For pregnant berries at any stage. Scary thought but this is the one where some babies will appear!

Oh angel poor you! Glad everything is Ok though - I can't offer any advice as I haven't had this. Brew I guess you're to keep an eye on things, and let them know if it gets worse / continues?

Angelina77 · 03/04/2014 14:52

Thanks brod yes, they said to go back if it gets worse. I hope they don't have my card marked as a massive wuss now Blush

Brodicea · 03/04/2014 15:21

I think they like you to come in if you're worried, just to be checked - it's better to be safe than sorry!

jessplussomeonenew · 03/04/2014 15:25

Angel, that sounds really stressful but I'm glad things seem to be ok. I had ligament stretching pains (sudden stabbing sensations low in my abdomen) which were scary but went away after a few days - obviously I'm earlier in pregnancy than you but I think it can happen any time. Is that the sort of stretching you had?

Foodylicious · 03/04/2014 15:55

Glad your a bit better now angel I have been to the mat assessment a couple of time, last time because it literally felt as though somthing was trying to come out of my cervix or something any just felt very, very wrong (and painful). I was fine, baby was fine, just using my cervix as a trampoline. I have had them since and try anything to get baby in a different position. All fours hip circles are good or just lying down changing sides alot.
When are you due? I don't think you are on the list. I will have 10 weeks to go on Sunday, eek!

Bunnygirlie · 03/04/2014 16:03

Well that was a complete waste of time, at the hospital for an hour and saw the consultant and nurse for all of 5 mins! All fine and I don't need to see him again unless fibroid gets picked up on next scan.

Time for some online shopping me thinks, New Look it is. Under bump or over bump that is the question lol.

Angel glad all is ok, bet it was scary Flowers

Angelina77 · 03/04/2014 17:49

I've had ligament stretching pains so knew it wasn't that, it felt like a heavy period starting so quite worrying

foody cervix trampoline sounds painful! I'll have 11 weeks to go on Sunday so I'll be keeping a close eye on your posts :)

Thanks bunnie yes it was but they were lovely and reassuring so I'm glad I went in.

CatsCantFlyFast · 03/04/2014 18:00

Bunny everybody is different but for me my under bump stuff was unwearable from the middle of the second tri as it kept falling down. I lived in my over bump stuff as it was so comfy and didn't dig in but in the early days I did need to fold the over bump bit double as it was a little too big
Still keeping up with everyone/thing but my ability to post is limited as despite being awake at all hours I never seem to have a free hand. Am currently in dr waiting room hoping for some antibiotic cream for my agonisingly fucking painful cracked nipple

OP posts:
MotherOfCleo · 03/04/2014 19:16

hope the nip heals soon merk!!! Sounds seriously ouchy!! Sad

I second 'over bump' anything underbump made me need to pee constantly!

Boomgoestheweasel · 03/04/2014 21:07

Me three for the overbump!

merk yowch! Hope it heals soon you poor thing. Anyone heard from Thunder? Hope all is ok with her and Thunderkitten..

Angel scary - glad all was ok. It's rubbish when you're on wriggle-watch, I was doing it last week when they thought twin 2 was slowing down on growth and it's amazing how paranoid you can get. Hope your bambino does a few little dances to reassure you.

Tally glad you're getting everything organised and are feeling good about BF. Can't believe how fast this week is whizzing past!

Man who looked like Father Christmas came round to fix my freezer. Expensive yet comical. He even had a goofy sidekick who may well have been an elf in disguise...

CharmingCats · 03/04/2014 21:27

I fourth over the bump trousers. I've got some work trousers from Next. Mil given me topshop jeans, which are under the bump, but v comfy.
Tried out mat knickers, both under the bump and over. I quite like the giant ones, I have to admit.
angel glad you're ok. I went to the hospital on Monday as I hadn't felt the baby move. It was good to get some reassurance. I've had a fair bit of stretching pain too. I think it's fairly common.

Bunnygirlie · 03/04/2014 22:25

Ah will try over bump then, gonna try h&m apparently they have some maternity stuff in our local branch and then maybe Next.

