Open to all elderberry grads and anyone who fits the berry criteria: over 30, pregnant with #1 after trying for a loooong time, and nervous as hell. Come on in for handholding and nub theory!

Ahh lovely re quod's news, so glad she arrived safely.

Yes tally more than three months til mine is due and I'm betting that merk's lil lady appears first

kat keep it simple with the cooking -if its just the two of you then you don't need all the fuss, perfect excuse to just have a cosy lunch together? Get yourselves down to M&S for some pre prepared treats!

BlindKitty · 15/12/2013 02:09

kat didn't realise it was just the two of you. You could prob easily make do with a microwave and an oven.

Well guys I ventured out clubbing. Thankfully got guest list (phew still got it) and tried my hardest to look cool lol. Thought I was doing quite well until some random told me I looked really tired. Erm cheers love. Anyway, back home and going to catch some zzz

Boomgoestheweasel · 15/12/2013 10:02

Lovely news, congrats to Quod!

Thuuuuuuunderrrrrr, you're up! I have no intention of stealing your glory and pipping you to the post, you're definitely next - these little beans are staying well and truly put.

Can't remember who asked - they do routinely induce twins at 37wks in our trust but I'm not entirely ok with that, given that they have chuff-all evidence to base it on. I'm just hoping twin 1 will turn head down so I can have a nice natural delivery, at the moment they're both transverse which is not conducive to getting them out except by section. Plenty of time though. They are often born a few weeks early naturally but I'm hoping these are lazy twins and will hang on until fully cooked! Movements still not much, maybe a couple of little shuffles a day although sometimes nothing. Wish I could feel more but at least I know they're wriggling in there, it's just that I can't feel it! Sure it'll get to the point where they're booting me constantly and I'll look back on these days all misty-eyed at how nice it was not to be beaten up from the inside..

Kat if it's just the two of you I second the M&S vote - everything in the oven, and lots of puddings and snacks for the baby's benefit of course

Kitty you're a brave creature going clubbing! I can't imagine even trying to waddle past a bouncer at this point, hope you had fun!

Merk please will you come and make my Christmas dinner? Please?

Thunderpantsarego · 15/12/2013 12:22

boom I'm not up now!! Give me a few months yet, I've got a fruit in ere to ripen yet....

So the grads thread is all babies now is it?

Kitty I agree with boom in you being brave going clubbing... i haven't really done that kind of malarky for many years. I'm more likely to be found in an old man type pub with a pint and the dog. I'm so old.

Tallyra · 15/12/2013 12:39

I agree thunder, clubbing is hard work now even without a baby on board. we can't even afford old man's pubs very often, it's sitting by the fire with the dog usually! Like right now. trying to get the energy to light the fire after a 2 he walk in the mud that zapped me a bit more than expected. This cold doesn't help Sad

BlindKitty · 15/12/2013 13:06

Well the energy wasn't a problem and didn't spend any money (at all!). I know the promotor and a few djs from when I was cool who even offered to open the upstairs if I needed to sit down, which I thought was incredibly sweet even if unnecessary Xmas Smile.

Just gotta love how a Teenie bobber (even with the best will intended) managed to make me feel paranoid about how I look. Prob more to do with the fact that I spend a small fortune on my hair (which I HATE) and that I feel so fat atm!!!

Anyway, enough about me! I haven't even congratulated quod yet! I'm such a bad berry!!!!

Hope you're all enjoying you're weekend! Xxx

BlindKitty · 15/12/2013 13:07

*spent

Brodicea · 15/12/2013 13:37

Aw glad to hear about quod, lovely photo on the facebook page Smile

Glad to the club was OK kitty - it all feels a bit beyond me this week I have been so pooped. I went to a friends kids Xmas party yesterday and man I was knackered! Not sure if I'm unusually tired for 20 weeks or whether children are just extremely tiring - not like I was looking after any of them! Just observing in some awe.

BlearyeyedLol · 15/12/2013 14:04

Yeah thunder there are no more pg berries on the grads thread. We should really move to post natal!!!
Did I mention you're next? GrinGrin
Think we have a bit of a break now and then will have another rush with thunder merk and double boom!! I'm excited already!
Has twinks joined us yet?

BlindKitty · 15/12/2013 14:40

brod I think I'm unusually energetic! It does kind of freak me out though that I'm not feeling like every other pregnant person I know!

bleary assuming you mean pre-natal? Got quite a way just yet!

Yes, twinks, where are you?

Tallyra · 15/12/2013 19:17

kitty she means the big girls thread. they have all popped but are still on the antenatal forum.

BlindKitty · 15/12/2013 20:34

Oh I see!!! Know wr said we'd go soon but hink I still like it here though actually...

Tallyra · 15/12/2013 20:41

twinklestar2 · 15/12/2013 21:00

Hello I'm lurking just not posting at the moment till I feel more comfortable x

BlindKitty · 16/12/2013 07:01

Ah tbf twinks we were all a bit like this at the start. Just start posting when you're ready Xmas Smile

Thunderpantsarego · 16/12/2013 07:11

I think we voted to stay here in the end anyway didn't we?

at twinks hiding behind the copter pot plant

Yawn... Don't want to wake up today. Have entered a new phase whereby I can't sleep in the same bed as DH. Everything disturbs me- his snoring, moving, breathing, even the smell of him. Oh well, at least we have a spare bed.

What's on the cards this week ladies? Anything exciting?

NIce one kat - we're moving in a few weeks so likewise haven't got any decorations this year, normally out on the 1st!

My 20 week scan is on Thursday morning! Excited but also a bit nervous.

Angelina77 · 16/12/2013 09:21

I know how you feel twink, especially when most people are so far along. I've started to realise though that it doesn't get any less worrying the further along you are, there's always a new thing to stress about, and I've had some really good advice on here.

Oo kat how very exciting!! Brilliant to have the new kitchen in before Christmas.

brod 20 week scan- hooray! Brilliant.

We're just trying to buy a house at the moment. Last minute? Us? Nah...

Thunderpantsarego · 16/12/2013 15:54

Waaaa made mistake of commenting on a couple of other threads and now the only updates to 'I'm on'
are about babies.

BlearyeyedLol · 16/12/2013 16:23

Thunder I envisage a mw handing you a baby after birth and you going - wow, how did this happen?! Whose baby is it???Grin

Thunderpantsarego · 16/12/2013 16:40

Yeah I reckon you might be right lol, can't see the penny dropping before then... Aren't I ridiculous?! And once that happens I'm sure I'll be on a thread talking about sleeping and feeding etc all the time. Til then tho I'm happy hiding in the copter.....

BlindKitty · 16/12/2013 19:05

twinks know how you feel! In fact, when the others were talking about nuchal fold testing I went strait back to berry hq for a bit, I was that freaked out lol

brod very exciting re the scan. Will you find out which team it's on?

kat got my fingers crossed for your pre Xmas kitchen!!

bleary literally lol at you imagining thunder giving birth

So..the most amazing thing happened today...a stranger realised I was pregnant!!! I am absolutely ecstatic lol! Even more overly excited about my Xmas sexing scan on Sunday!!! Eeeek!!!
