normal it can feel like you've shifted a galaxy!!
Bloating is normal too, especially as the day wears on.. Smile

Oh Christ. I just wiped and getting pink cm. Dull cramping too. I have never bled in.pregnancy without it having gone wrong. DH has gone out to do the food shop and I don't know what to do.
I don't want to MC over Christmas. It's not fair Sad

broodylicious · 22/12/2014 19:44

Welcome newera, lovely to see you on the other side Smile

tiger, what a wonderfully positive story. You've had such sadness and sorrow but now your gorgeous little lady is here to ease your pain. Just fabulous ThanksThanks

D00dles · 22/12/2014 19:45

Thank you, it has eased off now. I just don't remember being uncomfortable with DD but I was younger and hadn't experienced a MC then!
Oh Catbus I'm sorry to hear that I have my fingers crossed for you xx

catbus · 22/12/2014 19:50

I've texted mw again but the chances of getting scanned before Christmas are probably very slim I would've thought. I'm petrified.

Littlelady33 · 22/12/2014 19:53

Catbus I'm so sorry to hear that but there are so many quite innocuous reasons for some bleeding in pregnancy so everything crossed for you. Where are you based? Any early pregnancy unit should still be able to see you surely? I know that the London hospitals will

catbus · 22/12/2014 19:57

It always takes at least a few days or more to get one- even when gp has requested as cannot self refer. Nearest big city is Plymouth. Thing is I have cramping too..

Skinnylegs33 · 22/12/2014 20:23

catbus pff, so sorry to hear this.
I really hope it will turn out to be one of those unexplained/innocent bleeds that many mention in early pregnancy.
Can you not try the A&E?

silverine · 22/12/2014 20:25

catbus i would give it till the morning to see if its just a one off. If not, you should go to A&E and they'll send you to epu for scan (if they have the facilities in the same hospital)

catbus · 22/12/2014 20:41

I have other numbers on.my notes. I.will call those if mw doesn't get back to me- think her phone is off as text not delivered. Will try and hold tight overnight and then push to be seen ASAP.
I'm terrified of mc at home Sad

Babytinx11 · 22/12/2014 21:17

Congratulations tiger Grin

catbus I personally would head to A&E when your hubby gets home try not to worry bleeding doesn't always mean the worst I've bled a few times in this pregnancy the last time was at 26 weeks. Try and stay calm hun got everything crossed for you.

Well touch wood I have managed more than a whole week out of hospital now and I feel reasonable still got pain in my kidney but I am getting used to it now. Experiencing the joys of being 30 weeks as well as the terror that I'm going to end up back in Confused. Baby is still where she needs to be though and no one thought she would be :). Got an appointment the 9th for a growth scan and to see the consultant about induction at 38 weeks if we get that far as the urologist is worried about the effect on my kidney of keeping going much beyond 37 weeks.

ElleyBear13 · 22/12/2014 21:32

Thank you girls! And congrats to all the new bfps! And massive congratulations to tiger :) decided with hubby to go ahead and book a early private scan for 9weeks...however as we're only 4w4d we're going to book it closer to the time. Excited! :) xxx

catbus · 22/12/2014 21:42

I can't really as there's nobody to stay with the kids. Did you also have mild cramping, baby?
Thinking of you and glad bubs is staying put! Hoping you manage to reach a mutually good point for delivery for baby and kidney Smile
