bunny have a big comforting hand over here. 12 weeks, oh my that has gone quickly!!

kitty I think he does realise that my comfort is quite a big part of it all. I don't blame him for being worried. his sis's experience has definitely coloured the way he sees it, but my feeling is that she was already in hospital for high blood pressure and wasn't eligible for the mlu anyway. He is torn between my comfort and his desire to be safe and ready for any problems. I can't reconcile it in my head just yet.

tally it's not just comfort but how positive you feel about the whole thing. Hopefully he'll come around, there's still time yet

bunny I just wish there was something I could say/do but he won't be able to relax for a long time. Good luck for tomorrow, not that you'll need it

Merk days that the contractions are 1.5 mins apart now ( that was an hour ago ) so hopefully she's on her way to the birth centre now!!

She hasn't said much in over an hour not like her at all so she must be on her way now

For those not on fb baby (no name) arrived in the pool this morning, 8lb9. 7 and a half hours from first contraction to her arrival.

Grinning like a loon in the staff room at work. Congratulations Merkin and bunny!!!!!

Bunny I had a very similar reaction - it's amazing that they go from a blob of cells to an entirely recognisable (if tiny) baby in just 10 weeks, and seeing it on screen is a magical, unbelievable moment that really brings it home. Glad it all went well!
