Hi tannyloo - I too remember you from the RM thread - great to see you have a bfp and have everything crossed for you!

fishcake congratulations!! Lovely news (even with that 'something else' labour! Grin

Davidtennantmistress · 27/06/2014 17:53

Congrats fish cake how fabulous.

Does anyone else have spouts of nausea? I'm literally having about three or four a day getting stronger each time, usually helped by food but current one isn't shifting. :( approx 6 weeks ish Monday I think) no news from epru on scan so guess I'll have to wait for my gone apt and see if they will do a cheeky early scan then.

Cakebaker35 · 27/06/2014 19:47

to tannyloo I remember you from another thread! great to see you here.

david yes to bouts of nausea! yuck. Only thing that helped me was constant eating of ritz crackers, and I mean pretty constant Blush not happening so much now I'm just over 10wks but of course that's also making me stress about disappearing symptoms cos I'm a crazy

Davidtennantmistress · 27/06/2014 20:23

:-( I'm going with toast, however given I had all but given up bread and refined carbs it's proving not too good. Plus will be obvious in teh office lol.

MrsGiraffe12 · 27/06/2014 21:01

fish many congratulations!! I love hearing about a tread babies arrival, it makes me remember not to give up hope ever, and also, bumps me one step closer to me bein too I stats :-) x

QuietTiger · 28/06/2014 11:33

liesal79- not going to fish slap you as I am in exactly the same boat. Grin

I'm now 14 weeks and I had a really positive scan on Wednesday night,so no reason to think that in 48 hours anything has changed. Yesterday I completely overdid it - I was knocked over by our ram in the field when I was feeding the sheep, then I spent 3 hours putting up electric fence for the horses.

Last night, (TMI alert) I found some blood when I wiped when I went to the toilet and I was crampy. I duly panicked. Told DH in tears. Then I realised that the blood was because of a cut I had on my leg when I got stuck in the brambles trying to extract a sheep yesterday morning. Blush

DH has banned me from sheep for the forseeable future, as well as lectured me at length about taking it easy... not a simple thing on a farm! I have been VERY lazy this morning though. DH got up at 6am and I was still in bed when he came down for late breakfast at 10am!

BadgersInTheSlurryLagoon · 28/06/2014 14:10

Fish slapping needed here this morning. I've got backache and a VERY close examination of CM reveals that it has a faint beige tinge to it. DH suggests the backache may be the result of a recent chiropractic adjustment and 10 hours in bed. I haven't discussed the almost brown CM with him... I know I'm being paranoid but I can't help it. Especially as I decided to POAS last night and the line was MUCH stronger than it was on Monday, so clearly it jad been doing some developing.

BadgersInTheSlurryLagoon · 28/06/2014 14:11

*had. Bloody phone!

Alb1 · 28/06/2014 16:23

badgers iv had a few tints like that, and nothing's ever come of it so far! Il only give a gentle fish slap tho as I'm 31 weeks and I'm still checking n worrying about cm all the time so I can't really talk!

quiet glad ur taking it easy today, I can imagine it must be hard taking it easy on a farm, I'm very envious, I'd love to live on a farm!

I havnt told anyone this in RL as I find it embarrassing so I need to make my confession somewhere... I have a non food craving, I crave tissue, as in like toilet tissue (clean obviously) have been doing for a few weeks now, it's driving me nuts! But there I have confessed to someone atlast haha

TeaRex · 28/06/2014 16:34

alb that's called pica, when you crave non good stuff. Let your midwife know, probably nothing wrong at all but I think some cravings may indicate vit deficiency. Not trying to stress you out as apparently it's quite common (a friends mum are coal when pregnant with her :/ ) but worth mentioning at your next appt x

TeaRex · 28/06/2014 16:48

God, sorry alb just re-read your post, think you know what it is Grin ignore me x

QuietTiger · 28/06/2014 17:52

Have just told my best friend we're having a girl - she is going to be a "godmother". I told her that DH had suggested we called our DD "Clamydia Aphrodite"...

BF (who is a biologist) has suggested we call her "Pasteurella Venus" instead...

This child has no hope! Grin

fedupofrainydays · 28/06/2014 22:46

Tissue?! Random!!! Do you eat it??? Heard about the coal thing a few times that does signify deficiency in something but can't remember what.
I've only had food and suddenly love certain smells.

badgers I'm 25 weeks and still religiously checks cm and the loo paper / knickers all day every day. I don't think it ever goes away. And mine has been all sorts of yellow, clear, greeny, beige too. But all been ok so far.

tiger take it easy!! Aren't you supposed to avoid sheep too? Or is that an old wives tale thing? You post made me laugh as I had a similar thing re the blood in my first trimester but the worst was rogue red fluff that always seemed to get in my pants. Cue heart attack. Blush

CorporeSarnie · 28/06/2014 23:42

Oh . Pink cm. A decent amount of it. Had an evening wedding do to go to and DD was so excited, so put on a brave face, but still going on. Called MAU, unless there is discomfort or fresh blood they are not worried. But am terrified. 22w today, so still far short of viable. DH doing the whole 'stressing out won't help' number, which isn't helping.

