Frizbe · 01/09/2006 23:59

No thanks DQ I shall stick to my two and occasional 3 (ss!)
All fine here thanks, dd2 is a dream another good reason not to have any more just incase they turn out scarey! dd1 is having 'isshooos' with dd2 at the mo again, but only to be expected with that constant vi for attention thing as 2.10 and 6mths........

Oh my goodness there are so many founder members coming out of the woodwork today lol.

Hi J&RM - 10mths!!!! completely agree where did that go?

Hope everything is good with you. I'm doing well currently 31ish weeks pg and now on mat leave and gearing up to start DS at preschool next wednesday - gulp.

h x

Bella23 · 02/09/2006 15:09

DQ - great to hear from you, gosh can't imagine my life with just the one yet never mind 4 - hats off to you!! can't believe Daisy is 8 months already.

Jessicaandrebeccasmummy - sounds like life is hectic for you as well. A friend of ours who has just had their 3rd baby and no has 3 under 4 asked if i wanted to go for the weekend to get some experience - I decided i didn't need a reality check - at this stage I would rather be naive and in ignorant bliss!

DebbsyandBibby - take advantage and sleep as i am so frustrated now that I have the chance to sleep when I like but can't due to being so uncomfortable and my hips hurting and the endless trips to the loo!!!

MeAndMyBoy - lucky you starting maternity leave @ 31 weeks - enjoy.

Well I am guessing that my hormones are gearing up as am finding it impossible to watch anything remotely sad on TV without blubbing and once started the tears seem to take on life of their own, very strange!! The other night I cried when one of my cats was nowehere to be seen for 10 mins - was convinced he had been run over but he's only been missing 10 mins - I dramatically told DH I thought my heart was breaking - this is when he pointed out that perhaps it was a hormone thing!!

Right well hope you are all doing something lovely over the weekend.....xx

MeAndMyBoy · 02/09/2006 15:43

Sorry had to dive off before I'd finished the post DS wanted sorting out.

DQ it's great to hear from you and that you are loving 4 kids . Mad lady lol. Although I did spring a question about having more than 2 kids on DH the other day and 10/10 he didn't run away.

Frizbe · 02/09/2006 20:29

Bella its a sad thing about the hormones, but actually what they don't tell you is they never sort themselves out, you will cry at anything even vaguely upsetting on tv forever!

munz · 03/09/2006 10:33

ah bella yes remeber it well - I took our dogs for a walk down the river - one of which little mare ran off, I couldn't bloody find her, had my speach prepared for DH and everything as to how I was gonna tell him i'd lost his dog, was crying whilst waddling after her! lol - little cow anne came back thou and DH found it highly amusing, then 2 days later I dropped a blue baking tray on to the floor form the draining board, it was litterally crying inside but laughing cos it was so stupid iycwim, alls because it matched my set! lol. still on the positive side, the walk was the sunday the broken pan was the mon/tues (can't remember which) waters broke weds am joey born thurs am so fingers cross it's not long for u now.

MM - awwww a little boy, alfie I love that name.

debs - I personally don't rate the whole measuring thingy esp after the scare the stupid m/wgave my friend about her bump - silly cow, anyways if u're having plenty of movements and a good solid heart beat, that's the main thing I think anyways.

ooh nemo - same q's for u hon - any errotic dreams/morning sickness etc?

DQ - bloody hell 8 months! althou Joey's 6 now where has the time gone?? so any more for u then any time soon??

Jarm - ello bird! lol. erm lets think, CSWS/friz/rom/me as u know are feb/march babies, as is cadmum who's moved from the USA to Austria (althou her net was down at last check)

Bella/MM&B/Debs/Milosmum/Nemo are all due in that order of births I think, the last 2 are some hwere near the 20 week point and bellas due any time really.

and all u older gals who have long had ur babies have dropped off a bit lol. so not sure what u girls are up to.

things here are going well, just upped the boy's solids and am giving him 3 meals a day now as well as 2 boob feeds and 3 bottles - little porker (althou bottles are 7 oz each I think boobs are breakfast/evening) little buggers still not sleepin thru but he will one day - and no future children I have can be as hard work as he is - surely?? lol. the house is OK. pretty basic thou cna't have a dishwasher any more it's tiny compareed to my old one, DH loves this one althou i'm not convinced. the gardens twice the size thou. still least Joey seems to have settled some what. tomorrow we're trying the P&T group so watch this space!

Frizbe · 03/09/2006 19:45

OMG Munz, no dishwasher, arrrrgggghhhhhhh its a must when you have little un's, petition the army for a bigger gaff! Good about the garden tho I think, at least for next summer! and twice the space to get snow for snowmen in winter

Ello all!

munz · 03/09/2006 20:49

friz this is the saaaarrrrffffff i'm living in now no such luck for me - nor welsh cakes either (well a pathetic excuse for them which are horrid ) also no decent butchers - he gets his meat from scotland! gotta swop the dishwasher for a tumbler thou.

Frizbe · 04/09/2006 07:20

meat from Scotland WTF? so much for local food n all that food miles stuff
Hope your enjoying being nearer your folkes again tho hon and at least you get a tumbler too, always good in the British Climate....

munz · 04/09/2006 08:50

lol, we did have one but got rid of it cos tbh it was crappy - took 2 hours to dry anything but for £50 and about 15 years old (by the time we got rid of it can'ty really moan)

I know about the meat - i'm soooo depressed about it - i'm used to local farmers whio are 95% organic! lol. it's a big big shock! (esp as I get less for my money here! )

anyhow how's ur uncle? and news on the new arrival of the family? I can really empathise with the tears. poor lamb must be devestated.

Frizbe · 04/09/2006 09:05

Uncle's stable now thanks although my mum and her brothers, his wife, in fact the whole of the rest of the family are thinking the worst still, but personally I think he'll be fine, he just needs to gee himself up a bit, which is easier said than done, when your old and feeling like pants, if they can shift the fluid off his lungs, they can fix him.......

Little one not sure about at the mo, they were thinking of operating on him today if it hadn't sorted itself out overnight, trouble with it is, it can cause long term damage it won't necessarily, but it can and of course my cousin won't know until he can or can't reach his developmental check points

munz · 04/09/2006 09:07

ooh god the poor thing. i'll be keeping my fingers crossed for the best for you all. and hope they can shift this fluid for both of them.

Frizbe · 04/09/2006 09:10

Cheers Munz oh gaw'd dd2 just squeaked at ss and I, we looked down and she's on her knees

munz · 04/09/2006 09:12

god she's such a little developer! lol. Joey's taken to trying to move on his tummy without putting his feet/arms down and flying! lol - he can roll and crawl backwards but so date not much happening going forwards.

Frizbe · 04/09/2006 15:51

Hey she wasn't crawling Munz, just balancing on her hands and knees, she has spent the rest of the day rolling and trying out various hand and leg manouvers she's currently talking to the sky box about something? guess I'll know when she whips the card out of it!

munz · 04/09/2006 16:26

lol, ah the dogs had ours twice so we've cutt the end down so much u have to use tweezers to get it out! lol. Joey's fave thing is the remote control! lol.

tried p&t today - no one was there - after i'd plucked the the courage as well! lol. anyhow coffee morning tomorrow to try then P&T again on weds

Frizbe · 04/09/2006 21:45

Munz about the P&T group was it the army one?
No further news on cousins ds at the mo, they've done a few tests on him today and he's getting an MRI tomorrow.....so they're holding off on the shunt operation until that's completed, he's feeding well tho, so that's good.

Nemo1977 · 04/09/2006 21:48
