I'm 35 weeks and driving myself crazy! I'm so uncomfortable and this heat isn't helping. I'm constantly expanding, my jeans are getting too tight but it seems silly to buy anymore now.

I just want him out, he must be just about big enough by now!

Anyone else feeling the same?

Once again congratulations!

Been very period painy all day with very irregular tightenings. They were pretty painful too. Closest they have been was every 4mins. Getting 1 at least in an hour

ch1a · 06/07/2014 21:39

All sounds amazing roseberry! Monsters you must be next....Hope things are progressing well.

gotagoldtoof · 06/07/2014 21:58

Hi all. I am 40+4 and absolutely fed up now. I am hoping you can keep me company in the last few days as I pray that this baby gets the hell out of me - I am now truly bored of being pregnant!

Congrats roseberry, your birth sounds incredible!

ilovemonstersInc · 06/07/2014 23:11

Ch1a im 32 weeks with a baby elephant lol. I wouldn't mind being next if he will be ok
mum thinks ive got my dates wrong as hes measuring 41 weeks!

Got welcome to the group. Im another newbie to the thread.

Iwillorderthefood · 07/07/2014 10:42

Wow Roseberry that is amazing congratulations.

AlwaysDancing1234 · 07/07/2014 15:14

Brilliant news Roseberry sounds a lot like mine!
Congratulations!
The rest of you still waiting, thinking of you, hang on in there!

Huffpot · 07/07/2014 16:30

Sounds like an amazing birth Roseberry! I hope mine takes notes

I'm officially overdue now and have had an awful stitch in my right hand side most of the day but definitely not labour starting I would say - just baby being awkward!

I have a midwife appointment on Wednesday but am going to decline a sweep until the following week and hope baby holds on for my parents arriving from Australia. They've never seen me pregnant or been here when I have a baby. They got here 3 days's after DS2 was born and that is the freshest they've seen one of my babies so would be so lovely to have them here

Hope everyone is keeping well!

Iwillorderthefood · 07/07/2014 18:13

Hope you hold out huff.

I have been managing to breastfeed! No idea if this situation will continue, but at least it looks likely that baby Iwill will have at least 4 weeks breastmilk. This looked impossible last week. Although, the thrush is still there so the issue hadn't gone away.

Ilove measuring so big must be exhausting. Are you planning to deliver early? By which I mean has your midwife discussed this?

ilovemonstersInc · 07/07/2014 19:26

Im fully under consultant led care so no community mw and I see consultant on Wednesday. It bloody is exhausting!

ilovemonstersInc · 07/07/2014 19:27

4 weeks is brilliant! Any amount of bm is brilliant so well done

AlwaysDancing1234 · 08/07/2014 09:15

Iwill brilliant that you are still managing to BF despite all the issues. I'm breastfeeding DD and it's now day 5 so breasts are HUGE! DD has mild to tongue tie so sometimes painful for me when latching on but she's feeding loads and happy in between etc so not causing her any problems thank goodness.
Huff you must be the only one wanting bsby to stay in rather than come out right now! Hope baby obliges and waits til your parents arrive

Huffpot · 08/07/2014 09:38

I think so Always although am debating the wisdom somewhat as the hour walking a day on the school run is killing me and I'm so slow and sore!
At least all the exercise means that baby should just pop out!

AlwaysDancing1234 · 08/07/2014 10:27

That's true Huff! I walked miles weds last week and she was born Thursday so I think it helped!

RoseberryTopping · 08/07/2014 15:18

Wow Iwill, you must be so proud of yourself! Are the doctors still trying to get rid of the thrush? I know they can be a bit rubbish about stuff like that sometimes.

I'm starting to know how you feel about huge, sore breasts always, milk has started to come in now and they're getting really tender. He can't feed enough for my liking! Have you got some lansinoh for your nips? Might help with the soreness.

Corr monsters, that is big! Has he always measured that far ahead or is it just a recent thing? They should really be sending you for a scan with that difference in dates. You poor thing, no wonder you are fed up. Have your tightenings died down now?

I hope so Always! I've walked about 1.5 hours today so should be like a champagne cork popping off when it arrives

I'm dreading the sore boobs with feeding and am hoping that help is more accessible this time so I can give it a proper crack

Poor monsters!

Iwillorderthefood · 08/07/2014 18:06

Hi Roseberry I have been through about three tubes of it since she was born! I am hoping that sometime soon the thrush will go away and we will be totally established.

miller599 · 08/07/2014 21:18

I'm only 6 weeks gone and already I'm feeling tired, drained, hungry, less motivated to do things. I'm at the stage now where I want it all to be over. I've got approx 20-24 weeks left (dd born at 24 weeks, dn born 28 weeks) very likely this baby will be following suit. Some people really enjoy pregnancy but I really cannot wait for it to be over.

AlwaysDancing1234 · 09/07/2014 08:19

Roseberry I think I will give the lanisoh a try , thanks. My normally D cup boobs currently resemble basket balls!!

Iwillorderthefood · 09/07/2014 10:18

Without lansinoh I would not be breast feeding. The investment is worth it!

Huffpot · 09/07/2014 16:50

saw the midwife today and no mention of the sweep and they've booked me into the hospital for next Tuesday afternoon. ..the same day my parents arrive!
Apparently I only get one sweep before induction as its not my first baby...first time I've heard that so looks like it will be curry and pineapple next Tuesday if it doesn't do anything!

seasaltbaby · 09/07/2014 18:44

Also highly recommend the laniosh-couldn't have survived early days without it! Don't use it much now, just their breast pads, still got v leaky boobsShock
Hang in there huff, hope u make it to see your parents!

ilovemonstersInc · 09/07/2014 20:48

had some bleeding last night so came straight in. They sent me2 delivery due to contractions. Baby no longer transverse hes head down was back to back but ok no but dont know howlong for!
Had2 scans. Im 32weeks + hes measuring 36weeks.had 1 injection will have another tonight.

Ive lost plug now but been moved to maternity ward as they are trying to stop contractions with tablets which does for an hour or so but then they are back 10x worse.

Still getting good contractions now plan is watch and see if I labour asl in latent labour at 32 weeks.

seasaltbaby · 09/07/2014 21:51

Ooh goodness ilovemonsters-sounds like it might not be too long now! Hope all goes ok & you're coping with the contractions, good luck!!

Iwillorderthefood · 10/07/2014 05:20

Good luck ilove hope you get to have the second injection.

ilovemonstersInc · 10/07/2014 06:32

Had second injection.

Just woke up from the diamorphine. Was brilliant!
