Open to all elderberry grads and anyone who fits the berry criteria: over 30, pregnant with #1 after trying for a loooong time, and nervous as hell. Come on in for handholding and nub theory!

Ok, waiting a ECG and some other tests and generally just pottering at home in my pjs in between the hours of the day when I can't breathe. We've just ordered our family car and our pram and carseat is ready for collection... It's all getting very real isn't it?!

I'm having some breathing problems, they come and go (ie when its not happening I feel fine) but when it is happening its like I'm breathing out of an empty scuba tank. Have had a raft of blood tests and now waiting on a heart monitor.

God it's getting a lot more real for you than me merk, we have bought nothing! Think we'll borrow most things so will sort out nearer the time when I finally come out of denial... If that will really happen

merk good to hear they're still trying to find out what the hell's going on. You signed off work then?

kat really good to hear you are feeling more positive. I hope the kitchen is in in time for Christmas x

kat ah do know what you mean, I was just the same before we moved into this house. We were lucky and got in in the nick of time but it sounds like its out of your hands

So..decided to go clubbing tonight. Feeling fine and will prob be my last chance so I thought, why not?! Taking bets on how long I'll last haha!

Kat I reckon if you've got an oven and a microwave you can do it. Buy all veg ready to roast (eg pre prepped parsnips, glazed carrots, pots) so you don't need the hob. Any other veg can be done in the microwave with a little bit of water if needed. Gravy in the microwave and meat in the oven. Voila! I know what you mean about the last Xmas, I'm still fighting the battle to get a first Christmas at home with me and DH!
I have been up since 7 cooking as doing an early Xmas dinner for friends tomorrow. Everything from scratch including 6 different canapés, mulled wine, mince pies and Xmas pud. Have a couple more things to make but have retreated for a hot bath as my feet are killing me. Anybody else finding the soles of their feet are no longer up to holding them for a reasonable period of time??
