I've read all of the posts below and decided I need sleep as I can hardly remember what they said!
Beefjerkey, munz, if you want to cat me your addy, or to save a fiver, caddy if you still have my address forward it to munz, then she can mail me with her home address and I'll send you some jerkey, as our local sainsburys does it Grin

Nemo: I have emailed you. (I had nearly forgotten that you used to be mishi...) Why did you change your name? Have you seen the name thread today?

I am exhausted but unable to sleep. ARGH!!!! DD2 slept from midnight until 6 am and I was up all night with the DSs and waiting for her to need a feed. Very frustrating. Now I have been sat here for an hour listening to DH's alarm ring every nine minutes (he likes to hit snooze several times).

My day can only be an improvement on my night. Hope you are all well.

Rom: WHERE ARE YOU? Is it move time or has Romi got you running around like a chicken with your head cut off?

Bella: PLEASE do not worry about not posting the muslins. I am not desperate and you are pregnant. Take your time!

Bella23 · 26/04/2006 13:47

Hello everyone

Cad - finally pulled my finger out and have muslins with me today all packaged up. Will post today
Sorry to hear that you are sleep deprived. Lord am so nervous about that side of things as I'm the kind of person who malfunctions if lose only an hour - yikes!! There better be some serious hormones that kick in to help me with this or I'm stuffed!!

George - lovely to hear from you. To be honest pregnancy glow probably has more to do with St Tropez than anything else.....as soon as the sun comes out I realise I look like a corpse if I don't slap some on!

Hey Rom and DQ - we miss you, where are you ??

Wendy - what's the next plan? Please can you let us know how you are doing?

Debbsy - cool not too long to go until the scan then

Well love to the rest of you lovely ladies....best crack on with some work xxx

Debbsy · 26/04/2006 19:48

urghhh everyone getting morning sickness now lasting all day and all nite (well slight exaggeration) feels like it though.
Any tips please? tried arrowroot and ginger biscuits and even preggie pops making me feel sick now!!

Frizbe · 26/04/2006 21:07

Debsey, tiny sips of ginger ale (not beer!) got me thru it, hth's

Caddy hope you've managed to grab a small nap, or are you doing a matchstick eye thing?

Wondering what time dd1 will wake up here, as she fell asleep curled upto dd2's cot this afternoon, when we were trying to get them both to go to sleep, which worked for half hour for dd2! but dd1 stayed asleep......this was about 4pm.....dh carried her upto bed, without a peep, just very tired I think, but hoping its not a 5am start.....

Debbsy · 28/04/2006 08:52

ooohh ta frizbe tried that and lemon and ginger tea and i havent been really sick or up at 3am for 2 days :)

georgeandwigglyjake · 28/04/2006 13:43

Just checking in to see if M&MB has been for her scan. I hope everything is OK and we hear a bit later.

Oh Bella, sleep now whilst you have the chance!!! Grin My bodies mean trick, to prepare me, was to make sure I didn't get a proper nights sleep from about 6 months onwards. You get to have a lie in on mothers day but I think that is about it! Grin

Sorry about your sickness Debbsy, I wasn't too bad so no helpful advice from me I'm afraid.

Munz, have you tried the baby whisperer book at all for a sleep / eat routine. Oh how I love that woman, she saved me from going barmy from sleep deprivation. Smile

Right, my little treasure is moaning upstairs so I'd better be a good mummy and settle him.............

Munz · 28/04/2006 16:55

george - by day Joeys' fab, he's got himself onto the EASY thing quite well, 2.5 - 3 hourly feeds, he feeds we play then he zonks for an hour to hour and half, occassionally he'll sleep straight after a feed but it's not too often. it's the night time thing thou, althou I must admitt he's not too bad, he'll feed at about 8 ish then go to 1am ish if not 2 then is awake again at either 5 or 6 ish but that strech is normally only 4 hours. I confess to having him sleep oon the bed as well with me for the past 2 nights when I go off to sleep, then after his 1am feed he goes back in his crib.

