Hello all, can I join you again?! I've been on this thread a number of times (still recognise a few names here), but sadly, always had to leave again.
Had a BFP yesterday, and after 3 mc, I am sooo hoping that this one will stay.

Hiyaaaaa jbrd that's fantastic news!!!

Here's one for ya, at MIL and in walks BIL and wife, I don't don't Speak to his wife as she's a complete cow! Think I've mentioned her before.. She's the one that walked our on get kids.

Any hoo, I sit in the living room and every man and his dog wonder off into the kitchen and crawl up her arse including DH! Not ducking amused! So when they leave they want to speak to me (and proceed to tell me how excited they are about the baby) soooo excited that they see fit to ignore me until LO is here!!! I can foresee trouble! Then FIL decided to tell everyone that I'm pregnant not disabled etc because of my SPD and then asks if we are sure that the MW is qualified!!!! I'm fucking livid! Not been down for ages and this is why! They are in for a shock when the baby's born!

Lieslvontrapp · 25/01/2014 15:48

ChristineDaae · 25/01/2014 22:20

I have tonight discovered you can not laugh yourself into labor!! If anyone hasn't, I strongly recommend you read the 'funniest bits of childbirth' thread in classics. Iv been crying my eyes out laughing!

Christine that is the thread which sucked me into Mumsnet! Grin

I stumbled over it whilst surfing the Web one day and have been here ever since! It's brilliant!

Foxsticks · 26/01/2014 18:25

Hi everyone, hope its ok to pop on here and say hello. I had a miscarriage last November at 8 weeks, and have just got a BFP today. I'm scared and excited! I dont know how I'm going to get through the next three weeks until the first scan. Im tempted to book a private scan about 8 weeks to break it up a bit.

Foxsticks · 26/01/2014 18:26

Next few weeks that should say!

Alb1 · 26/01/2014 18:31

Congrats Foxsticks, how far along are you?

fod27 · 26/01/2014 18:33

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Fucking inlaws!!!

jazzyjenbo · 26/01/2014 18:37

Congratulations fox.. You must b so pleased but scared at the same time.
I've had a mmc this week and am wondering when to start trying again.
I found out at epu .. They told me that they would re scan me nxt time at 7-8 weeks to re assure me. Did u go to epu at all and could u self refer this time?
I know i will b getting as many scans as i can nxt time as i will b so scared of things going wrong again.
X x

Foxsticks · 26/01/2014 18:41

Thanks Alb. Literally only just got my BFP so 4 weeks, early days. My due date is 6 October. I feel worried about even thinking that far ahead!

Foxsticks · 26/01/2014 18:56

I'm so sorry jazzy, its such an awful time Sad. Last time I started miscarrying on a Friday night so EPU was closed. I booked a private scan for the Tuesday as I kept on being told to wait as the bleeding wasn't heavy. The private scan confirmed their was no hb so I then got referred to EPU on the Thursday. I was then admitted on Monday for an ERPC although much of the miscarriage happened by itself over the weekend Sad. I'll ask them about an early scan.

Stupid question I know but how are you doing?