Gwlondon · 28/06/2014 23:46

Fishcake77 congratulations! Enjoy!

Welcome tannyloo and hollyben.

AddictedToRadley · 29/06/2014 06:02

Room for another? I was on another thread but every time I posted nobody answered so was getting paranoid that I was invisible Blush

I'm 8wks today and have had several MCs so am trying unsuccessfully to keep calm and enjoy being pregnant. I had a scan at 5wks by satan's assistant who caused me to start bleeding. Thankfully all was ok and I went to EPU for a scan at 6+4 and saw a heart beat Grin

I'll have scans every 2 weeks because of my serious health issues and because of recurrent MCs. Next scan is 3rd July and I can't wait. The 2 week wait is a killer so don't know how others cope with just two scans in their entire pregnancy - it'd drive me screwy!

I am on tinzaparine injections (same as clexane really) and 5mg folic acid because of the RMCs and my health.

Can someone please add my details:
37, 1 x DS age 5.7 years, 13 MCs inc DS's twin, TTC DC2 for 5 years

Good luck everyone. Sending sticky baby dust to all.

blankfornames · 29/06/2014 08:18

Congrats fishcake, lovely news! Hope you are both doing really well!
I just had a bit of a scare & wondered if any of you have experienced this. Sorry for the tmi early of a Sunday morning! I'm 6+4 and have been spotting with a pale brown dc since last Tuesday. I've had a manic week with work, and last night had a small gush of very dark red blood. Lasted a few minutes. I had no cramping or anything like I had last time when I mc. This morning, after I wiped, it was dark brown, almost black. Still have no cramping and was up to pee 3 times in the night..so seems like everything is nearly normal. I'm due to see my gp tomorrow but wanted some reassurance before that. Has this happened to anyone else?
Again sorry for the tmi. Thanks

AddictedToRadley · 29/06/2014 09:25

blank it's certainly never happened for me like that with any of my 13 MCs so hopefully it's just implantation bleeding, although admittedly a severe form. FX things are ok with the GP tomorrow.

HollyBen · 29/06/2014 09:34

How is it going this morning corpore?

Seems a good sign if it has stopped blank. Hopefully the GP can provide some reassurance tomorrow.

Welcome addicted that's quite some journey you have been on. I haven't been here long but found everyone to be really lovely.w

I am in denial I think. I am still temping and carrying on as normal. I have my pos stick in a drawer by my bed and have to look at it once a day. I think it is my way of coping.Still better than freaking out at everything I guess - though I am sure that'll come soon

amicablemoomin · 29/06/2014 09:38

Hi radley, welcome.

corpore how are you today?

AddictedToRadley · 29/06/2014 09:46

Hi Holly and Amicable well that's a huge improvement on the other group Wink I'm not feeling invisible anymore :) yeah! :)

Hoping all those who've been bleeding have stopped now and baby's are all tucked up until 38-42 weeks

CorporeSarnie · 29/06/2014 09:55

Some more pink cm this morning, seems to come and go a bit. Think getting up 'released' some iyswim. Have felt a few movements from baby, so trying to be positive. Why do these things always happen at the weekend? Will call my GP in the morning, as whilst I appreciate this is not a full emergency situation, I need more reassurance than a MW's thoughts being relayed to me over the phone. Feel like relaxing after the scan was a mistake.
Thinking of those going through uncertainty. Fingers crossed for good outcomes for all of us.

CorporeSarnie · 29/06/2014 10:01

On a more positive note, I have just watched my belly button being moved from the inside :) looks like minisarnie is awake for now.

squizita · 29/06/2014 11:13

Corp hope its just a little cervical bleed. I had some after straining to poo - could it be that?

Just a quick wave to all. Birthday weekend and chaperoned a school event Friday night so am knackered! At least I can blame pregnancy and not my ancientness!!
DH bought me a soft toy for future mini squiz. Had a minor wobble as someone on the Hughes Syndrome FB page commented on a 30+week loss and I got all "jinx" about it. Must remember mine is MANAGED and regularly scanned! And toys don't jinx. :)
I also got new trainers and a thermos flask. So rock n roll!

BadgersInTheSlurryLagoon · 29/06/2014 11:31

Oh bugger - brown cm, bad backache and some cramping for me this morning. This is exactly how all my mcs have started so not much optimism from this badger today. At least I already have a doctor's appointment on Tues so will push for a referral to get some more investigations done - this will be my 4th. Starting to panic now though as DH and I only have until Feb before we get posted to the opposite ends of the country again for a few more years, and I'm 37 now so time is rapidly running out.
