Welcome back, are you all nice and brown?

SpringChicken · 03/04/2004 17:00

Not overly but have a better colour than before i went which is always a bonus

Was a complete ngithmare trying to tan my back - had to lay right on my left side to the right side of my back and vice versa - must've lookied like a rigth wally on my sun lounger

The dilemmas of life eh Jems!! Glad you had a great time!!!! I'm like a house too! I went for lunch today and nipped in the disbaled bog in the restaurant. The barman was there when I came out and pointed out that my toilet was nextdoor! I turned round and said 'Have you ever tried getting into one of your cubicles when you're this size'!!! He apologised and said he would be better keeping his mouth shut next time!!

Hello all - glad to hear things going well. I am also the size of a house and convinced I'm getting pelvic dislocation. (Could just be because I saw a friend a couple of weeks ago who had it). My pelvis feels achy a lot and sometimes it's painful turning over in bed.

This baby is kicking so hard now! Another scan Thursday so I get to say hello again! Going to have to put DS in the big bed soon as I can't lift him out of the cot much longer!

SpringChicken · 04/04/2004 11:47

How come you are having another scan Freddie?? Wish i could see my little wriggler again just to see how much he or she has changed.
Can't believe the next time i am going to see him is when he is here causing havoc

Bet his face was a picture Quacks

littlerach · 06/04/2004 17:13

How is everyone?
Quacks, are you able to post from home?
Finding it even harder to get comfy at night now. Also had like a stitch last night, really uncomfortable.

Freddiecat · 06/04/2004 20:02

Having lots of scans due to me having a minor heart condition (fetal cardiac scans picked up DS's minor condition at 20 weeks). Also because DS was 9lb 2oz and 10 days overdue so if this one is big then they won't let me go over as it's likely to be bigger.

Scans all fine but the pelvic splitting thing is confirmed and I have a lovely support belt to wear. The physio suggested I should not spread my legs (as if) and to come back later if I need crutches!

bossykate · 06/04/2004 20:06

hi everyone

fc, i'm also convinced i've got mild (atm) SPD. had quite bad pelvic and pubic pain last week, but it is now much better. if it gets worse again, i will go to see the osteopath and see what s/he has to say...

hope everyone else is well.

madgirl · 07/04/2004 11:02

much sympathy to you spd sufferers- i got it at 32 weeks with ds and have been told there is a strong likelehood of my getting it again. lol freddiecat on not spreading my legs. dh has gone into decline as he thinks that's it now until the 2 months after birth! getting lots of movements all day now, but no kicking yet.

Quackers · 07/04/2004 11:32

Hi all! Littlerach, yes I'm now posting from home but have had visitors this week so been hard to log on!!

Yes it;s getting pretty uncomfortable at night too, although I'm using two big pillows which helps a bit!
Weight is starting to go on now, although it doesn't help when you've eaten out almost everyday this week!! DH and DD have now both felt baby kicking, which delighted them and she just loves putting her hand on my tummy waitng for it to kick. It's already learnt though not to respond on demand I think!

DD still hasn't felt it kick. She loves just to sing to it, and kisses it every morning. She is off to mum's for the weekend, and has said that when baby is here, I have to go to mum's, so she and DH can look after the baby and I can be looked after by mum!!!!! Sweet.
