There's lots of germs flying round at mo. I was going to take some echinacea but just read the packet and says do not take if pregnant so have settled for an effervescent vit c. My poor mum has got the lurgy and has had it bad since Friday!

Scan tomorrow. Nervous and excited at same time.

Had stir fry tonight with lots of veg, so getting in the goodness that way.

Pipbin · 01/12/2014 20:27

Bushy Scan tomorrow! Why so early? I have a whole week to wait I might actually just die from the stress before that.
Cramping today but it felt like low cramps like AF.

RevoltingPeasant · 01/12/2014 21:47

Pip I had that for ages. It may be your uterus getting going.

Bushy tomorrow? Eek? Everything, everything crossed!!

In less exciting news, I think I now have piles :( I was congratulating myself on getting through it with nothing majorly horrid or undignified happening, and then..... Ick.

On the plus side... 31w today Grin

FeatherFeather11 · 01/12/2014 22:48

rp I have piles too! Snap! Got it a few days ago but now it's easing off, thank gawd! Deeply unpleasant business. Congrats on 31w. I'm a few days off yet!

Bushy sending you the bestest and strongest Berrie vibes for tomorrow. Will check in to see how you go, so don't leave us hanging!

pip I had cramping. It's just the embryo bedding in. No fear! Also, try not to worry about not having has The Sickness yet. Everyone is different. I felt rubbish but was never actually sick and then it all went wAway.

lentil impressive diet. I lived on carbs for the first three months and I still can't bare the sight of fish/seafood.

FeatherFeather11 · 01/12/2014 23:09

Ps. Suffering the worst heartburn ever. Nearly polished off a pack of rennies tonight. Yowtch

greatbigbushybeard · 02/12/2014 07:16

Thanks guys! pip I'm now just 7 weeks and was due to start 2nd round if Ivf so I rang the clinic & they want to get me in for an early scan because of my history.

I'll come on tonight to let you know how it went. Think dh is a bit nervous. He asked me how everything is down there! Also has asked have I had any spotting with this one etc.

Oh dear girls, piles do not sound good. What can you do about them? And are they the same as haemeroids- or are they worse? ( not even sure I know what one is!!) bless you with the heartburn too feather, how about gaviscon?

FeatherFeather11 · 02/12/2014 07:44

Go bushy! Sending you lots of luck and good vibes. Natural to be nervous. I was in bits before they saw me - was convinced I had another ectopic. Will check in after my yoga class this eve. Re piles - think it happens because the digestive system slows down as everything is squashed up, then one gets a little constipated, and then... The Piles/haemorrhoids can make an appearance. Blush Pregnancy is a little undignified. Confused

Pipbin · 02/12/2014 07:46

Good luck Bushy. Sending Ganesha vibes.

ladybunnikins · 02/12/2014 10:15

Good luck Bushy! I was so nervous before my first scan.
Pip if you want to join the grad berries FB group send Merk a message. Sparechange and the berry not on MN are on there. The old originals are on there (not in a Vampire Diaries way!). I think Kitten and Foxy are mainly on there now. Still waiting for RP, Feather and Wino Smile

winohhh · 02/12/2014 11:10

Hello! Lovely to see it looking so busy in here!! Don't think I've said hello to lentil yet, welcome!

Sorry I've been a bit quiet, been struggling a bit with the diabetes this last few days. I've lost a bit of weight, so now worried about the baby being too small as well as worrying they may be too big because of the diabetes. Argh! Anyway, had a scan yesterday, and all is well. Baby is growing right on schedule. Phew!

Bushy, everything crossed for you today!! Good luck!!

RP and Feather, sorry to hear about the piles! I don't think I have them yet. Would I know if I did?

FeatherFeather11 · 02/12/2014 12:22

Oh, yes win - you'd definitely know. Hmm
Sorry to hear you've had a tough few days, but good to hear baby win is ok. I think it's normal to go up and down in weight a bit in
pregnancy, no? I know I've gone up and down here and there.

thelentil · 02/12/2014 17:48

Hi Winohhh, glad little one is well

How's Bushy? Any news?

I went to A&E last night, worried about cramps and spotting, they've given me antibiotics for a urine infection and booked a scan tomorrow, I know it probably won't show much, but it might help, at least I'll know

I had a really rude customer at work today, made me a bit cross, then even more cross that he's making me cross and that's no good for the passenger! How very dare he endanger my pregnancy! Much righteous indignation (is that a symptom?)

RevoltingPeasant · 02/12/2014 18:03

Bushy? Everything crossed for you, I so hope it was all okay.

Win depends. I think hope to Gawd mine are mild as they seem to come and go. They basically just mean your bumhole feels squishy. So far anyway.

That is one sentence I never thought I'd type Hmm

FeatherFeather11 · 02/12/2014 18:10

Checking in on bushy...

rp "squishy bum hole" - HA!

llentil sorry to hear about the uti, and good luck for tomorrow.

Off to yoga now. Will come back here asap.

Pipbin · 02/12/2014 19:47

Bushy. Please bring good news.

greatbigbushybeard · 02/12/2014 20:20

Hello ladies, thanks for all of your good wishes. I'm pleased to say it all went well- phew! The nurse did shit me up by saying 'I'm sorry' near the beginning, which I thought meant I'm sorry it's bad news but she was actually apologising for poking me with the dildocam! I was like poke away love!!

We saw baby bushy, heart beating, fetal pole, egg sac and all measuring pretty much as things should at this stage. The fc said that they were discharging me and that I will now be under the care of my doctors and any problems go to them. I spotted our consultant in there and really wanted to barge in there and tell her!!

The healthy eating has not gone well today. I've eaten about 7 biscuits today!!

thelentil · 02/12/2014 20:21

That is a great article, it always seemed like common sense to me that having a midwife at your house would be far better than several busy, distracted staff

How's the symptom spotting Pip?

thelentil · 02/12/2014 20:23

Yay Bushy! That's great news. I've eaten an entire packet of ginger cookies today, because ginger is meant to help with sickness right? I didn't feel sick until I'd finished that packet

greatbigbushybeard · 02/12/2014 20:40

Ha ha lentil I think eating helps with the sickness as well so wasn't the overeating that made you feel sick, it was the stopping Wink

Pipbin · 02/12/2014 21:12

I've eaten half a large pizza because I was late at school with parents evening.

Brilliant news Bushy. How many weeks are you now?

Still no symptoms here but people seem to be saying that this is normal.

RevoltingPeasant · 02/12/2014 21:16

Yay Bushy!! That is great news. It is a really good sign to see a HB at that stage - I remember looking up the stats after my threatened MC at 7w and they were really good.

Anyhow biscuits are healthy in pregnancy - true fact!

winohhh · 02/12/2014 22:30

Yay bushy!!! Great news!!

FeatherFeather11 · 02/12/2014 23:35

Goooooo bushy!!! Congrats on great scan news! xx

CatsCantFlyFast · 03/12/2014 05:43
