MeAndMyBoy · 15/05/2006 12:23

Fingers crossed for this afternoon Debbsy.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Munz glad to hear Joey is on the mend.
Nemo hope Hannah is too.

Thought I'd got a UTI but been to the doc's this morning and told no - have all the symptoms though :( so really not sure what's going on.

Cadmum · 15/05/2006 15:57

Debbsy: Thinking of you this afternoon. You must be done now... Can't wait to hear how it went.

Bella: Nearly there...

M&MB: I hope the mystery UTI goes away soon. It doesn't sound very fun.

Cadmum · 15/05/2006 16:19

I just found out that dd2 has no health insurance because of a mix up at dh's work! Shock The cute thing is that it will take 'a few weeks' to kick in! Charming... I can hardly wait to get the bills--NOT!

Frizbe · 15/05/2006 20:22

caddy have posted about that on the march thread!
M&MB hope your symptoms get better soon {{{Hugs}}}
Debsey, how's things gone?

Debbsy · 15/05/2006 20:53

Hi all sorry to keep you all waiting, but we went shopping and brought a little rabbit with babies first picture phot frame, and we have put one of the scan pics in there.Everything fine i was a bit nervous when we went in,but soon as she put the scanner on me baby popped up,so of course i burst out crying, bibby(which is our babies nickname now)rolled from one side to the other lifted its legs, then put a hand up to its face it was the most beautiful thing i have ever seen, measures 9.7cm so they have brought me a week forward to the 27th November.Feel like we are on cloud 9 and are pics are very very clear. xx Grin Grin Grin

Bella23 · 15/05/2006 21:27

Debbsy - so delighted to hear all went well ...HOORAH Grin

Cadmum · 15/05/2006 21:31

Yeah Debbsy! That is so great. I hope you are really relieved and well on the road to growing a big ol' bump!

Hello Bella!

Friz: I am at wit's end today with the whole thing!

My leg keeps falling asleep... Anyone else ever heard of something so crazy?

M&MB: I had a similar experience during my pg with DD2 and I was really worried. It happened before my uterus was palpable and I was thinking that it might be because it was trapped in my pelvis. It did pass though. (just as I dragged myself in to see the consultant actually!) Is your uterus tipped back? How are you feeling now? Don't hesitate to go to A&E if it doesn't improve. Thinking of you.

MeAndMyBoy · 16/05/2006 08:51

Debbsy so glad the scan went well - I bet you're on cloud 9, and we get to do it together on the November thread :)

Cadmum I used to get a dead leg, I'd had sicatica during my PG with DS and cause I gave birth on my side it seemed to affect that side for a while. I did see an osteopath and she helped. I hope that DH's work can get the insurance sorted out for DD2 very quickly.

I was wondering if there was a physical cause to the mystery UTI rather than an infection but have been told not this early in the pg, not sure if my uterus is tipped back or not. I'll just have to keep a eye out. Made me laugh though GP said to drink plenty and when I asked what was plenty she said about a Ltr!! I usually drink 2 and have been having more than that with the cranberry juice and lemon barley :).

Hope everyone else is well.

h x

Frizbe · 16/05/2006 09:48

Grin great stuff Debbsey, very happy for you Grin
Caddy osteopaths are great, go if it carries on, I had a painful 1st pregnancy with trapped nerves etc, went to osteopath afterwards, 2 sessions sorted me out and have been more flexiable ever since! no even a twinge of a trapped anything with dd2 Grin
M&MB hope it clears up soon {{{Hugs}}}

Frizbe · 16/05/2006 21:23

Grin fab pic Debbsy, very happy for you.

Cadmum · 16/05/2006 21:26

Thanks for the link M&MB. How are you feeling today?

Debbsy: Still can't stop smiling for you. I agree that the other thread is a keeper. Very nice comments from people who are genuinely pleased for you.

Thankfully dd2 now has health insurance again. I am in agony today with what I assume is sciatica. My left leg keeps falling asleep. Rather frustrating.

Hope you are all well. DD2 is giving us the biggest smiles and giggles today. She follows me around with her eyes unless I am holding her too.

MeAndMyBoy · 16/05/2006 22:42

I'm feeling better today Cadmum, getting cramps and stuff but not as painful as I was yesterday thank goodness. Not struggled as much today, but did last night so will see what tonight brings.
Ohhh I so sympathise with the sciatica - it can be so painful, I really hope that you can get it sorted soon.

Good news on the DD2 front for insurance, big relief I'd imagine. The smiles and giggles sound great :)

Friz - I'm not sure if you'd twigged but I used to be Harrizeb?

Right off to bed, night all.

Debbsy · 17/05/2006 07:34

how are you today meandmyboy hun?

Bella23 · 17/05/2006 14:50

Afternoon Ladies

Cad – sorry to hear you are having some pains…..poor thing, hope it has miraculously disappeared!
How are your moving plans coming along?

Well not a lot to report here, not sleeping very well this week due to frequent trips to the loo again, very annoying! I didn’t think it was possible for a person to pee this much !!

So only 2 more sleeps until my scan…..hoorah!

Frizbe · 17/05/2006 16:39

Lol M&MB I do know these things, they're just hovering around in a fuzz at the moment! dd2 has taken to waking early the past two nights, is on the grow again, so typically after posting her 'routine' on another thread, she alters it! women, lol....
Bella hope scan is good x

Cadmum · 17/05/2006 16:47

Hi all!

Friz: I had to laugh at the comment about routines changing because of course dd2 is not following last weeks pattern at all! Smile At least she remains happy!

Bella: WooHoo...Only 2 more sleeps.

I am still in my jammies and my leg is making me senile!(sp?)

Thankfully, I have done all of the 'schooling' for the day with the exception of hearing them read so I don't have to worry too much... I should consider baking or doing a science experiment but I am really exhausted so maybe not!

Nemo1977 · 17/05/2006 20:12

ok ladies despite my attempts to be positive panic is setting in tonight..think it is because of going to gp tommorow and have no idea whether to ask for an early scan or not. One of worst things to ever happen to me was my missed mc and am dreading that happening again. Only thing is that once you have early scan here they dont do it again until 20wks....plus my missed mc was at 9wks but found out at 15wks so what do I do????

OP posts:
Frizbe · 17/05/2006 21:06

Caddy {{{Hugs}}} re the leg, off to the osteo if you can find one (she says in a motherly tone)

Nemo, {{{Hugs}}} please try not to panic hon, I can only imagine what your going thru, but last time round it all went ok didn't it, so please try and console yourself with this thought....talk your fears thru with your doc, and its possible they'll offer you the two scans after all (says the ever hopeful friz)
