{{{{Hugs}}}} Caddy, I wish you were in this country, then we could all pop over to help! if I say to dh I'm hopping on a plane to AT to help Caddy with her house, he'll have me sectioned still its not long till Saturday now, one more day to go and your mum will be here to help

Debsey, re the sleep, are you doing the on one side thing with leg over rest of duvet (dh can get his own right!) as you need lots of lower leg support I find towards the end of pregnancy, helps with sleep a bit, also try not to eat after 8pm latest, so heartburn etc don't disturbe sleep (easier said than done right)

georgeandwigglyjake · 13/10/2006 09:39

Caddy, hope your DS2 is feeling better and his mystery illness hasn't progressed to anything horrid.
Are you feeling any brighter?

Debbsy, I remember that insomnia well. Apparently it is your body getting your ready for many more sleepless nights once the baby arrives (which to be fair it does). Pretty grim going at the time though. Can you have a couple of sick days if you are really knackered or make up a few anti-natal appointments. You must be really careful with all your driving.

Bella, how are you doing? Hope you are doing OK and Tabitha is being a gem for you.

Jakey is still teething here (surely there must be something to show for it soon) so I'm off to put him in the creche for a couple of hours (bad mummy )

jakesbadmummy · 13/10/2006 09:42

Thought I'd go mad and have a name change!!

Cadmum · 13/10/2006 09:49

George You are NOT to call yourself a bad mother. Now change your name back NOW! or I shall change mine to Crazymum...

Thanks for asking after DS2.
He is still as pale as a ghost but he is acting more like a monkey so he must be picking up. We are down to one nap a day and some nights he claims that he is not ready for bed which is really saying something since even last week he was falling asleep anywhere and everywhere. The pead wanted to hold off on further testing because he was sure that it was likely viral so I am pleased that he is slowly bouncing back.

DebbsyandBibby · 13/10/2006 10:07

jakesbadmummy · 16/10/2006 14:11

LOL Caddy
Can't change it back today as I have packed him off to bed with a dose of Medised as he has been teary all morning (teething again). Bad mummy wants a bit of peace!!!
Has your mum arrived now? Has it made things a bit easier or at least given you a shoulder to cry on?

Debbsy, glad you got some sleep. My drink was Horlicks when I was pregnant. Got though gallons of the stuff in my attempt to get to sleep. Not had so much of a sip of it since though.

I do hope things are OK in the Bella household and you and Tabitha are well.

DebbsyandBibby · 16/10/2006 19:05

decided to take eveyones advice and ive started mat leave earlier im now finishing on the 1st instead of the 8th feel sooooo much better just knowing ive got a week less to do

oneandbump · 16/10/2006 19:32

Good on you debs- i finished 2 weeks earlier than i wanted to with milo because of the same thing. With Alfie im finishing at 35 weeks.

Been a bit busy of late- birthday yesterday and had to go into Daycare today for a glucose intolerance test for gestational diabities but it turned out ok and they im "normal"- dh doesn t agree though! .

Bella- hope things are going better with Tabitha- the 1st few weeks are really always the worst, dont know many people who actually enjoy the newborn stage!

Hi to everyone else

Frizombie · 16/10/2006 20:57

Glad all is ok with the GTT oneandbump!
Debsey, yeah! for finishing earlier, I finished 5 weeks early with dd1 and then she was another 5 days late couldn't have carried on tho, and very glad of the rest before my life went mad forever
Bella, hope all is going ok
Hi Caddy, Rom, Munz, DQ, CSWS, Nemo, George, M&MB and who ever else is out there!

DebbsyandBibby · 20/10/2006 18:55

8 days to go yay!!!!

jakesbadmummy · 20/10/2006 19:30

That time will go so quickly Debbsy then it's feet up and chocolate time!!!
I finished as soon as I could (11 weeks ) and was so glad.

Jake is still teething here so am going round the bend - please tell me it ends at some point.

I've also broken out in mouth ulcers on my gums, tongue, roof of mouth, and they are horrible. I didn't know it was possible to get so many. I've been out and bought lots of vitamin c and zinc in an attempt to blast my immune system.

Hope everyone is looking forward to a good weekend.

MeAndMyBoy · 20/10/2006 21:22

lol Debbsy - so cool you are finishing earlier, I have been really concerned with you driving round feeling the way you have been.

JakesMummy - sorry I refuse to call you by your full name - you are NOT a bad mummy. I did smile at you dosing J up with medised - it's kept mine and DS sanity on several occasions when he's been teething but then he did make a right mountain out of it poor chap.

Caddy hope having your Mum over is making a difference and you are getting some sleep and lots done so you feel a bit more in control of things. Hope your Mum is doing ok too.

