Nemo you don't have a chance everyone knows babies always arrive on a fri/sat (frizbe waves bait and waits for onslaught of babies born on other days)

Bella, I know it sounds ick, but its worked for loads of people I know so lots of all fours for optimal positioning then and ball wiggling any twinges yet?
Have you primed dh to log on and tell us all what's going on?

so its oneandbump now, argh I'm totally loosing track of everyones name changes

all well here today, hurrah, am combining domestic goddess with slight bit of work

to update cousins lo had his shunt operation yesterday and is progressing well, fingers x'd he's out of the woods soon, although they're still not aware of what's caused it, hosp are getting him fixed 1st.....

Bella23 · 11/09/2006 15:47

Friz - ok shall try my best.
Am doing the ball action but haven't been on all fours - shall give that a go.
No twinges at all so far - think i shall definately be here this time next week!

Keeping fingers crossed for your cousin's LO
Yep have DH primed to tell you all when the arrival happens

Cadmum · 12/09/2006 09:23

Just a quick hello. Still no internet from home yet. I am going silly without it but i should try to use the time to sort out the house, right?

Bella, thinking of you and praying that it is quick and painfree. (well, as much as possible anyhow.)

Thank you all for your kind words of encouragement. Making it through the first week of children back at school felt like an accomplishment so I hope it gets better soon. I am still feeling really emotional and blue but I am so glad that we are all here together and that we are healthy.

DH is being very kind to me ATM so that sure helps.

Nemo1977 · 12/09/2006 09:26

cad meant to add the other day am sorry things are rough for you...I am always in awe of you and how you manage to relocate your family in foreign countries etc as it is something I would never be able to do..you are a brave lady.

Bella hope you are ok and not getting too restless

hope everyone else is ok

boring here although first morning I have come home after dropping A off and its weird..surprising how quiet it is when only have one child to contend with..lol Should be putting time to good use but am mn ing instead

Cadmum · 12/09/2006 09:38

Thanks Nemo. I am not much to be in awe of this morning as I am once again a puddle of tears wondering what the heck I am doing in this mess.

You are very kind to offer your kind words.

I am glad that A is liking his school. Our DS2 is not so sure and DS1 (9) is hating his at the moment which is really breaking my heart. I wish that we were just normal people with normal lives. I would so love to live near family and friends instead of this chaos.

I agree about the quiet household with only 1. I wish that I could focus on her and the house instead of worrying about the others. (What good the worrying does is WAY beyond me obviously!!!)

Take care of yourselves. I have just popped Charlotte back into her carseat and I need to race off home before she is miserable. Bye until next week.

georgeandwigglyjake · 12/09/2006 10:11

Hello again all,
Thank you for not shoving me back out the door.

So hard trying to catch up so I think I'll just wing it from here.

Cadmum, so that is how many moves in the last year? Am I right in thinking you are in Vienna now? How do you cope with the new language or can you speak a few anyway?

Nemo, how is your new bump? How many weeks for you now? Hope things are going well for you.

Friz, domestic goddess? What have you been baking? No sign of a domestic goddess in this house unles you count steaming veg at all hours of the day.

Bella, make the most of this time by sitting back and eating as much chocolate as possible and sleeping whenever you can.
Have you bought some Lansinoh? If you are thinking of b/f it is a lifesaver. (That is my handy tip for today!

Hi M&MB and oneandbump hope you are both Ok.

Any sign of Rom or DQ these days?
Must change my name as Jakey isn't so wiggly, more keen on bouncing these days.

Frizbe · 12/09/2006 21:20

Nemo, hope A's day was good?

Caddy, your doing great hon {{{{{Big Hugs}}}}}} for the next time you get to log on and chat to us all. Your poor 9 year old is probably going thru it, as I'm guessing its the 1st time he's moved to a country where he's been old enough to be bothered that the 1st language isn't English, but he'll get settled soon and one day he'll thank you for giving him such a varied childhood

George, nah not baking domestic, just cleaning domestic!

munz · 13/09/2006 13:53

lol@ bella - ok her'es what I did to get it moving. went out for a 2 hour walk with the dogs on the sunday - got stressed cos one ran off and I thought she'd died. tuesday I told my M/W I was gonna go over as I hadn't had any BH's or anything, tues night broke a lid and had a major row with DH cos of his work sending him away the week after again, sat on my ball as well and did a jigsaw up to the coffee table, then waters went 9am ish on the weds morning jeoy born 2.37 thurs morning so fingers crosed for u honney it's quick and easy as can be expected

caddy - (((hugs))) got all your bits now so am going to send you parcel off in the next day or so. remember choccy is for women only cos LO's and DH's especiaslly don't appriciate the value to it! lol.

aqnyhow just a quick one again, all's manic here every one wants to see the boy/play with him no one wants to let him sleep/i'm up all night again with him - still sunday he went from 7.30-6.30 straight thru (well I got up at 12 to put his dummy in and then that was him) was most supprised when DH's alarm went off! lol. still boy's letting me know he's boss at the mo! lol.

can't wait to get back home on sat and back to BB instead of dial up!

Bella23 · 13/09/2006 14:09

Caddy - sorry to hear that there are settling in worries at the moment, try to just go with the flow and I am sure things will settle down.

Well saw M/W this morning and the baby has moved to posterior which means back to back - YIKES!!

So looks like all your advice was right and I am now going to spend my days on all fours with my bum wiggling in the air!!

Munz -LOL at your labour story. I think I need to up my excerise as have been a little bit of a lazy pig at the moment which is not helping the position of the baby - oops!

One of my cats is still following me round which makes me think he knows something more than I do. Usually he is off doing his own thing but has been really clingy lately like he's protecting me!

Frizbe · 13/09/2006 21:59

Don't worry Bella baby will shift, the cat certainly sounds on the case tho sitting backwards on a chair (with its back in front of you) is supposed to help somehow as well I remember.....
Munz, fingers x'd family chill out a bit for you soon! over activated babies are a nightmare to settle you have my sympathies.
Hi everyone else!

romilly · 13/09/2006 22:39

hi girls! a massive sorry for the long absence but i dont know where the days go!

bella so excited for you. oops, posterior.... just like me my little one did turn during the birth, it just took rather a long time! my tip of the day would be ... epidural good luck hon, enjoy every minute, such a special time coming up.

Bella23 · 14/09/2006 16:42

Good to hear that my posterior little one might move then, have been out walking lots today as MW said that was good and might embark on some sex to get this little one moving. Might need a manual for that though as its been so long since we last had a shag!!

Bella23 · 18/09/2006 09:38

Morning ladies - no, still here with no signs of anything happening!! I reckon it will be a while yet. Seeing the midwife on Friday so might have a sweep then to see if we can get things moving!

georgeandwigglyjake · 18/09/2006 11:17

Good morning to everyone.
Hi RosyLizzie (Hereshoping), glad you are doing OK.
A Jake free morning today as DP has taken him off shopping - ahhhh, bliss!

Bella, go and make an appointment to have your hair cut, that usually starts things off nicely.

Munz, how old is Joey now? Jake is showing no sign of moving still, might have to start putting his food at the other end of the room, that might make him a little more keen.

Time for me to put my feet up I think and make the most of my free day!!

dramaqueen72 · 20/09/2006 19:44
