3 years to successfully have a baby but had a miscarriage and ectopic before this. So grateful to have my daughter now.

1st pregnancy, 8 months
2nd pregnancy, first try! But miscarriage.
3rd pregnancy, 12 long months. Another miscarriage.
Current pregnancy, first try! (Now half way through & all is well so far).
Just goes to show it can vary so much.

DS1 - just happened within 6 months of getting married.

DS2 - one go (not TTC nor avoiding it, but I knew when I fell pg)

DS3 - one go ( same as DS2)

DS4 - just happened

5th pg - TTC, fell pg in first cycle, sadly MC

DS5 - one go (TTC, I know when I fell pg)

DD - result of a 3-night TTC fest (within 1st cycle)

1st - 6 months
2nd - (6 weeks pregnant now!) - 3 months but 2 of serious TTC

Good luck, it will happen... Try and enjoy it because the 'love making' won't be as frequent once you have the baby! Thanks

1 year but I had a MC and then another 14 months - had our DD.

This may have been less but we were both doing shifts so didn't always see each other at the appropriate time of the month. We also had a lot of stress in our lives with truly awful work situations and 2 close family bereavements after terminal illness.

Our DD was conceived the weekend of our 5th wedding anniversary though, so that's an embarrassing story for when she's older!

First time, got pregnant the first month.
Second time took 10 months after a horrific experience with the implant.

DC1 - first cycle
DC2 - second cycle
DC3 - happened while on the pill!

19 months with DC1. Approx 20 minutes with DC2 Blush

The first time was an accident! The second time, the fourth cycle but as I did not ovulate the first cycle, my doc put me on clomid which only worked two out of three cycles, so it was the second time I actually ovulated.

First attempt both times. We were very fortunate.

exactly a year. Never considered how hard it would be to be honest, spent that morning i came on every month sobbing that i still wasn't pregnant. So glad to be here now, hope it's a sticky one!

DC1 - about a year (aged 28)
DC2 - instantaneously! Which is why they are only 16 months apart. We decided to start trying soon after having DC1 as we thought given how long it took to conceive the first time it might take ages. I was pregnant literally within a few hours of deciding to try for a second baby.
DC3 - about three cycles, I think (aged 32). Almost certainly conceived on day of ovulation.

4 cycles, bought ovulation test kit after 2 of those, hey presto am due in 5 weeks, I was 39 1/2 & DH mid 40's. I consider us extraordinarily fortunate Grin we both work shifts which brings a relatively unhealthy lifestyle.
