Hello Ladies

Poor Nemo – hope her sunburn clears up. Bless, poor you and her! I hope the chaos has calmed xx

Well had a lovely Easter, totally relaxed with lovely fish and chips in Brighton by the sea on Saturday. I am a cheap date I tell you, very easily pleased!
I can report that the bump is definitely getting bigger, funny how in the last couple of weeks its literally growing daily. Am pleased as no longer just looking a bit porky!!

Cad – still no sign of an e-mail from you with your address. These muslins need a home xx

Munz - how cute!

Friz - sorry you are feeling under the weather, hope its cleared up now.

Debsy - how are you doing?

Hey up to the rest of the gang – hope you are all enjoying yourselves and eating so much chocolate you feel sick!! I am guessing that George is managing this one!!Wink

Cadmum · 18/04/2006 17:20

Sorry Bella! I am perplexed because I am sure that I did reply to your email...Will try again. Perhaps I will CAT you this time instead.

Friz: Sorry that you are still poorly. DD2 is full of cold and I feel as though I am moments away from one as well. (probably helpful to offer her the anti-bodies though.)

I have been run off my feet with DB, SIL and DNephew... I have become quite a tour guide in New York City now. What a shame that I only have 5 weeks left here. The good thing is that all of our friends and family are promising to visit us there as well.

If any of you ever want to see Austria... You now have a place to call your home-from-home there.

Frizbe · 19/04/2006 07:09

Hi all I am gobsmacked today (and still full of cold, but that doesn't matter because...) dd2 took a 4oz bottle at 10pm, went to sleep by herself at 11pm in her cot, with no griping in between and slept until 6am,Grin woooo hoooooo Grin so happy had to go full on pumping to get a 4 oz bottle, but it appears to be the way forward!
Hope your all ok out there?
Caddy it is a shame your leaving NY, as it is a fab city, but so's Vienna so I understand, and you have two years there Grin and great access to the whole of europe for adventures, without the cost of flights, you lucky thing Grin

Nemo hope you had a better day yesterday, hows Hannah?

Bella, Brighton sounds fab Smile not been down that way for quite some time!

Bella23 · 19/04/2006 09:50

Cadmum - e-mail received and parcel arrived today, hoorah!!
I have e-mailed you back with my gracious thanks!!Grin

Bella23 · 19/04/2006 13:55

OOH Cad - have tried everything on and everything fits. Its so fab because there a couple of tops that if they were in a shop would never has tried on as I didn't think they would be "me" but now I have put them on absolutely love them!! Feel like a new woman - thanks so much!!

Cadmum · 19/04/2006 14:08

Bella: You are welcome! (Funny thing is that the gray and long sleeved black tops were chosen by DS2 (3 1/2 at the time) and I NEVER would have tried them on otherwise.) The capris were perfect for after as well since they have no panel. I originally had a much bigger package to be posted but it was $89 so with dd1's help, I narrowed it down to the 'best options' for the season and the least worn clothes.

Friz: Envy!!! I am finding that I have WAY too much milk again. Needed to express some yesterday as the growth spurt of last week is over and I was really uncomfortable. Managed 5 oz in less than 2 minutes. (I must be a dairy cow.)

Hope you are all well.

Munz: Did your Oreos arrive as well?

Debbsy · 19/04/2006 18:47

Hi everyone
Nemo how hannah?
Bella hows bump doing ?how long have you got to go now?
Frizbe Hi have you posted a piccie of your little girl yet?
Us should have scan date tomorrow will be 8 weeks on sunday mega sickness starts from 3am then comes back at lunchtime then just before dinner, also mega tired but see this all as good signs as a good strong pregnancy.
Cadmum Vienna how lovely have a safe journey xx

Frizbe · 19/04/2006 22:20

Caddy Envy of you! I soo wish I could express that ammt in a few minutes, I'm trying to stock the freezer with milk for a wedding in a few weeks and struggling to do it, although I could knock the bottle on the head, I'm reluctant to do that as it appears to be getting me a nights sleep!

Debsey, I shan't be posting a pic of dd2, as I have an online business and wouldn't want anyone weird to track down where we're at etc....

Cadmum · 23/04/2006 13:47

No posts since Wednesday?! Why has it gone so quiet?

