All good here. DD is crawling and pulling herself up to standing already (7.5 months), so have a feeling she's going to be an early walker. She's much happier for being able to get around though, so I reckon it's a good thing despite her constantly going for all the loose cables/bits of paper that are lying around!

Right need to go bake DH a birthday cake for tomorrow, DS is supposed to be helping but feel asleep in the car and is crashed on the sofa currently lol.

CantSleepWontSleep - due date was last friday so a week over today. Am going to aim for lots of rumpy pumpy as well this weekend to see if we can coax this little one out!

ermmm everything lol i have made 2 lists a bibby to get list and a bibby got list so as i remember everything as im getting very forgetful now so every time i get someting i copy and paste it over to the got list Debbsy reports there are only 10 things to get on the bibby to get list yahooo!!
Just didnt want to have a last minute rush as last few weeks just want to relax and not worry that have i got this? have i got that?
and i must admit it does make me feel calmer knowing ive nearly got everything lol

Bella hoping you are in labour as I type..both mine have been born on a friday and are very laid back..lol

Hope everyone else is ok..good to see a lot of old faces popping on for updates.

Been a bit hectic here..went to centre parks last weekend which was great but H started with a bad chest which ended up in a ambulance run to hospital on wed night. She is ok now and has a course of steroids to take but my hopes of her growing out of the infantile asthma seem to be dashed. A is a cheeky monkey who is into everything and I cant believe he is 3 in a couple of weeks. Lovely little boy who sometimes I would prefer to give away..lol He loves his playgroup which is great as it is nice to have some 1-1time with H before baby comes.Speaking of which I am now 24wks..when did that happen????!!!??? However baby is measuring 3wks bigger so lets hope it was just a little growth spurt or will have the threatened 11lber they said H would be...lol

Nemo, there's still lots of chance she'll grow out of it, so try not to worry too much {{{Hugs}}} although it must have been very scarey at the time, I think I posted on your other thread about it?

Had a sweep this morning from the midwife so you never know .......9 days overdue now and counting!
Just heard from NCT group and looks like we are the last ones......typical!
Do you think I will ever go into labour????.....starting to think its just a cushion up there!![GRIN]

nemo - poor you , sounds like a franctic time with your little one...hope she is ok now.

Nothing wrong with being last Bella - means you can learn from the others' mistakes and successes as they will all be a little ahead of you! I was last by several weeks in my group, as they all had their babies a couple of weeks early, and DD was late as well as being the last due!

Have you got a deadline before they start wanting to induce you?

bellaI remember that feeling that everyone else around me was popping but I wasnt. A was 14days over when I was induced and turned up the next day. At the time it was horrible to know I was sitting there feeling like a time bomb but then got to a point where I thought it was never going to happen. Hugs to you and just try to relax.

Right Bella here's the checklist as far as I know....although if MW did sweep ok, I'm guessing cervix was ok or she'd have told you she couldn't do it, so probably not long now anyway!
Things to do to get baby out! Curry, Chilli, Chilli Sauce on everything (edible and digestable!) someone once said chinese on here as well? Pineapple - Whole Fresh one, Rasp Leaf Tea, Sex, Sex and more Sex, Long Walks, walk like a crab up and down stairs as many times as you can without injuring yourself! wiggle on that ball at all times to get head as low as possible.

don't do castor oil, its ick and you really shouldn't.....

And don't know if it'd be true with you, but before I dropped my 1st I went off my food! although I don't remember that 2nd time around?!

Go girl, lets get this little one out before they think about induction....

Well not a single twinge after yesterday's sweep.
I am booked in on Friday for a scan etc to see if all is ok and then at that point would discuss induction etc depending on assessment of placenta and baby etc.

Frizbe - tried most things but not the crab thingy so will have a go today. have been doing the sex part even though hormones seem to be keeping down any sexual desire I may have !!

Nemo - its reasurring to hear that yours was 14 days overdue as I am starting to get a little anxious that this length of time overdue is abnormal etc
