how are you mandmb xx
bad bad day at work today weve switched over to link codes and some of my customers have missing orders and no hope of tracking them grrrrr so my phone has been red hot today as you can imagine with ears to match lol

Bella23 · 28/09/2006 18:57

well ladies - am feeling very sorry for myself
have been having very strong pains since 4.30am this morning. Basically I have contraction every couple of mins and then in between them bad pelvic pain because the baby is laying to the side so the head can't properly get down.
M/W says I just have to grin and bear it and wait for baby to move etc. Basically I can't sit down at all as its too painful - been walking around and been on all fours all day.
have cried twice at prospect of a whole night with this pain and no sleep.
Sorry am prattling on - just feeling very sorry for myself as i don't see an end in sight.
Any suggestions?

georgeandwigglyjake · 28/09/2006 19:33

Oh Bella, you poor thing.
Jake tried to come nose first so I got stuck in the same kind of situation, contracting but not dilating for hours.
Have you tried a bath at all? Just wondering if the warm water might help at all if you can submerge your bump at all.
What about a birthing ball? Might be a bit more comfy to try to rest on.
I would probably try calling the hospital & speak to the midwife who picks up there. They may have a different view of things and might give you some tips / hints.
Oh sweetheart, I hope things get better for you.
