Keeping fingers crossed for you Psmith!

MrsG hope it turns out to be nothing! Good they're checking you out.

I've got my 32 week appointment tomorrow, hope it doesn't run late- could do without baking for 2 hours because of booking in issues!

Thanks Squiz and mrs G. Good luck to both of you as well.

MrsGiraffe12 · 17/07/2014 23:20

Finally home from the hospital. Had over an hours worth of BP check and babies heart rate. Normal blood pressure, baby happy too. Pre eclampsia bloods came back clear too, but have protien in my wee and have gained another 2lbs since Tuesday so that's 9.9lbs in 10 days. Have to see midwife again Monday but they think I'm ok for the time being. Also saw a different consultant, and chatted about Tuesday a bit. Have it in writing that I won't have an ECV to turn baby if still breech, and that it will be c section, and that the only way I will vbac is if baby is cephalic and spontaneous labour. Any other circumstance I'm allowed the section :-) so positives really x

KeepingTheFaith9 · 18/07/2014 02:50

Hurrah Mrs G - sounds positive news - glad you are feeling better and it all sounds much more reassuring.
Hope the weight gain slows up, it's good they are keeping an eye on it.
Take care.
Smile

TeaRex · 18/07/2014 06:20

Wow mrsg great news! So pleased for you you've been listened to and have the birth plan you want xxx

BlueStarsAtNight · 18/07/2014 06:25

MrsG that's great news, I'm so glad you went to get checked hopefully that will put your mind at rest for a whiles at least!

PSmith, thinking about you this morning, I hope you get some positive news.

Congratulations to everyone with good scans recently, nothing much to report here, I'm 6+5 and everything seems ok. I have hardly any symptoms which is worrying me slightly. Might bite the bullet and see the GP next week to start everything off.

OneLittleToddleTerror · 18/07/2014 08:09

mrsg that's good news all round for you.

psmith thinking of you. Take care.

amicablemoomin · 18/07/2014 08:13

Babytinx11 · 18/07/2014 08:47

Glad you got stuff sorted mrsg :)

GailLondon · 18/07/2014 08:54

Morning everyone!
Sounds good Mrs G, glad you were able to get checked out and make some progress.

I'm 12 weeks today! This is the day it all went wrong last time so I'm feeling a bit weird. But no bleeding at all this pregnancy and feeling much much sicker.
Private scan on Sunday, am petrified!

Babytinx11 · 18/07/2014 10:04

Midwife called this morning to arrange my booking app bit scared to be honest got to call her after my scan on Wednesday aslong as everything is ok with my scan if all is good I'll book at 9 weeks can't decide if I want the scan to hurry up or not :(

Congrats on 12 weeks gail hope all goes well with your scan on Sunday :)

Happilymarried155 · 18/07/2014 10:59

I have a scan tommorow, I'm petrified. I thought seeing a heartbeat and a perfect little bean last time would put my mind at rest but obviously not. After feeling awful the last few days I feel normal today, whilst it's nice it's got me worrying that something's wrong. I'm hope as il be ten weeks tommorow everything will be all healthy and I will calm down abit! X

Alb1 · 18/07/2014 11:03

Congrats on 12 weeks gail it's a big milestone

Glad alls ok mrsg and you got a better consultant, still annoying about the other one, it's horrible how they try and play god with lives like that

ps am thinking of you today, hope you have lots of RL hugs and support.

Have my 34 week appointment mw appointment, the baby is still the wrong way, will they start to care about that now? Up till now the mw has jus laughed every time n called him a naughty baby so I'm curious to no when they start to be bothered by it, I'm obviously glad it's not a worry yet, I'm jus curious cos id deffiently refuse ECV but the idea of a ceaserian terrifies me so I'd like some time to get my head around if it's gona be a real possibility...

Cakebaker35 · 18/07/2014 13:21

Great news mrsg just shows there are some great people out there in the medical profession that do do their jobs well! you were so unlucky to have that horrible consultant.

psmith thinking of you today x

So another day and another bleed, I've been keeping a record and that's now 12 bleeds in 13 and a bit weeks, just nuts. Called epu who want me to have another scan on tues, which will be a week since the last one. I'd so hoped by reaching the 12 wk point things would've calmed down but it seems we are destined to have a really trying time with this pregnancy. Feel like I'm living day to day at the moment and not able to plan anything because I don't know if I'll have another bleed/another scan etc, just hate this so much. Sorry for the woe is me stuff, just totally fed up today. If I make it to Jan and have a healthy baby at the end of this I promise to never complain about anything ever again!

Cakebaker35 · 18/07/2014 13:26

alb1 meant to say, I'm not sure at what point they start to care about the baby being in the right position but from memory it was around that point with dd. She was breech but did turn so it's not too late. Also please try not to worry about a c section, I ended up having an emergency one with dd, the lead up to it was terrifying due to traumatic labour but the section itself was calm, the staff amazing and I recovered well. Try to focus on the lovely aorta which is you will soon meet your lovely new baby and how he/she arrives into the world really doesn't matter so long as you're both well xxx

Cakebaker35 · 18/07/2014 13:27

Aorta?!!?! Spell check gone made!! That should say part!

Cakebaker35 · 18/07/2014 13:27

And again - mad!

Babytinx11 · 18/07/2014 13:57

cake I don't know if it helps any but when my best friend had her little boy last year she was having very much the same as you she bled until 16 weeks and then it just stopped and her lb is perfectly healthy :)

Cakebaker35 · 18/07/2014 14:58

Thanks baby it does help to hear positive stories like that. As I said to the consultant what would really help though is a time machine so I can fast forward to Jan Grin

SeaSaltMill · 18/07/2014 15:08

Little update! Had my second reassurance scan today and baby has grown! It has arms and legs and was wriggling about! Amazing. The midwife let us video it on my phone too!
So I'm now 8+5. This is the furthest I've got with an actual baby in there. So happy!
Got another scan in just over 3 weeks, I'll be 12+1 and then my 12 weeks scan is the following week, I will be 13+3. Don't know how I will wait this long!

Babytinx11 · 18/07/2014 16:06

cake I know the feeling with the time machine need mine to take me to March though lol :)

sea fab news about your scan :)

Does anyone have any idea what I should see next week? I'll be 7+2

Happilymarried155 · 18/07/2014 16:21

I had a scan at 7+2 and saw a little kidney bean shape with a big heartbeat :) we got to hear the heartbeat too. It was amazing!

That's fab sea I hope my scan is such as good news tommorow!!! It's such a relief to see them isn't it!
