Open to all elderberry grads and anyone who fits the berry criteria: over 30, pregnant with #1 after trying for a loooong time, and nervous as hell. Come on in for handholding and nub theory!

Ouch kitty that sounds miserable. Worth a call to the mw?

Hi bunny! Definitely space here in the copter, we are expecting a rush of berry entries over the coming weeks.

No bump gifts here and that's fine by me- bump is fine as it is at the moment. kitty what a lovely message from your DH though, ahhhh Smile

qazxc · 27/12/2013 12:04

Belated Merry Christmas everyone!
My best christmas present is the fact that the morning sickness has gone, woohoo!!!!! the tiredness is still there though as i fell asleep for four hours after christmas dinner and missed Emmerdale.

Tallyra · 27/12/2013 14:01

yay qaz!! I'm not sure the tiredness ever goes away though!

BlindKitty · 27/12/2013 15:32

merk strangely the pain from yesterday has gone and its been in my cervix today. I think I'm just worrying about nothing. Just not used to these new feelings.

bunny certainly am having a pink one! :-) :-) :-)

qaz glad the sickness has eased off...just in time for all those selection boxes!

So hit the sales today and bought a shed load of stuff!

Tallyra · 28/12/2013 07:38

hi guys, just to let you know I'm going to France for a week. no internet or tv etc so don't worry when I disappear Grin

Boomgoestheweasel · 28/12/2013 08:07

Hello bunny! We're having the copter extended to make room for all the 2014 bfp'ers!

Lucky you tally, have a lovely time munching all the Brie, pate and wine frogs' legs!

qaz hooray for an end to sickness! Fingers crossed it stays away.

kitty want to be my personal shopper? I'm missing all the sales because of work, boo hiss! Pain most likely ligament as merk says. I'm getting regular stitch type pains in my under-bump when I walk too fast, am thinking of getting a support belt..

Couple of bump gifts here, my family clubbed together and got us a buggy and some mothercare vouchers which will probably go on car seats. And my MIL got us two sets of broderie anglaise booties which are very cute. Think not knowing the sex makes people less likely to buy baby stuff which I'm pleased about!

Damn, fail with the crossing out!

BlindKitty · 28/12/2013 08:50

tally oh have a lovely time! (Very Xmas Envy!

Speaking of people disappearing, where's foody these days?

boom how about a spot of online sales shopping?

Hitting John Lewis's today as we've got £250 in vouchers to spend! Whoop! Bet I can't find anything now!

Boomgoestheweasel · 28/12/2013 11:03

Going on your last haul kitty I suspect you'll manage to find something!

Good point about missing persons. Fooooooody??

Am about to go and walk the dogs and then husband is adamant that we have to go and see Gravity in 3D. Anyone else been to see it?

OP posts:
BlindKitty · 28/12/2013 11:40

boom very jealous about gravity! I want to go and see it but instead I'm being made to go to see the hobbit...

Boomgoestheweasel · 28/12/2013 12:44

In love with my new Halti headcollar for Boomdog II. First walk I've felt in full control while he's on the lead, whoooop!

Gravity cancelled, not showing any more at our teeny tiny local cinema. Boo.

Hi guys,
been lurking the last few days and absent over recent weeks as I needed to get myself together and live in real life.
This place has been a massive support at times, but in all honesty I have been better without coming on here so often, really nothing personal, just what is best for me.
Dropped off both FB groups for the same reason.

All is good with us at the moment, 15 weeks now.
Good luck ladies, I may pop in from time to time!

Brodicea · 28/12/2013 16:20

Hello all, I've been a tad awol as we were Xmassing in Leeds - relocation imminent on Friday - ooer!

Hope all is okay foody

Another for team pink kitty!

BlindKitty · 28/12/2013 22:05

foody ah well you should do whatever is best for you. Do pop back from time to time and let us know how you are though!

brod I know, when you said about your scan I wished the same would happen! Wishes do come true! Xmas Grin

Tried to go shopping for bigger items today..literally death by pushchair shopping. Shopping for baby clothes is loads more fun!

BlindKitty · 29/12/2013 10:39

Grrrr just had a little spat with dh over nursery stuff. Just found some nice, reasonably priced furniture on eBay but he won't consider anything second hand. Wish he'd stop thinking we're loaded when we're clearly not. He's had debts he'd been taking me he'd pay for the last 7 years and I won't obviously be earning much on maternity. He said all overall say in is the pushchair yet he's sticking his oar in with furniture! Should I just buy it anyway? AIBU?

Foody I also disappeared off mn during my pregnancy and only came back after I'd had my baby. Everyone was very welcoming and understanding. You have to do what is right for you and I completely understand the need to switch off at times. Come back when you feel like it!!!
Hope everyone had a great XmasGrin
I've seen some of you went mad on sales shopping!!

BlindKitty · 30/12/2013 08:30

blearey yes, some of us went more mad than others!

Thunderpantsarego · 30/12/2013 09:04

Hello all, how are we all doing??

I'm back to work today- yawn. It's been lovely to have a few days out. Have leant that the baby likes it when I use power tools too. Or perhaps it doesn't like it and it was wiggling to try to cover its ears!

28 week appointment today and the dreaded anti-D, apparently it's not a nice jab so I'll be glad when it's over with.

Also a halti user over here, not every walk though, we have a variety of different leads that we use but they can be a godsend. I hear the control harnesses can be great too but have never used one on my dogs.

BlearyeyedLol · 30/12/2013 09:09

GrinKitty are you the ones who went a bit more mad then??? Can't miss out on a bargain though?!!
Hi thund hope injection is not too bad. 28 weeks?!!! Blimey. Nearly there GrinGrin

BlindKitty · 30/12/2013 09:11

thunder the baby wriggled loads at the start of the hobbit the other day. Either liked or disliked the loud music! Dh also felt her for the first time last night Xmas Grin

Thunderpantsarego · 30/12/2013 09:30

Ahh lovely kitty!

Not sure mine really responds to sounds, seems to be more to vibrations or direct contact. Think it's probably used to being in such a noisy environment- particularly with this woofing dog...

I know lol! A week on thurs I'll be 30 weeks- almost proper innit?!

BlindKitty · 30/12/2013 12:14

Innit thunder!!! You must be getting excited now?

Can you believe i'll be 20 weeks on wed?! Half way!!

Thunderpantsarego · 30/12/2013 12:28

Half way kitty woohoo!! When's your anomaly scan? Are you excited?

I'm not sure what I am really, the idea of meeting this baby is lovely, the thought of not being pregnant any more is also very appealing indeed. But I don't think that far ahead really, just happy to be where I am and also getting through each day.... Buying and moving house is the next challenge!

CatsCantFlyFast · 30/12/2013 13:09

Thunder what time is your appointment? I'm awaiting update on how crap the anti d jab is!
