nerdy how exciting!! Good luck!! Not long now till you will be having newborn snuggles :-)

squitz I'm in 3rd trimester too, a few days apart if I recall, and I've defiantly noticed an upswing in the discharge recently, to the point I've had to change liner during the day. Midwife said to me it's not waters or anything, but one one the joys of pregnancy. How glamorous it all is haha x

fedupofrainydays · 01/07/2014 19:32

I'm 25 weeks and had loads of discharge too. Sometimes it's a bit gushy and has me in a state but when go to the loo it's obviously just cm. Sorry if tmi!

fedupofrainydays · 01/07/2014 19:36

Ps. Pleased to hear good news from tiger and cake!!

Anyone know when nerdy was actually due? Nerdy? You chickened out of adding yourself to the stats!!

Cakebaker35 · 01/07/2014 20:21

Good luck nerdy! Maybe you should name your dc after the electrician?! Grin

Thanks for the good wishes all x

squitza I had soooo much discharge when pregnant with dd, I've never got through so many panty liners Blush oh the joys eh Smile

fedupofrainydays · 01/07/2014 22:19

nerdy I think is booked in at same hospital as me.... Now wondering if she's in the brand new MW led unit.... Testing it out!

blankfornames · 01/07/2014 22:54

Best of luck Nerdy!
Cake, I'm feeling really reassured by your post. I've been bleeding for a week now (rainbow of colours!) and have a private scan booked for this day next week. I'll be 7+5 then.
Tiger, congrats on your scan!

silverine · 01/07/2014 23:38

Hi gang! I feel so reassured to be part of this first trimester freakout club! I thi k it's so sad that onde we've been through the experience of mc we are then so scarred and have the constant worry of anything going wrong rather than celebrating being pg... Sad

seasalt and g&t so nice we are having scans on the same day. Let's hope it is all more reassuring. blank I know what you mean about the symptoms. I was worried my boobs weren't swelling up until a couple of days ago, forgetting it's still very early days. Also feeling ridiculously exhausted.

london thanks for the reassurance about the stabby pains. They are only occasional and the reason I've not gone to a&e yet is because surely for ectopic they'd be more constant. Glad to hear your pg is progressing nicely. I remember you from the threat when I was last here.

badgers glad to hear your doctor was so nice and you have mw booked already. Hope your scan will be soon enough too. I saw the same nurse today that I saw with my last early mc. She was also nice, asking how dh and I are, and sent for mw referal. Fx will be before we go away on 11th.

Ellis hope your 12 week scan goes well next tue too. It will come quickly enough! cake great

silverine · 01/07/2014 23:39

cake Great news about the scan to

silverine · 01/07/2014 23:40

Apologies, don't know it keeps posting too early. Where are you based? Where do they do these £50 private scans?

silverine · 01/07/2014 23:41

Good luck nerdy!

NerdyBird · 02/07/2014 00:20

Quick update, baby girl born at 20.47 weighing 6lb 5. No name yet. We seem to be ok. I am paranoidly checking her breathing every other minute while she sleeps. Still in hospital for now x

Davidtennantmistress · 02/07/2014 06:48

Ellis, glad the ale has worked, I may need to partake as well, although I'm trying not to be obvious in work as with my mmc in sept I was a wreck had two weeks off and every time I entered the office I was in floods of tears, only time my emotionally switched off boss actually showed some sympathy and compassion.

It's moved on so much this thread I need to keep up with you all!

Badgers how are you?

Squiz, as the others said we are not medical. Trust what your team is telling you, sometimes doctor Google is a curse, my very helpful dr receptionist told me I had dor, naturally I googled and well I had myself written off as a lost cause and never having another one, so I say trust doctors not even their receptionists, if there's not at least a seven year degree certificate on their wall, don't listen to them.

Hi silver I'm approx 6+ weeks! Seems like I've known forever as found out about three weeks ago! early tester! Welcome

Gail, ahem I'm behind you and already my trousers are tight, not good not good at all!

London, I fully sympathise with you completely, to have ones thunder stolen isn't nice, how far are you/sil, have you shared your news yet? This is something I've never admitted but, my sil was much the same as yours, full of I'm amazing I can have children we catch so easy etc etc etc and all the while I was having mc after mc and struggling, anyhow, I had a 5 wk cm last April time, she caught in the May, I was devastated thankfully mum was fantastic and acted as negotiator, anyhow we caught again, and I found out on the day sil was rushed into hospital with a mmc at 10 weeks. Like you I'd never wish it on anyone and hubs said the same but likewise and this sounds awful as least after she appreciated where I was at with it all. For well until about a month ago we reached an easy truce especially as she's had two chem pgs since, although now of course no ones had it as bad as she has etc etc, what I'm trying to say is you're very normal and justified if it is how you are feeling. Take good care of yourself and it will work out in the wash, maybe your hubs needs to mention how insensitive it is to go on. Although I know for is sil is very jealous of the relationship I have with my mum, so as much as she tried mum gets torn at times.

Davidtennantmistress · 02/07/2014 06:49

Nerdy, how lovely congratulations. Xxx

I'm going to give it until Friday and if I've heard nothing ring epu/my doctor ref my referral as it will have been two weeks since she arranged my going there apparently. If not we will be looking for a private scan next week.

blankfornames · 02/07/2014 07:07

Congrats Nerdy! Such lovely news! Hope you are both doing well!

MrsGiraffe12 · 02/07/2014 07:32

Cakebaker35 · 02/07/2014 08:16

Huge congratulations nerdy Flowers

silverline I'm in Oxfordshire. First scan was £120 then each one after is £50 (for the same preg obviously). It is a fantastic place with a brilliant Dr who does all the scans herself and is an expert in fetal medicine. If you're anywhere near then pm me for details - and anyone else for that matter, I can't recommend her highly enough.

silverine · 02/07/2014 08:21

Hi david I found out last mon and only 4+5 today. It really drags...
Where are you based? The homerton in London accept self-referral with prev mcs.
Congrats nerdy! X

TeaRex · 02/07/2014 08:24

Great news nerdy :) hope you're enjoying lovely cuddles with your brand new daughter and you're back home soon :) x

silverine · 02/07/2014 08:24

Thanks for the details cake! Will try that self referral place first and see how things go.

BadgersInTheSlurryLagoon · 02/07/2014 08:37

I leave the thread for a few hours and it all gets exciting! Nerdy - woo-hoo, congratulations Grin Thread babies give us all hope - I'm feeling really happy now after that.

Cake - Dr Who does the scans?! Can you then time travel 9 months ahead and cut out all this bloody waiting? Now THAT would be a service worth paying for.... Shame I'm in Cornwall.

MrsG can you add me: BadgersInTheSlurryLagoon, 1MMC, 2MC, EDD 24 Feb. Thanks!