friz - ooh DH would love u forever if u could manage that, i've already paid for the CAT if caddy's not mailed you my addy, but I don't mind if she has already. do u want the cash paypalling or I can trade u some welsh cakes or something - jsut thinking what we have here u won't have up there - DH did suggest a bit of lovely welsh lamb/beef but I don't think the postie would like it! lol. ooh or there's pembertons chocolate - like thorntons choccy but not as 'thick' and tastier! lol

cads - ooh I hate it when DH's do that don't u?? my DH insists on setting the alarm for 6.20 but won't get up till 7am for the bus at 7.30 - last time he did that b4 his leave, i'd just got joey back to sleep in the crib literally about 5 mins and the alarm woke him up crying again - was not impressed at all as DH kept pressing snooze. how long till the big move? i'll keep those PG tips for u, if u think of anything else - cadburys or anything i'll add it in (got a little collection going in my cupboard! lol)

bella - lol, get in all the sleep now u can hon, naps at work the lot! lol. u do get used to the sleep pattern but it takes a few weeks i'm only just getting sorted with it! lol.

debs - have u tried the ginger ale friz suggested or chedders also worked for me, then again my mate couldn't manage that and could only manage ice lolly's and a biccy b4 getting out of bed so I think it dep's on the person really. when's your scan agian?

has anyone heard form M&MB at all?

I'm sure ROm's moving you know, didn't she say she was moving when ROmi was 3 weeks old? and if Joey's 9 romi must be about 6/7 I think so it's probably that she's moved and not got a connection back, I can send a quick email opver if u want?

hows handbag coming on has she had her bean yet? she must be coming along - will pop off to the may thread for a nosey! (just read our thread, hope she's doing ok)

ok then off to the march thread then to find M&MB and then finally to clean the lav b4 the MIL comes down for the w/e and hopefully i'll manage a spot of dinner b4 Joey want's his next feed.

Debbsy · 28/04/2006 16:59

hiya munz hows joey doing?
Scan is 15th May

HandbagAddiction · 28/04/2006 17:27

I'm OK!!! It's now been a week since my hospital visit and nothing untoward has happened since. Today is my last day on client site work wise so it's been a bit manic. Given that I'm not a permanent member of staff, I was quite touched when my small department came up with some lovely goodies for me. I've been here nearly 12 months as a consultant so feel part of the team - but I know they pay highly for my services so to get some gifts on top was really lovely. So 4 weeks to go until delivery......and so mentally unprepared it's untrue.

Also under the strain of potty training....which is agonising!

Anyway - should have loads of time to catch up with everyones news in detail next week - but need to dash off for a train now.

Hope you all have great weekends

Debbsy · 28/04/2006 18:59

Handbag good to hear from you so glad you and bean are ok xx

MeAndMyBoy · 28/04/2006 21:31

Hellooo I'm here. George I am soooo impressed you remembered my scan was today :). All fine and dandy - just the 1 bean looked huge on the scan and MW just plonked the gadget on my tummy and there it was - I remember them really routing round to find DS. Saw the heart beat, but couldn't hear it, and saw it stretch and turn over right at the end - think it must have been asleep. My BIL has decided that it looks like it's holding someone at gun point!!

Starting to feel a bit better too, evenings are still fairly tough but the rest of the day is definately better.

Due between Halloween and Bonfire Night!!

Munz it's great to hear from you, sounds like you are doing well.

George sounds like you've got things sussed :). Yep I was the same everyone kept telling me about the sleep deprivation after having a baby - no one mentioned that it happened before as well! I really liked the EASY routine too, so much of what she says just made sense to me.

Handbag - your colleagues sound lovely what a nice surprise, is that you on Mat leave now? glad there haven't been any more scares for you.

Nemo hope H is doing ok, you and A too.

