My boobs have been really sore for about a week, so bad I've bought a three pack of those ugly bras, I've always had tenderness before a period, but only for a day or so, I've also noticed a strange taste in my mouth, not enough to think much about it, until now, I've just read an early sign is a metallic taste, and that's the taste, couldn't put my finger on it before.

Slight twinges like mild period pains and wind.

I still don't want to believe it, I'm 39, this will be my first if I really am, but reading that about the metallic taste kinda made a light come on.

Early pregnancy symptoms REALLY feel like a period coming.....That's rather confusing.

I don't have anyone to tell, my husband is sleeping.

Blimey!!!

LookAtHerGo · 17/11/2012 07:47

pragmatic my pot I used for my tests was the very same one I use/used for my antenatal app wees, apparently my mw tells everyone about one of her ladies and her pot (ie me) I can't pee in those little stupid tubes they give you at the docs and hosp I always miss them.

JaquelineHyde · 17/11/2012 07:52

Can you not bribe dh some way or tell him he can go back to bed for as long as he wants after nipping to the shops?

Do you not have a little local shop in walking distance?

Or just get up and make as much noise as you possibly can until dh gets the message Grin

Pickles77 · 17/11/2012 07:52

Don't just buy one test Wink

SpottyTeacakes · 17/11/2012 07:53

emeraldgirl1 · 17/11/2012 08:11

God you are more zen than I am. I would be throwing a major tantrum at DH right now!!

Pondlily · 17/11/2012 08:12

iloveholidays · 17/11/2012 08:15

That's good, I bet he's just finding it hard to believe and he maybe not wanting to come across excited so not to build your hopes up. My DP would do that, always shrugged me off until he saw a positive test as he said if he showed any excitement it would make me more excited and he was right.

Best of luck... I've got everything crossed for you.

poocatcherchampion · 17/11/2012 08:18

Come on mr p. too exciting!!

phantomhairpuller · 17/11/2012 08:19

OrangeLily · 17/11/2012 08:20

Mama1980 · 17/11/2012 08:21

Good luck just marking my place to check back later

Pondlily · 17/11/2012 08:23

JaquelineHyde · 17/11/2012 08:24

Tick tock tick tock...he must have finished by now, kick him out of the door.

On a more pratical note like a few others have said make sure he gets a few tests and make sure he buys something like chocolate or whatever you like so that if for some reason you don't get the result you want at least you have some form of comfort near by.

SucksToBeMe · 17/11/2012 08:24

Good luck!

SoulTrain · 17/11/2012 08:26

When is he leaving? Where's the shop? Are you going with him? How do you feel about doing it in the loo at the supermarket?