Rom: Where are you. Hope you and baby are doing well...

Frizbe · 23/04/2006 22:31

Nemo1977 · 23/04/2006 22:33

Nemo1977 · 23/04/2006 22:34

OP posts:
Cadmum · 24/04/2006 03:12

Nemo: If you cannot find them there then I can post you some.

Not too sure of move date yet. Some time in June...

I am WAY too tired to function so I am off to my bed. I will need to sleep for a week now that my DB, SIL and DN have left. You should see the laundry pile in my room. More like Laundry Mountain! Guess I know what I am doing tomorrow...

HandbagAddiction · 24/04/2006 08:16

Sorry girls, been absent again for a while. Had a lbeeding episode on Thursday which lead to a night in hospital and threats of early delivery, steroid injections, etc. etc. They also got their knickers in a twist about my size and therefore growth claiming that I was measuring up to be quite small - this is a despite a scan 3 weeks ago which showed that everything was average and progressing well! Anyway - had to spend 24 hours in hospital, got severely cautioned to take things easier as they said I'm now at greater risk of this happening again....oh and I had another scan...which measures me absolutely correctly with an estimated weight of 5.5lbs already!

Will catch up with everyone elses news later and post again...just got a mountain of email to sort through now that I'm back at work.

Hope you're all OK though....xx

MeAndMyBoy · 24/04/2006 09:47

Morning sorry I've been awol for a while, everything has just been so busy! Handbag sorry to hear your scare and glad that it's all settled down for you now - back at work? hope you've got your feet up under the desk (nag nag).

Bella how's the bump going?

Cad sounds like you are being supermom still :), hope you are doing ok.

Friz how's life with 2 going?

Nemo sorry I haven't been in touch for a while I will mail soon. Hope H and A are doing well and that you are coping too. I can understand the wanting to TTC already - what the family thinks is only their opinion at the end of the day - you do what you want.

Debbsy - any news?

Wendy - if you still look in, I'm thinking about you and hoping that you are doing ok.

Munz hope life has settled down for you and that you are doing ok.

Hello to everyone else hope you are all coping and little ones are giving lots of smiles and joy.

Well I am now 12 weeks!!! have a scan on Friday, which I am starting to get a little anxious about in case something has gone wrong - we've had so many miscarriages on the November thread it's terrible. Nausea is starting to ease during the afternoon, but by 9.30 I start feeling yuck again. Other than that life is fairly normal and hectic :). Have decided that I will be leaving work in September so starting my Maternity leave early that way I can spend a few months at home with DS and focusing on the home business before bean arrives.

I'm fairly sure it's a girl, though we won't find out, and she'll be Sophie Rose. Still need to sort boys names though just in case.

Oh my goodness that's an essay sorry Blush. I'll go now before it turns into War and Peace.
Wishing lots of Sunshine for us all today.

h x

Bella23 · 24/04/2006 11:23

Morning ladies

Handbag - gosh, sorry to hear about your scare! You must have been very worried when you were admitted. Sounds like everything has calmed down now so hope its just a minor blip x

Me&Myboy - wow you are 12 weeks already, time is just flying!!

Well had my second midwife appointment this morning and heard the heartbeat, nice and reassuring, lovely!

I think if I dare say it that I am entering the blooming phase, a few friends have commented. I think its just because I am not so tired all the time and I have a bump to remind me that everything is going ok!

Cad - poor you with all that laundry, no fun there! Promise the get my act together and post your parcel this week. Sorry for being crap!

Nemo - Another already? wow, you go girl if that's what you wantGrin

Well lots of love to all the other girlies, hope you are all enjoying your bubs and the weather x

georgeandwigglyjake · 24/04/2006 19:58

Hello to all,
thought I'd better check in as the weeks are flashing past now. Jakey is 16 weeks old (and has still only managed to sleep through once!!) and I am besotted with the little monkey. Smile

Bella, I am delighted that things are going so well for you. Fancy blooming during pregnancy - I thought that was a myth. Now remind me, how many weeks are you.

M&MB, everything crossed for your scan. 12 weeks have flown past. Can't wait to see a picture of your little bean.

Sorry you have had a scare Handbag. Glad things seem to be back on track though.

