For pregnant berries at any stage. Scary thought but this is the one where some babies will appear!

Crikey all your posts were before I'd woken up this morning. I love lie-ins Grin Wink

Aw boom that's really sweet of your sister, I'd love a pamper day!

Hope everyone is well!

PuppyMummy · 16/03/2014 11:04

I woke up at 6. booo! did manage another hour between 8&9 and was asleep by 10pm so not done too badly!

treating baby to hot choc and cake before I start a little shopping!

Tallyra · 16/03/2014 11:10

Gardening's almost impossible with a baby in the way!! I have contented myself with chopping the rosemary back and throwing the sticks in the air for the dog to catch. One of his favourite pastimes Grin

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/03/2014 11:17

Tally I discovered the exact same thing this week. I resorted to chopping back bits of overgrown hedges that are reachable from standing height!

Afternoon all.

I feel rough. Again. Am a total blob in bed with headache and no energy. Booooo

No brownies yet either- I want to get up and make some!

Re gardening- probably similar to DIY/decorating? I've been persevering but all the low down stuff takes ages in terms of manoeuvring.

tally I'm late to comment re home birth but I was told the same as the others have said. Basically home birth or birthing centre have the same criteria and you'll be closely monitored so any concerns they'll whisk you off just the same as being in a mlu but with more one to one attention

boom wtf were you doing being so active so early and where tf do you get your energy from?!

Boomgoestheweasel · 16/03/2014 12:49

Oooh thunder I might make some cherry brownies this afternoon...depends if I crash and burn after early start. I was only up because the dogs were headbutting the living room door to ask to go out, not because I wanted to be! Sorry you're feeling pants. Want me to send round some brownies?

Tally please come and sort out my hideous tangle of a garden! I was not blessed with green fingers, I loathe gardening but like sitting in the sunshine on a rug so need to do something about our wilderness!

Just cleared out the garage with Mr Boom, discovered washing machine has been secretly leaking into the foundations for god knows how long. Awesome - another job for the plumber while we're away methinks!

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday xxx

Tallyra · 16/03/2014 13:20

haha boom, I never said I was any good! I basically like chopping stuff up and throwing it around a bit for the dog. both the back and front gardens are now covered in buddleia and rosemary twigs respectively that I can occasionally throw around a bit more before the dog shreds them so they are too small to throw. the rest of the garden is a mystery to me Grin

Foodylicious · 16/03/2014 14:07

having done absolutely nothing all weekend I am now going out for lunch.
Will do the shopping on way home from work tomorrow and maybe some hoovering too.

Mmmm lunch Grin

Thunderpantsarego · 16/03/2014 15:52

I'm up! And I've bought chocolate so you are free to eat your brownies yourself boom (brownie Facebook pictures later?!)

Tallyra · 16/03/2014 16:18

I feel I have got my baby clothes washing rights back. our lovely neighbour who has six year old twins went up in the loft and found some baby clothes for us, and mil doesn't know they exist yet! I'm pretty sure they were washed before she handed them over but I didn't like the smell so I have finally got to wash some clothes ready for a hospital bag. its odd. I feel like mil is holding stuff hostage til she thinks we're ready for it, although I'm sure its all completely innocent!

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/03/2014 16:37

Tally how about asking if you can have it back as you want to spend next weekend doing an inventory of everything you've got in each size so you can figure if there's anything you still need? She can't say no surely...

OP posts:
Tallyra · 16/03/2014 17:50

no, but she'll probably just list it all for me! she has the cot, Moses basket, blankets and loads of other stuff too.

Boomgoestheweasel · 16/03/2014 18:15

Tally can't Mr Tally ask her for it back?

I've just had a massive breakdown and cried into the computer keyboard. Feeling a little bit lost and totally unprepared today and still horribly upset about this stupid section. See, just started crying again because I'd typed section, let alone had one! No idea how to make peace with it at all Sad. Someone tell me something funny or nice, sharpish - can't stand myself when I'm all self-pitying and pathetic!

No brownies thunder, was too busy running Mr Boom all over town, clearing out garage and crying...

Bunnygirlie · 16/03/2014 18:39

Did somebody say brownies?!?!?

I thought you were all talking about personal grooming rather than actual gardening

Put a blouse on today and it did not fit round my podgy tummy!!! Shock Dieted for pre-Christmas party and then I guess it all went wrong lol, few lbs over Christmas and then of course I have just been eating just about everything since new year! There is no hope Sad

Oh boom you poor pudding!I can't think of anything funny but I send hugs and Flowers

Tallyra · 16/03/2014 19:31

oh no boom! I've been feeling very teary recently too.
Something cute here - tallydog is sitting next to dh watching him eat his birthday pudding. he has no chance! but his eyes are so big and hard to refuse!

BlindKitty · 16/03/2014 20:13

Oh boom what is it that's bothering you most about c word? Brew

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/03/2014 20:17

Boom I have something interesting for you (although you may know it already). Have you heard about the purple bum line during labour?

OP posts:
BlearyeyedLol · 16/03/2014 20:37

Dr merk even I am intrigued about that one!!!
WTF is it???

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/03/2014 20:39

Evidently 3/4 of women get a purple line (coming up their back from their bum crack) the length of which corresponds to the number of cm dilated they are

OP posts:
Boomgoestheweasel · 16/03/2014 20:43

Ha good ol purple line! Yes I have and yes it does happen!

kitty I don't know really, maybe I just feel I'm missing out on a really important bit of the whole experience. I'll get over it eventually I expect..!

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/03/2014 20:48

It's not over yet Boom. Have you any more stick burning planned?

OP posts:
MotherOfCleo · 16/03/2014 20:52

boom I had an emcs and it was honestly ok, the spinal didnt hurt the recovery was quick and I got great after care. I cried when they told me I needed a section and even tried to refuse due to fear but I neednt have worried it was fine. I beat myself up for ages about being a 'failure' for not having him naturally but that was me being daft, creating and carrying them is far more important than how they arrive as far as I'm concerned Grin

Tallyra · 16/03/2014 21:04

Merkin, another Sunday has come and gone and still no mini merk. what gives? Grin

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/03/2014 21:14

Seems she is as stubborn as me. Goodness knows why she's staying in there, she seems pretty cramped as my bump is rock hard and all baby! Not a tightening in sight I'm afraid. You are all going to have babies before me Grin

OP posts:
BlindKitty · 16/03/2014 21:17

That's a good point tally, she's obviously not getting enough sex and curry Wink