Bella just read (again) your suggestion about getting DS to guess the sex, will have to do that. He was so sweet at the scan today - said if the baby comes out of my tummy he will put it in his tummy to look after it. How are doing?

h x

georgeandwigglyjake · 28/04/2006 22:06

M&MB I am so pleased for you. Grin
I get very nervous and excited when scans come up. I know what a nerve racking experience they can be.
Just so delighted that it is good news for you. Smile

Frizbe · 28/04/2006 22:34

M&MB glad all went ok Smile
Debsey, glad it helped!
Munz, will cat you then! don't worry about anything in return, its fine, will grab some next week for you!
Gotta dash as dd1 just woken up again....having night terror type things me thinks, just got her to nod off once by pretending to give her an icecream?? also gotta feed dd2.....rush rush! dh also away for weekend, so not helping being on my own!

MeAndMyBoy · 02/05/2006 12:07

Hi just wanted to share this with you :) I've just felt the baby move - I've felt it a couple of times before but wasn't totally sure but this was very definate.

Cadmum · 02/05/2006 17:12

M&MB: Woo Hoo! Isn't is amazing to feel the little critter?

Friz: I hope your week-end without DH went well...

We spent the week-end in Washington and it all went really well. Our huge famil had fun; nobody got lost; everybody ate and slept well. SUCCESS!

Hope you are all well.

Wendy: Thinking of you... Hope you and your dh are well.

HBA: Glad that you have not had a repeat of the bleeding. How awful for you!!

Bella: How are you?

Nemo: I will post your pretzels as soon as I can coax DS1 off the couch. Poor lad has a big sinus headache today.

Take care of yourselves!

Frizbe · 02/05/2006 21:15

Grin M&MB fab isn't it!
Caddy, congrats on the weekend away! sounds fab, haven't 'done' Washington DC yet, on the list! have friends in Maryland, who keep insisting we decend, so in the next few years I suspect Smile
Debsey how's it going?
Nemo, DQ, Tabs, Rom, Munz, Bella, Wendy, Handbag, George hope your all well Smile
We just made it thru the weekend, dd bashed her teeth on saturday on a slate floor, been touch and go, but they appear to have re bedded themselves, cue lots of lack of sleep, mushed up food, crying etc.....kept her off nursery today and she appears to be virtually back to normal now, phew, as was dreading a child with no front teeth for 4/5 yrs and or the trip to the dentist.....

Cadmum · 03/05/2006 00:02

Bella: Guess who got a package in the mail today? Me! Thanks so much for the muslin squares and for the lovey note. Glad the clothes have helped out! How is that bump/bean?

Morning everyone

Cad - cool glad you got the package ok.
Bump doing really well, getting so big already, lord knows how big I am going to get......yikes!!
Am sat here at work in one of your tops so you were the first person that popped into my head this morning when getting dressed!

Debbsy - hiya honey, poor you on the sickness front, I know its no consolation when you feel sick as a dog that people tell you its a "good sign"!! I hope it passes soon.

Wendy - still thinking of you and your DH. Please come and tell us what path you are following?

Friz - gosh sounds very frightening on the tooth front but looks like the little one has just managed to get away with it...phew!

M&MB - wow lovely to hear that you are enjoying feeling movement. Its weird isn't it? Its nice and re-assuring though.

Well hope the rest of the gang are enjoying the sun.....as usual its here to stay for the rest of the week and then rain forecast for the weekend....oh the joy!! Might have to "work from home" tomorrow in order to enjoy the mini heat wave in the garden.

Debbsy · 03/05/2006 10:09

hi Bella how long have you got to go now?Glad you are both doing well.
I was just thinking about wendy to hope her and dh are ok xx has anyone heard from her?

Bella23 · 03/05/2006 11:25

Debbsy - still ages to go. Am at the half way mark on Friday so that's exciting!

MeAndMyBoy · 03/05/2006 14:05

Have you got a second scan booked Bella?

It is a weird feeling when they start moving, not quite sure how I feel about it to be honest I seem to have got to this point very quickly.

Bella23 · 03/05/2006 16:40

M&MB - yes scan booked for the 19th May @ 23 weeks. Am wishing away May to get to that date as DH and I have promised not to buy anything until after the scan......so once the 19th comes around it will be full steam ahead....hoorah!!Grin
