Hope nobody minds me starting a new thread but I only get 5 mins at a time to read and post and the thread is taking me that long to read and then when I click add message it takes forever.

hiya- nemo you arent alone, we wont be having anymore after this one- we r both adament we only want 2....

but i wish you all good luck with the whole ttc lark again!!!- hope its shorter for you all this time

Oh Nemo - one of my friend's dh had a vasectomy this week. She was telling me that he was told he has to wank 3 times a week every week for 3 months, starting 48 hours after the op. Poor bloke was too sore to even touch it 48 hours after! Had to laugh!

ill be going for number 3 at some point in 2007 too..... just trying to hold out until the summer because i HATE being pregnant in the summer - its too damn hot and uncomfortable! Done it twice, and vowed never again!

nemo/one and bump - DH is saying now we're only be having 2, but I want 4, so i'm gutted that next timew is potenitally the last time i'll be PG - althou he's changed his mind on this since J came along, so we shall see! lol.

looks like they'll be a fare few of us TTC then! lol.

jarm - remember april! lol - althou I might well be tempted before then - not sure i'll hold out till then! lol. I fell with J in the july, which was a nice time, as I was big over the xmas period! lol.

debs - how are you feeling today hon?

Yawn morning ive just got up and no excuse really as ive preactically slept all night too,must still be catching up from weds nite.Just a few niggles from me bit of backache but thats all.Does anyone know when you are asked to phone the hospital as ive got to at 8am mon morning to see if theres a bed do you ten go in that day? they wont give me a day to go in like tues or weds will they as i will be 14 days over on mon.

I didn't think they let you go longer than 14 days over?? althou not sure about the bedding situation - could you perhaps ring on sunday night to see if it's likeyl you'll be going in on monday so you can be properly prepared?

more bloody contractions been in the bath 2 hrs had cococodomol contractions at every 5 mins v v painful oh well looks like im in for a long nite.xx

Is there anyone there please? im in that much pain i can hardly type this ,started with 5 min contractions at 1am this morning,also had sickness and diahoe had 2 baths,cocodomol,nothing shifted these pains they were crippling me,phoned hospital they said i could come in if i wanted to but tey wouldnt give me anything else until labour was established and it sounded to her that i was still in early labour.The pain though now is excruiciating doubles me over i have had no sleep and they are not every 5 mins now they are getting longer,but is it right to be in this much pain? it also makes me shake from head to foot the pain is that intense.

oh debs. when i was in labour with milo i was in agony but "stuck" at 2cms dilated ( which apparently isnt established labour!) but i went to the hospital ad they did give me gas and air. they told me to keep active and as soon as i got to 3cm was allowed pethadine (which id personally never have again).

The whole labour thing is torture- id be inclined to go to the hospital anyhow- you ll be there tomorrow - so why not let them sort you out a day earlier . Just keep active, as soon as you lie on that bed sweetie the whole thing just slows down- trust me i was there for 3 days before milo made an apperance!

it often amazes me what m/w's come out with - mine told me I wasn't really in pain when I was in labour - WTF how do they know???

doh typed a big responce as well and only the end came out- nayhow was saying,

get to the hospital now, even iof only for a check up. I also was allowed G&A from 2cm as I was in a lot of pain - once you have that thou apparently (or least in mine) they wouldn't let me go home.

agree with S thou keep as active as you can, breath thru the pain and focus on holding bibby. fingers x'ed for u

Aww debsy huge hugs to you and hope you are now in the throws of labour!!! I know how frustraing it is to go over by 14days as thats how late A was.

My midwife kept asking me what I wanted to do when I got to hospital with DS2 - I could barely catch my breath between contractions they were coming so fast and I was in the middle of transition - how the bloody hell did I know what I wanted to do - I didn't even know how far dilated I was - I'd only been in labour 2 and a bit hours at that point and thought I had hours to go.

Go debbsy - will keep watching this evening hope someone can let us know sooooooon
