For pregnant berries at any stage. Scary thought but this is the one where some babies will appear!

Oh my god boom, expressing already??? I'm showing no signs of anything ever coming out of mine yet!!! Shock

Foodylicious · 14/03/2014 16:57

kitty you can get a nice bracelet and do the same with that instead if a Hair band. There is someone near us from a breast feeding support service that makes and sells some too. She also sells knitted boob key rings!

CatsCantFlyFast · 14/03/2014 18:02

Anybody got any nice plans this weekend?

Bunnygirlie · 14/03/2014 18:53

Helloooooo!

Had another meltdown at work today, was planning to talk to my boss (director) anyway about needing help as not coping well but as soon as he asked how I was the lip started to wobble! Ugh so embarrassing! He is the one who knows and he was very sweet.

charming I think I am going to take some days off, maybe 1 day a week for the next few weeks. How exciting to feel some movements!

poppy Jacket potatoes seem to work for me too. Odd really as I haven't been able to eat them in years because of my IBS sickness but thought I'd give them a go as I was feeling sick anyway lol.

Is it too late to start on pg vits? I have just been taking folic and vitamin c but bought some pregnacare today as cheaper than tesco version.

OMGoodness boom you can express before you've even had the babies?!?!?

Foodylicious · 14/03/2014 18:58

I take pregnacare every day bunny its never too late! (well night actually as I forget in the morning and take my other pills then too)

Mmm jacket potatoes, must get some this weekend, maybe with cheese and a couple of sausages Smile

BlindKitty · 14/03/2014 20:11

charming it's an amazing feeling isn't it?!almosy makes a a tiny bit sad that she won't be inside me got much longer to do it (I know, weird!)

boom so will the colostrum be in the bottles then or does that not get released until you give birth? I'm panicking a bit I'm going to leak during sex now! My Dh is pretty squeamish!

So my bump is starting to look like she's sideways as she doesn't seem as high as before. Does anyone know when that an issue?

Boomgoestheweasel · 14/03/2014 20:49

bunny sorry you're having a rough time. Glad you boss is being sweet though!

kitty it's colostrum I'm expressing, it won't be in bottles as even my wonderboobs aren't producing that much! I've got quite a lot in 1ml syringes and will start storing in ice cube trays soon I think. Ideally I won't have to use it but nice to have back up! I haven't leaked during sex so far, at least not so I've noticed... Blush

And you probably don't have to worry about position until about 36weeks. I'm only fretting so early on because they're jammed in there like sardines so don't move easily from their positions!

Tallyra · 14/03/2014 22:06

so jealous of you all having sex. I was too ill at the beginning and now the SPD has made us scared to go there. we've only DTD about twice since conception Sad

Bunnygirlie · 14/03/2014 22:18

Bloody Nora are these pregnacare pessaries or tablets, they're huge!!! Can I take my normal folic too?

boom yep he's awesome. I think it's coz he has many many children and his staff are all nutty kids lol

Sex?!? Too scared to do it and not fussed at all, it's all tarnished fom the heartache of TTC.

CatsCantFlyFast · 14/03/2014 23:17

There's folic in the pregnacare so you don't need to take any more on top

OP posts:
Foodylicious · 15/03/2014 00:04

Sex??? Just the once for us successfully since conception. OH is coping very well, and I have probably told you before that I joke with him that he has had more sex in the 2 years ttc than many men get in a life time! especially when I think back to the 'every day for 3 weeks'months.phew, making the mist of resting now though I do miss the idea of it sometimes, when it comes to it I am just not interested. Too preoccupied with everything else my body is doing grin

CatsCantFlyFast · 15/03/2014 05:15

Boom how are the boobs getting on? I seem to remember you being concerned but sounds as though they're 'working'?

On a separate question, would you consider a vb if one of the twins is/was breech?

OP posts:
Boomgoestheweasel · 15/03/2014 06:38

Ha just to be clear, there is sex going on but not very often, I'm too tired and it's getting logistically difficult!

merk boobs are great on the milk production front, I feel very reassured that they work! Nipples still massively inverted which is my next hurdle but have got nipple shields at the ready and think once I start pumping that might pull them out a bit. Vb wise, no I wouldn't if twin 1 stays breech, mainly because the risk of interlocking twins, which even though it's rare just terrifies me. If it was a breech singleton I'd go for vb definitely, and if twin2 is breech that's fine too.

Thunderpantsarego · 15/03/2014 08:34

boom am very impressed with the expressing. I can get a few droplets now and then here but sounds like you are on fire with those puppies!

What's vb? I'm guessing we're not talking Australian beer here

No sex here recently- don't think DH fancies thunderbump Sad

New weird pregnancy symptoms- nipples of fire (OUCH) and dribbling in sleep... Proper drool fest. How gross.

Thunderpantsarego · 15/03/2014 08:35

Ohh vaginal birth?

BlindKitty · 15/03/2014 09:04

boom oh I imagined you having a full milk bank in the freezer! Still very responsible of you. So if we start to leak, should we all do that or will we product more at birth?

That's reassuring about the position. Prefer it when she was round though as now I just feel fat haha!

tbh 'business time' has been a bit scarce for several weeks in the kitty household! We've just been so busy. Hoping Dh will put out this morning though haha! Think he's on the same page though as he was very erm annoying borderline rapey in his sleep last night--

wouldn't worry too much though if you don't fancy it now, you won't be pregnant forever and then we'll be on permanent shah weeks again for baby#2 however, rediscovering 'sex for fun' was almost like discovering oil!

CatsCantFlyFast · 15/03/2014 11:04

39 weeks and just got my first stretch marks. Purple, nasty and above my belly button :(

OP posts:
Boomgoestheweasel · 15/03/2014 11:30

Aww booo Merk, what a bummer! They'll fade though, I'm covered in them from being a fatty as a teenager and I don't even notice them now, they're just really thin little silver lines x

Thunderpantsarego · 15/03/2014 12:15

Oh bugger merk. I've been keeping an eye on a suspicious patch just above belly button too.

So was I right with vb?

BlindKitty · 15/03/2014 12:33

I've religiously applied bio-oil but don't know if there's actually a point!

CatsCantFlyFast · 15/03/2014 13:44

Yes about vb

I spotted them last night when we were watching tv, it was dark in the room and my skin looked shiny. This morning they were bright purple. I had loads as a kid too but they haven't really ever disappeared, it may be cos I'm pale that they stand out years later. I'm just being vain I know but having put on quite a lot of weight (for me), with my ab muscles totally separated, stretch marks all over my boobs (which rest on my bump) and now on my tummy I'm not really feeling the best about myself

OP posts:
Thunderpantsarego · 15/03/2014 13:45

No I don't think it really prevents stretch marks kitty but good for itchy/dry stretching skin. Seems that they're either going to get you or they're not.

Boomgoestheweasel · 15/03/2014 14:39

Aw merk. Well I saw your bump photo the other day and I think you look stunning! If it makes you feel better I have a totally separated rectus sheath, my tummy looks vile when I try to sit up in the bath. Reckon the gap's about 5inches, niiiice. I've definitely got a new stretch-mark where my belly ring was, the rest of me has escaped so far but like I say I used to be a lot bigger so I suspect I'm pre-stretched. Boobs are definitely moving down to meet the upcoming bump too! Nothing but glamour eh?

thunder glad you were right about vb, when you asked I suddenly wondered if it was 'Victoria beckham' and some sort of slang for a section!
