Could someone add me to the stats too?

OneDay, 27, MMC June 2014, DC#1 due 26/04/14

Had my 12 sweek scan today and all is well so I'm taking comfort in the fact that this is the furthest I've got in pregnancy so far.

Congratulations on your scan news, one day! Sounds like we're due within a few days of each other. The 12 week scan is amazing, isn't it? DH and I keep staring at the photo.

Nothing new from me. First NCT class tonight - cant really believe we have finally got this far tbh - feels a bit unreal.

impatienceisavirtue · 13/10/2014 15:46

Hello - I am hoping to stay here this time and not be shunted back onto ttc again!

Ttc for 15 months. V early mc last year, fell pregnant cycle after which ended in mmc in May.

Finally got BFP yesterday! Can't actually believe it still.

Itscurtainsforyou · 13/10/2014 17:51

Thanks all. Just had a call from the EPU and my levels are 766, much lower than they should be at 6w4, plus low progesterone. I'll go back in a couple of days to have them repeated, but at these levels I don't think there will be any need for another scan.

Thanks for your support etc. and good luck with your pregnancies.

itscurtains so sorry you're going through this! but glad to hear they have a plan for you xx

Welcome impatience, sorry about previous losses and congratulations on this pregnancy.

Good news re scan tori

amicable hope the class was good! reminds me that I really should get organised myself!

Thanks for the stats list silver, next time anyone updates it! can they bring my due date forward to dec 25th please; it seems daft for me to update it just for that. Xx

StopEatingThatMud · 14/10/2014 09:26

curtains so sorry to hear your news, I hope you start getting some positive help now.

tori so glad everything's looking ok for you!

Currently sat at center parcs, DP has taken 3yo and dog out for a walk after letting me have a lie in following another crappy night of broken sleep. He's a keeper :)

CorporeSarnie · 14/10/2014 10:45

curtains, hope that the docs get to the bottom of the clotting disorder, and that you get all the help you need, both medical and in terms of support.
Good to hear positive scan news from so many.
afm, still in shock at being at term; am working until next week, and am growing rather tired of every conversation featuring 'when are you finishing?', 'do you know what it is yet?', but I guess people struggle to find conversational gambits with a huge bump in front of them. A nice problem to have really. Could probably do with more sleep - awake from 2am til around 5am last night, ended up having two bananas and a glass of milk to try and get back to sleep. Will be well-prepared for a non-sleeper at this rate Smile.

leanne963 · 14/10/2014 11:37

So sorry curtains big hug!!!

I'm so frustrated again! Yesterday morning woke up and felt a little 'wetter' that usual and whiped and there was a small amount of brown blood, then throughout the day there was just the smallest amount of spotting. Then this morning woke up and I wore a panty liner so I can catch anything and there was two drops of dark red blood! I ended up going to the toilet (plus a bowel movement) now when I wipe it it just brown again. I'm driving myself crazy cause I am like 'it's gonna be a miscarriage again' but I am trying to be positive. My SIL was rushed into hospital over the weekend as she was bleeding very heavily at 12 weeks. I'm about 7w6d just wish someone could tell me why I am spotting!
Had a scan last week and showed a healthy baby with a heart beat but they didn't know why I was spotting! Grrr

longestlurkerever · 14/10/2014 16:15

So sorry curtains. It is just awful. Really angry for you too if it turns out to be treatable. Fingers crossed for you leanne. Congrats and welcome back impatience.

Well it's so far so good for me. Saw a foetus measuring 7w+3 with a hb which is a huge milestone for me as haven't seen one since dd. Thought I should be 8 weeks but it's within the margin of error and the same happened with dd so trying not to panic. Have another scan at st Mary's next week.

Maybe I will even take the plunge and ask to be added to the stats next time they're updated:

Longesrlurkerever: 1dd, 2mc, 1mmc, edd 30 May 2015

SuzyBean · 14/10/2014 19:38

Hi longestlurker I wouldn't worry to much about dates at this point. I had a scan around the same time as you and they put me back three days. Then when I had a scan at 9 weeks they put me forward by 2 days and then at my 13 week scan they put me forward 3 more days! They said that it's really hard to measure accurately when it's so small!!

amicablemoomin · 14/10/2014 22:56

just dropping in super quick to say - NCT was good - nice people and seems interesting. Good for DH for general support I think - he came away happy and positive.

pocketsized · 15/10/2014 07:27

Morning all,
I've been lurking around for a while, but still not sure this has all sunk in yet so haven't really posted. Previous MMC and ectopic and am now 16+4 (apparently - like u say, anxiety is making it hard for me to believe)

I've got my 16 week midwife appt later, and DH had had to go in a course with work (not his fault at all, and really nothing he can do about it, so not cross with him) and I don't really know anyone here so going on my own. I'm terrified, totally terrified. He was away when I found out about the MMC too, but I had at least taken a close friend with me - this time I'm totally on my todd :(

There's no reason to think anything is wrong, and I know people are dealing with much more serious situations but Just hoping for a little bit of hand holding so I don't drive myself potty in the next few hours.....

Thanks Tori
Yes, I rather lost it with DH at the weekend because he keeps "promising" everything will be fine - I know he is trying to help, but that just isn't a promise he can make. Poor chap is stuck between a bit of a rock and a hard place though, because I want reassuring, but then I'm cross that he's trying!

I've got my flu jab booked for after the midwife appt, I reasoned that it would probably be more dangerous to catch flu, than have the jab, so I'm being brave (I hate needles!) if it makes you feel any better though, I doubt very much that the midwife will put you on the spot to have it at your appointment, I had to book mine with the GP - I think they have a nurse who's pretty much running flu jab clinics doing them all.

I know what you mean about not wanting to cause problems, I think if anything though I have been more relaxed about that this time round, last time I was mega strict, got myself all worked up about decaf tea bags and minimal amounts of chocolate etc etc and it still went wrong, so this time I've tried to be kinder to myself. If it can go wrong when you are playing by the rules I figure I might as well cheer myself up with a proper cup of tea!
