Erm....I think I might be pregnant!

My boobs have been really sore for about a week, so bad I've bought a three pack of those ugly bras, I've always had tenderness before a period, but only for a day or so, I've also noticed a strange taste in my mouth, not enough to think much about it, until now, I've just read an early sign is a metallic taste, and that's the taste, couldn't put my finger on it before.

Slight twinges like mild period pains and wind.

I still don't want to believe it, I'm 39, this will be my first if I really am, but reading that about the metallic taste kinda made a light come on.

Early pregnancy symptoms REALLY feel like a period coming.....That's rather confusing.

I don't have anyone to tell, my husband is sleeping.

It's a good thing, we've not used anything for about ten years and had accepted that we probably wouldn't have any kids, we were OK with that but I think I secretly buried the urge.

I'm still not sure but reading about that taste kinda threw me.

Assuming that it would be good news if you're pregnant - congrats!

Well, no guarantees, but yes sounds v much like you might be! I remember that metallic taste very well! Are you feeling v tired at weird times too? It's hard to say because as you say early pregnancy symptoms are v similar to "period coming" symptoms but th eweird taste in mouth suggests that you are... Will you update this thread when you've tested?!

Yes, but it's very early if I am, two weeks and a day, my husband's been working away so I know exactly , that's why I'm trying to be cool about it, not even sure if it would show on a test yet!

Pregnancy is dated from your last period so (depending on your exact cycle) you'd be 4-6 weeks probably. Test in the morning!!!

I wore a sanitary towel for a week when I was pregnant because I thought I was coming on imminently - so yes my pregnancy symptoms were just the same. Also remember the funny taste... urgh.

The other thing is slight nausea when thinking about horrid stuff like dog poo?

Sounds like you could well be pregnant :-) When was AF? Can you POAS anytime soon?

I think you are - identical symptoms to my three pregnancies. Do you have a oversensitive sense of smell right now?

I honestly can't remember, I hardly take any notice of my periods, I really thought one of us was infertile so it's not an issue (if that makes sense)

Good luck. Metallic taste was always an early sign for me, oh and the runs!!! Lol.

Hope you get exactly what you wish for. You want to test your first wee of the morning as its more concentrated so if you haven't got any tests then personally I'd wee in a pot and go and get a test. Best of luck x

I think I'm pregnant too can't sleep at all tonight and have been waking randomly for the last few nights, happened me last time too, very thirsty too and mouth feels swollen on the inside or lips feel too big. Have Massive boobs and a sore back .Will be testing tomorrow too tho probably not til the evening as dont have any tests and don't want to buy one in my local pharmacy (live in a very small village where everyone knows me!) keep us updated

They were my exact symptoms.

The two things that made me question myself were the very sore boobs (I wanted rid of my boobs lol) and I had fantom period feeling lol

I tested and was 2 weeks pregnant.
