For pregnant berries at any stage. Scary thought but this is the one where some babies will appear!

bunny you must be so pleased! Did you cry? I cried at first 3 scans! Isn't my 12 weeks I couldn't believe she was actually my baby! Are you celebrating tonight?

Bunnygirlie · 21/03/2014 18:52

Thanks ladies it's a weird feeling indeed!

kitty I think I'm still in a state of shock. I did shed a few tears, watching DHs reaction was fab. We have people round for dinner tonight so no celebrating, secret still being kept till next weekend Shock

PoppySeedBun · 21/03/2014 19:02

What an action-packed day!
Congratulations on a great scan, bunny - I quite liked hanging on to the secret with just me and DH, so enjoy this last week if you can.

And obviously, serious Thanks for merk and her amazing delivery. Did not help my insomnia to discover her waters had broken via FB in the middle of the night Smile

CatsCantFlyFast · 21/03/2014 22:34

Congrats Bunny....a real case of me vacating a seat for you to settle in for the long run after today.

Tallyra · 22/03/2014 07:58

Morning all. Just checking in from my bed on the fist day of my mat leave. You know when you want to lie in but then you just wake up far too early? Hah. Typical! But at least I don't feel sick, must have had all the sleep I needed tonight!
I hope Merk had an ok first night back at home!!!! Grin

Foodylicious · 22/03/2014 08:01

I too was looking forward to a lie in after getting up at 6-630 all week. Only to wake up at 6.00 PING! wide awake.
Had tea a toast in bed and think I might be ready for a snooze now

jessplussomeonenew · 22/03/2014 08:13

Bunnygirlie · 22/03/2014 10:33

Oh merk you're a mummy! How amazing! So did you just sneeze and it was all over?!?
I have to admit when I saw your beautiful girls photo I did tear up!

foody it was weird having family round last night and having our little secret Grin

kitty not soon for me, I've got ages Grin

Ugh the ms seems to be getting worse, keep waking up early and having to run and get some cold apple juice to stop the heaving Sad

Question, just wondered how did you get your NHS downs test results? I've been told I'll get a call if the risks are high in the next week otherwise the mw will go through them with me at the 16w mw appt.

Foodylicious · 22/03/2014 11:17

Mine just came through the post bunny, bit of a surprise. I don;t remember being told I would get a letter of results.I expected to be phoned if they were high, but other wise would get them at MW appt.
So cue very short lived panic while I speed read the letter that said all was fine.
Have had another sleep and think I'm getting a cold, bluegh...
OH is still out from last night!
We went to see The Orb, I was going to come back around 11pm and expected him to stay out into the early hours as a lot of friends were going.
I was soo tired and uncomfy I left at 10pm and had quite a good nights sleep!

One of friends sent me a text about 7 this morning to let me know he was falling asleep in a chair & he has texted about an hour ago so say he would be "meandering home soon, do you want anything picking up"

Not seen him yet. Hope he had a good night though as it will be the last one like that for a while ever Grin

BlindKitty · 22/03/2014 11:30

foody I've been encouraging Dh to plan 'boys days/nights' too. What he doesn't know is that they're his last..Wink muhahaha

bunny they'll call you if there's any issues but I got a letter too. Can't wait for Mother's Day! You should get Dh to video their responses! My dad literally burst into tears, I wish I could have recorded that x

Bunnygirlie · 22/03/2014 13:00

Thanks ladies.

foody kitty Talking of menfolk enjoying their spare time whilst they have some, I have the extra stress of DHs mates wedding 13 days before my due date!!!!! This probably means a stag do abroad which I am freaking out about!

kitty hoping to record a few people's reactions, will be nice to have Smile

jessplussomeonenew · 22/03/2014 14:33

Merk, I think you've earnt a bit of gloating by now, make the absolute most of these first few days!

PuppyMummy · 22/03/2014 15:45

merk glad ur enjoying it!

my oh is also away tonight! he has a couple more jollys planned in before baby!

30 weeks today! yay! just managed to get out for a dog walk between rain. v good.

now watchimg obem whilst bouncing on my newly aquired ball!

SidneyBristow · 22/03/2014 17:38

Merk what's it like?? Grin so very happy for you all!!
Ms subsided but now back again, til this a.m. when everything came up, an hour before a houseguest arrived. Desperately trying to not be sick again as we aren't ready for anyone to guess what's up. Starting to get nervous over my harmony test (blood test monday) and subsequent 12week scan, in 2 weeks. I just want everything to be ok, and to have a happy and healthy baby at the end of it Hmm

On the bright side have just discovered that a favorite burger chain has just opened near us, hooray! I now know what I'll be doing after my midwife appointments and what my first post-labor meal will be

CatsCantFlyFast · 22/03/2014 18:21

I have spent the entire day staring at her! We are managing the feeding ok, it's not easy but I think we are getting there
Now I get to settle on the labour watch armchair and wait for more berry babies, so excited!

Boomgoestheweasel · 22/03/2014 18:55

Oh merk I'm so pleased for you and your beautiful little girl. Bet you can't take your eyes off! Your birth sounds great, if I end up having this section I might live vicariously through you and pretend I did it your way Grin. I think I was too tired this morning to write a proper comment your photo on fb but she's just beautiful. I can't wait to meet mine now, somehow you've made it seem actually real!

puppy yay for 30 weeks!

sid the pre-12wk stress is the worst. Promise it gets better! Sorry you're feeling pants again, fingers crossed it's just a blip.

Home again after a lovely break, managed to swim and walk every day so feeling smug and secretly hoping all the sloshing around in the pool will have turned the babies even though there's approx zilch chance Relaxed mood slightly spoiled by the fact the plumbing work is still mid-project (supposed to be finished), plumber now away until tues and the toilet he's 'fixed' is leaking from the tank through the kitchen ceiling and I can't work out how to turn it off. AND one of the dogs seems to be poorly and is throwing up all over the house. Poor thing looks so sad Sad

thunder....? Where are you..?

CatsCantFlyFast · 22/03/2014 18:57

Boom you will/would have behaved much better than me Blush
The midwives shift changed at 8am during pushing but I saw the first ones I had before we left last night and they said they had laughed about my grumbling and shouting all the way home!