Friz how you doing?

O&B glad your GDD came back ok and hope you are feeling fit and well.

Nemo how are you doing?

Well I have a grand total of just under 2 weeks til my due date gulp! we have now packed my hospital bag - 1 suitcase this time, I took mountains last time and didn't use half I don't think. You can guarantee that I'll need a lot more than I'm taking this time.

Hello to everyone else hope you are doing ok,Bella hope you are getting used to Tabatha and things are calming down for you - please come on here to rant if you need to - there will be nothing that you will say that one of us won't of thought/felt before I promise .

CadAVREmum · 21/10/2006 04:17

M&MB I cannot believe that you only have 2 weeks to go. Where has the time gone. How are you feeling? Well done for being so prepared. I don't think that I have ever had my bag packed 2 weeks out.

Bella: Is Tabitha still keeping you running? I hope that things have settled to an acceptable level.

Munz: How are you? I have missed your posts. Hope you are settling in and enjoying your wee man. Did I read somewhere else that you are thinking of baby #2?

Medised does not a bad mummy make! If it does then I am the worst. We should have bought shares when DS2 was a baby!! I hope that Jake's teeth give you both some peace soon!

So here it is 5:00 and I am awake. ARGH! How many nights in a row can I pull this off? Thank heavens my mum is here to drag me through the days. Still not too sure how I will manage when she goes home on the 31st. Thankfully DH and the kids are still home until November 6th so by then I hope to be able to sleep at least...

The house is looking better though. Down to the last 20% which is more organized than we were in our last 2 places.

Take care of yourselves.

Frizombie · 21/10/2006 22:56

Caddy great that house is looking loads better you'll be fine, your great remember that!

M&MB wow 2 weeks is that all where'd the time go

Debsey 8 days left at work, wooo hooooooooo

Jakesmummy, I did read somewhere on mumsnet that loads of mouth ulcers can be caused by same virus that causes coldsores, could it be that? might be worth getting quack to check?

Frizombie · 21/10/2006 22:58

M&MB sorry thanks for asking, ok here thanks, although cousins ds has passed away today
Dh has treated me to a lovely day at Meadowhall getting new slimer me clothes, winter coat and boots, so I have nothing to complain about (well apart from those gits who were letting fireworks off earlier, scaring dd2 and keeping her awake...)

NastyNemo666 · 21/10/2006 22:59

hi everyone hows it going????

Friz how are your lovely ladies???
Cadyd hope everything is a little better with your mums visit.
Munz saw about little mans nappy rash hope iyt clears soon.

hope everyone else is ok.

Not a lot going on here..H is close to walking and can take one step before falling onto her bum..lol A is doing well although getting far to cheeky for his own good. Have stupid GTT on monday which is pain in bum as then on tues have the iron level bloods...sigh. Typically Dh is away until thurs aswell so have to drag gruesome twosome with me but never mind. Apart from that all quiet on the nemo front!!

Frizombie · 22/10/2006 07:46

Hi Nemo

Great news re the nearly walking!
My lovely ladies are fine thank you, dd2 is standing up and attempting to stand on her own this am, she's not realised she can't do it yet, so I keep hearing a dull thump from the front of the sofa.....dd1 is chattering away like a good un, she's 3 in a week and a half, where did that time go

DebbsyandBibby · 22/10/2006 13:24

hi all ill catch up later xx

Bella23 · 22/10/2006 14:05

Thanks ladies for thinking of me.
Well things have finally settled down here, feel like I have a handle on things at last. I have Tabitha in a bit of a routine so know at least what she is feeling etc.
My mum is coming back in a week to stay again for 2 weeks - ye ha! Means I can get my hair done, have a facial etc - bliss!

George - poor little Jake, hope his teeth settle down soon. I think you must be a bit run down to have such ulcers, make sure you get some Berrocca down your neck - I swear by them!

Caddy - how are you doing? Up at 5am????

Sorry have to be quick as DH is calling me through to an explosive nappy incident.......

MeAndMyBoys · 22/10/2006 17:34

Hi just a quick post will catch up properly later umm you know I said I had 2 weeks to go?

DS2 was born last night at 7.10pm called Sam George, weighs in at 6lb 4oz - very cute and such a good boy last night while all around were creating havoc on the ward. Just been let home whoopee!!

Bella: I am glad that things are starting to settle into a routine for you. I am pathetic for being up at 5 am; I really dn't know what the heck is up with that rubbish.

I will need to istall a baby gate soonest as Cadbaby is on the move. What a doll for waiting until the house was sorted. She is so kind to me!
