I can barely remember the day I got my BFP...although I do remember an overwhelming feeling of 'what next'. Its like you get so geared up and focused on the BFP, them when you get it you are thrilled but suddenly realise you don't know anything about the next bit. And that its a bit weird not being able to tell people for a while!

I remember my BFP Merk because it was so faint I didn't believe it, went out and bought a digi which I then threw at Mr Boom and collapsed in a heap of tears while he looked completely poleaxed... I can't remember much about the early weeks though, other than I kept forgetting and then suddenly something would happen to remind me and I'd have a secret little grin to myself

Oh yes- you talked me all the way down to the shop and then to poas! That was pretty much the day the FB page started- it was a weird crazy day. merk you'd been doing your early testing hadn't you?

Bunny there's a fair spread of dates, think Charming is just at 12 weeks so not far ahead, and there's a bfp rush bound to happen now anyway. Don't worry you will soon feel more comfortable in here when weird stuff starts happening to your body and you need some reassurance
Thunder I can't remember if I early tested. I think I flew back from America on the Thursday night and got a bfn on the Friday when I tested, then my bfp on the sat. Not sure how many DPO I was though. However I think i had had a positive OPK about 8dpo while in the US

thunder something huge like having a baby?!?

merk I think so, I will call FC tomorrow and see what they say ref scans. I will tell my reflexologist and my leg waxer turned friend who is testing post ivf next weekend but nobody else for a long while. But my boss does know its been happening this month so he will prob guess.

Question, I'm 2 weeks past ET but is it counted from start of cycle?

Any tips/advice for a newbie?

NOOO waaay huger than that bunny! It's just too safe and nice in here and you lot are all my lovely friends.

Tips- this is not a fun process for everyone, particularly at the beginning, but for some, all the way through. So just take each day as it comes and try not to get too stressed, because there are plenty of things to worry about if you're the worrying type.

Oh... That sounds rather negative. Of course it's not negative really, it is the most wonderful thing ever. But physically and emotionally it can be quite a challenge!