Caddy, can't believe you are off again Shock For a homebody like me, your moves would be a nightmare. What a great experience for the kids though.

Rom, no doubt up to your neck in the world of babies. Hope Romi is well and you are doing fine. I think living on a diet of G&B is almost compulsary for the first few weeks. Smile

Wendy, hope you still check in. You are in my thoughts, I hope you and your DH are having a happier time lately.

Right off again, my evening expressing calls.....

Debbsy · 24/04/2006 20:20

Wow and you were asking where everyone was eh Caddy Grin hope the mountain has been miraculously moved by the laundry faries??

Debsey, date, fab, does it all seem more real now?? Smile

Bella great to hear your doing well Grin and you too George and the lovely wiggly Jake!

Handbag Shock scarey scare, but all is good now, so please make sure you take it easy or you'll have us all worrying about you!

M&MB, wishing you lots of good vibes for Fridays scan Smile

Munz, Rom, DQ, Tabs, where are you?

Munz · 25/04/2006 12:51

hay girls, just a quick note,

BIL donw so time's limited. Joey's had his jabs today poor might scremed so much, I was crying with him. anyhow, back down stairs for nice cuddles and for him to have a suckle - I know it's bad but i'd rather he suckle on my boob than the dummy today!

caddy - the parcel came - DH is mortified thou they took the jerky out, so I got the oreos all to my self! lol. thahts v much hon, I have your PG tips at the ready - Morrisons are seeling them with a groovy tin at the mo, so let me know once you get to austria, unless you'll be in NY for another few weeks and I can send it on to you now.

Cadmum · 25/04/2006 13:48

Munz: Glad you got the package. They took the beef jerky out?!?! RUDE! I guess that they are worried about BSE. The package clearly stated that it was from certified beef etc etc but in the end the customs guys must know what they are doing. Sorry about that. I wonder if I will get it back? A groovy PGTips tin sounds great! I will be here (and in Ottawa) for another couple of weeks but would prefer to have you hold off as my brother just brought me some tea so I won't have time to drink it all before the big move... Thanks in advance!

We have had a rough couple of nights. DD2 just doesn't want to go to sleep until 1:30 ish. She sleeps well once she is out but it is agony trying to stay awake with her until the wee hours. Of course she sleeps soundly until 10:30 am after a quick feed around 7:30 but by then I need to be up with the other three.

Off for another exhausted day. Thankfully, it is really lovely outside so we can be at the park all afternoon,

Hope you are all well.

Nemo1977 · 25/04/2006 16:49

cadders would be willing to send the choccie pretzels and you just let me know what you want in return..or can send money via paypal or something. Looked on ebay and they want £2 for a bag and then a whopping £6 to post them..Angry

OP posts:
Cadmum · 25/04/2006 17:14

Nemo: RIDICULOUS! They sell them at the shop just next door. I will happily post you some. (Let's hope they won't open the package as they did Munzie's...) CAT me your address. I cannot think of anything that I would like in return yet but I am likely to be desperate for all things English once I am in Vienna. ( I cannot head to the post office today as DS1 has a bad cold and is glued to his bed.)

DH got the official offer this morning so this is all really coming together. [fear emoticon] We have a lot of work to do in order to be ready to move. EEEK! Thankfully, I have sorted a spot in a Montessori nursery for DS2! Now I just need to register the big two at the international school and then it will be down to Charlie and I... Sounds lonely compared to this chaos.

Munz · 25/04/2006 17:41

lol no problems cads, the jerky - we had a lovely little letter inside, they said that it's detromental to the UK agriculture, and they had to safe guard our livestock - WTF it's dried beef strips! lol. anyhow I thought it was rude still not to worry! they seem to be ok with any food thta's not meat based.

are u managing to get any extra sleep by day at all? i'm finidng having a 2 hour power snooze in the afternoons is really helping.

well so far today Joey's fed at 11am properly, then has been asleep all day, he's stired woken up wanted a cuddle when i've been eating/ a nappy change and has then promtly gone off to sleep - so i'm exprecting a v rough night and up all night with him - well DH can be, there's two bottles of EBM in the freezer, one in the fridge, and I need to go do another one - althou I did want Joey to feed this time, just wondering if to wake him/try to bring him around, althou tbh i'd rather he slept.
