poppy ha I nearly did it at work the other week but was worried about scaring my colleagues!

angel I'd say enjoy mat clothes shopping but you'll be lucky to find decent stuff out there! Most of it is DULL!!!

foody ironically your the one who really had loop excision! Consultant said that even if they don't discharge me I can still go to the mlu when the time comes, which is all that matters really.

Kitty you are having an odd time of it. I had a lletz and they measured my cervix at the 20w scan, said it all looks nice and long and that's it!

BlindKitty · 06/02/2014 19:31

tally I've had 2 cervical length scans and funnily enough they were both fine!

Bunnygirlie · 06/02/2014 20:01

kitty glad baby kitty is ok Smile I spoke to FC nurse and they said should be fine, scan Monday and then will be discharged to midwife I guess.

Hey boom feeling a tad grotty today actually, on top of tiredness I woke with a headache and nausea which turned into proper heaving when I saw the icky cat food. Felt better after having drink and brekkie but had headache all day. Yuck!

Hugs to all the painful bumps and bad sleepers.

P.s. the whole cervix measuring/scanning thing is freaking me out!

Foodylicious · 06/02/2014 20:51

Found this and loved it! 4th trimester?!?

OH has gone to bed early and I have just eaten 150g Galaxy bar, mmm
Great start to my 10 days off!!!
bunny look after yourself when you can, headaches, tiredness and nausea are rubbish and for me felt different than any when I was not pg.
Thankfully our cat only has dry food, but had some awful treat sticks a while back that did actually make me vom from the smell!

Woke up feeling sick this morning which was pants, but made me realise I have not been feeling that sick at all lately and headaches have mostly buggered off too apart from the odd twinge. Odd that I had not noticed until today.
Seeing the doc next week finally to get physio referral, was going to get more promethazine but think I might try a few days off it while I am not at work.
boom I am finding having tums when I go to bed really helps too.

Not sure if I have shared this already but, after weeks of being generally aware that grapefruit exists I caved and bought some at the weekend I DO NOT LIKE GRAPEFRUIT, or at least thats what I thought!!
have had half of one every day for 5 days and finding I want more!!! Sticking to just once a day though for the sake of heartburn Grin

OH was laughing today as in my pj bottoms I look like tweedle dee or tweedle dum from Alice in wonderland! my arse also sticks out almost as much in the opposite direction Smile. Asked if we can draw a face on bump soon Grin

BlindKitty · 06/02/2014 22:23

bunny the cervix scans only applies to a few of us because we've had previous procedures in the past. Don't worry, should be your last dildocam on mon! Super excited! What time is it?

foody are you not on the grads thread? I posted that yesterday

OP posts:
BlindKitty · 06/02/2014 22:26

foody my cat will literally bite your hand off for those treats!

Oh and I have a very faint linea negara!!

OP posts:
CatsCantFlyFast · 06/02/2014 22:49

Foody I have found my bump makes my arse look much bigger, which seems counter intuitive

BlindKitty · 07/02/2014 07:29

Guys does anyone have a pregnancy pillow? Restless legs drove me mad last night (as did the cat who just wants to sleep practically on top of me all the time!). I've heard dreamgenii ones are good? Any thoughts?

OP posts:
Bunnygirlie · 07/02/2014 08:35

foody I'm sure you don't really look like tweedle dee Grin Trying to look after myself, but life gets in the way lol

kitty glad you are excited for me, I am just nervous. I don't see how they can see anything this early and after googling 6 week scans I don't think there is much to see.

CatsCantFlyFast · 07/02/2014 08:42

Blind I've looked at them a few times but never actually bought one as I think they're extortionate. I have recently taken up sleeping with a really firm cushion between my knees and one behind my back which I have found helpful. Having said that the pillows are supposed to be great for breast feeding so at least they get more use
Plenty to see at 6 weeks bunny, including a potential heartbeat

BlindKitty · 07/02/2014 10:58

merk think I'm going to get one anyway. Plus I'm sure Dh would appreciate anything preventing me rolling onu back to stop me snoring haha!

bunny it's basically a blob with a flicker but its the best blob you'll ever see Smile

So just attempted Zumba. Was in my fitness capabilities but managed to make the sexist exercise ever look very unsexy. Lets just say my slut drops left a lot to be desired..was literally 'bump and sorta grind' lol

Hi guys, just checking in as I'd not managed to keep up with the move. Sounds like a lot of aches and pains out there - hope everyone is getting the tlc they need (hot chiropractors a bonus!)

