For pregnant berries at any stage. Scary thought but this is the one where some babies will appear!

No nap today. I was at the hospital from 9.00 til nearly 1.00 with dh waiting for all the different things they wanted to do. Pre op talk, bloods, anaesthetist talk and second dose of steroids. Yes, it stings, but it's not much worse than what I was having when I was in for hyperemesis. We then got home and spent the afternoon putting the vinyl design on the baby's wall. Dh stuck and I directed, getting more and more tired and bad at saying the right words. Just sat down at the telly and ordered Indian takeaway as the kitchen is such a mess I nearly started crying when I thought of tidying it up, then realised the meat was still frozen.

32 weeks here, all good. bump is massive! only a week til easter hols, yippee!

have had some more great clothes off ebay this week, it is a bit hit and miss though.
Bump is feeling pretty big (30 weeks on sunday) and have officially put on 2 stone (maybe a bit more!)

Getting on with a bit more painting this weekend

Had a look at night lights boom will have to get one, had not even thought of getting one before, such a good idea!
Found some cheaper bedside cots on ebay, but not sure - what do you think??

Quite like the look of that one Foody. I guess the reason the NCT one is so expensive is that it doubles as a playpen whereas this is obviously one function only..it looks good though. I wonder if it would fit twinnies...

Bunny I farted horrifically throughout pregnancy, and towards the end it is, as Boom described it, baby controlled. Would like to say its stopped now but....

Tally I don't know if you've got syringes but remember the quantities of colostrum you can expect to express are teeny tiny. I was told on average a woman can express 1ml in 30 to 40 mins, but that's an average and takes practise
Bedside 3 sided crib has saved our sanity here as E would NOT go in the Moses basket to sleep

Thanks Merk. I'm not expecting much, just would like to prove there's something in there! I do have a couple of unopened vets syringes I could use if I am successful though. (Of course I'll sterilise them too first).

I'm slightly worried here. Yesterday and increasingly today my lower back had been getting more and more sore and twingey. I hope that if it is labour setting in it can wait til Monday. I have no desire for an emcs at the weekend, I know how short staffed the ward is at the weekend!

merk when in hospital I was really worried H wasn't feeding properly, he just wouldn't latch properly despite hours of help from what seemed like hundreds of midwives, I asked to express and they told me I have to hand express and collect it in syringes as I would likely only get one mil. They returned to find I had filled 3 x 1 mil syringes and 1 x 5 mil syringe....turns out my massive boobs were rather effective but H still didn't like them. Sorry not exactly sure what my point is?

Basically everyone is different and you may even find you get more from one boob than the other. Don't worry if you can't get anything though! Baby will manage just fine.

foody puppy I've put on 2 stone too! Doesn't seem to anywhere other than my bump yet though so praying I won't have too much residual tubbiness having just devoured the best Chinese takeaway ever

had some good news today, one of my friends went in for induction last sunday and I had not heard anything since. Obviously I was hoping all was weel and they were having some time to themselves - turns out they had a baby boy on Thursday (after a bit of hooha), both are well and hoping to be discharged home tomorrow. Phew, what a relief!

I got the babybay in the end, it was £££ and I'm not certain what the extra money paid for over the cheaper ones on eBay or amazon tbh but we are happy with it.

Mother I was also able to hand express pretty quickly (not that fast tho). Tally they did stress some people can't express but still are able to breastfeed just fine, a baby is much more efficient at getting milk

Tally are they going to rescan you before the section?