Maternity knickers?!?!? Shock

boom glad Santa fixed your freezer.

Told some more peeps tonight, that's all my hens told Smile

Tallyra · 04/04/2014 02:53

mornin! I was warned that the steroid injection the hosp gave me today might cause me not to sleep. well I had nearly 5 hours sleep but now I'm wide awake. and I never realised how bright my phone is in the dark before! I guess I'll just lay here for a bit. the floorboards are really creaky upstairs. Although I guess dh will have to get used to them pretty soon!Shock

CatsCantFlyFast · 04/04/2014 03:19

Hope you've got back to sleep Tally. Actually maybe worth thinking about for everybody is some kind of night light to give you enough light to get up and/or do feeds without blinding your OH (like our bedside lamp does). I've not cracked it yet as the nightlight I have is too dark but the lamp is too bright

OP posts:
MotherOfCleo · 04/04/2014 03:55

merk we bought the calpol vapouriser plug in when H was ill, it has a blue nightlight which I used when H was in our room. It's quite bright but not too bright if that makes sense? Might be worth the 6 quid investment as it is fab for helping them breath when they have a cold plus it doubles as a nightlight.

Tallyra · 04/04/2014 04:23

not yet merk, I went downstairs I'm the end and snuggling the dog is mildly soporific but now my guts are playing up. I don't think its baby related though as I had a pack of cheesy crisps at lunch and I'm lactose intolerant (it shouldn't be this bad though as I took a lactase tablet Sad )
not a bad idea about the night light girls, I might look into it. I have one somewhere in the house that we used to use in the hallway.

I think I'm going to make some warm milk. damn. the dog has just repositioned onto my lap.

Tallyra · 04/04/2014 04:25

lactose free milk by the way in case you think I'm just a bit stupid...Grin

CatsCantFlyFast · 04/04/2014 05:10

BlindKitty · 04/04/2014 06:50

tally I just turn the brightness down on my phone (in settings)

Tallyra · 04/04/2014 07:49

tried that. either it didn't work or it was still way too bright.

Bunnygirlie · 04/04/2014 08:18

tally hope you get some rest today x

I looked at the New Look website, Crikey they even have maternity hot pants Shock they should re name the range maternity wear for teenage pregnancy Wink

jessplussomeonenew · 04/04/2014 14:04

Quiet in here today, hope everyone's well!

Got my Next maternity trousers, they feel quite nice. The elasticated bit is soft and folds over which makes them fit even over a smaller bump. That said, think I might need to go down a size from my normal pre-maternity size as the non-elasticated bit is a little too wide around the hips - I may need this later but for now it's a little bit baby elephant. Such a pain that so much maternity stuff is only available online when sizes are so unpredictable!

Boomgoestheweasel · 04/04/2014 15:51

Hope you manage a granny nap today tally. Dex is a bugger, it hurts and then you get insomnia! Did you have both lots yesterday or have you got another today?

Haha bunny I am going to need a pic of you modelling said hotpants at some point Grin Glad you've got some relatively comfy trousers jess!

We have a cute nightlight, it's a retro little china mushroom house with little mouse people in it - it was Mr Boom's when he was a baby. Not sure how useful it'll be but it's very sweet!

I'm exhausted today. Think I might go and have a bath and keep fingers crossed that Mr Boom will take the dogs out for me properly later - I feel bad that they've only had a couple of little trots round the block today but it's all I could manage Sad really not looking forward to the post-section immobility..

Brodicea · 04/04/2014 16:35

That nightlight sounds amazing boom! We only have our ewan dream sheep and a temperamental mushroom thing that I already had (bought online, thinking it was a much larger lamp!)

Bunnygirlie · 04/04/2014 18:25

Oh god I need a glass of Wine so busy at work, so behind with everything and struggling with my trousers! Having to unzip them after lunch sitting at my desk which is very awkward when I need to get letters off the printer quite often! Aaaaaagh!

Apart from me me me, how is everyone? Smile