I'm still throwing up all over the place but top of the annoying list is the cold that has been dragging on for nearly 5 weeks now and currently seems to be getting worse again. I just about manage to console myself that the sickness is a good sign (and fingers crossed (and toes too) should ease in a few weeks)... but having an endless cold as well is just too annoying for words!

Hope your scan goes well on Monday Bunny. I am really hoping my first scan appt letter comes soon, probably week after next if they do it in week 12. I think if I'd not been so sick I'd have been desperate to have a scan to know that there really was something there, but as it is there's a little reassurance that comes from making yet another offering at the porcelain altar!

BlindKitty · 07/02/2014 11:23

jess sorry you're feeling so sick but hopefully it will start to ease off soon if you're approaching 12 weeks Brew

Managed to convince Dh to go to babies are us and mothercare today. What's the chances of us coming back with nothing again?

Foodylicious · 07/02/2014 11:35

No kitty I'm just on here, cant remember where I found that link though so its just as likely from there from the most active threads link!
I have a pillow, but not using it. I always sleep with quilt between my knees, (we have a double one each on our bed) so sticking with that. using the pillow I had to wake up a bit more to get comfy each time I turned over. I was looking at getting a mattress topper as getting uncomfy lying on either side for any length of time, but have put a king-size quilt under the sheet and mattress protector instead, it was alot cheaper!
Sorry you are feeling pants jess, I had a few colds in the beginning and am just generally more snuffly. Hope you managing to eat ok in between vomming Biscuit

CatsCantFlyFast · 07/02/2014 12:11

Blind are slut drops actually a thing?? Shock
Jess my sympathy with the sickness, hang in there. If you're getting close to 12 weeks and haven't had appointments come through yet (can't remember if you've had your booking yet or not) you can chase them. If you're having any type of screening you do want it sooner rather than later (there is a cut off date I think) so there's a benefit to giving them a nudge about the scan appointment.

Bunnygirlie · 07/02/2014 12:52

Thanks for the scan reassurances merk kitty I am quite tempted to have a 9 week one too, what do you think? Didn’t some of you pay for extra scans?

jess sorry you are being sick, sounds horrid.

Think some MS is kicking in here, felt really rough the past 2 mornings, (headachey too) hoping the McNuggets for my lunch will clear it Grin

LOL at kitty doing slut drops in her condition Wink It always makes me laugh when Alan Carr does them on his show after being taught by skanky ho-bag Rhianna!

CatsCantFlyFast · 07/02/2014 13:50

Bunny I paid for 2 extra scans and got a third as part of the Harmony test.
They're normally around £99... I would say its worth asking your clinic if they will do you a deal... ie if you think you're going to have 2 extra ask them for a price rather than paying for them individually. Also, just in case you are considering it, the price for a Harmony test includes a mandatory scan, and can be done at 9 weeks

BlindKitty · 07/02/2014 14:33

jess yeh does sound a bit odd you haven't heard about you're appointment

bunny I just held off for my 12wk after my 6wk as did feel slightly less anxious afterwards. Oh and I was far from a skanky ho bag - more like free willy!

BlindKitty · 07/02/2014 17:29

Bunny put your hands over your ears..

OMG we actually bought stuff!!! Our little kitten now has her own cot, matress, drawers, carseat and isofix thingy! Started to look at pushchairs but then thought that was quite enough for one day!

Foodylicious · 07/02/2014 17:31

Brave kitty well done you!!!

Brodicea · 07/02/2014 17:42

Nice one kitty - weird to have actual baby stuff in the house ain't it?

I have one of these and it's pretty good - I got a bit of extra cash after my birthday and splashed out! The purple is also good for wielding around the bedroom in a jokey manner www.amazon.co.uk/Original-THERALINE-incl-cover-purple/dp/B005C8EL5K/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1391794934&sr=8-3&keywords=theraline+pillow

Bunnygirlie · 07/02/2014 19:42

merk what is a harmony test?

kitty I didn't mean you were a skanky Ho-bag! You're a fabulous kitty!

la la la
