So my last period was the 10th of june.
I have a 30 day cycle and ovulate around day 21. I went to A&E last wednes day (18th june) with water infection. They tested my pee and it was clear.
They booked me a scan for last friday (20th june)..they did internal scan and nothing was seen in my womb or tubes i had bloods and they came back at 2483...they are saying that a sac should at least be seen when levels are at 1500. im so confused, how am i pregnant yet there is nothing there? i now have to wait for friday for a rescan. this is my fourth pregnancy

Is anyone here trying to conceive at the age of 43 naturally or through IVF?♥️

northernsunshine · 30/03/2024 12:22

@JLogefeil sorry to hear that, hope you’re ok now :( thanks for the update

northernsunshine · 30/03/2024 12:24

@Jojow21 that’s so amazing that your case turned out to be fine! That’s lovely to hear. And congrats on your little boy.

I am praying the same for me but not feeling hopeful after the doom and gloom from hospital.

This thread was older, but I saw some recent comments and it gave me some hope!!

positive test on 4/27/24…

started spotting (light and brown) on 5/6/24 with some light cramping…

went in for an early scan because I have a history of ectopic pregnancy and they saw nothing on my scan…

HCG on 5/7/24 was 700
HCG on 5/9/24 was 831
HCG on 5/10/24 was 1450

Still nothing on my ultrasound on 5/10/24 I should have been 5 weeks 5 days. I was told I have a tilted uterus which can make it harder to see on an early scan, and the doctor didn’t seem too concerned with the spotting. Cramping was light not severe, and stopped on 5/8/24, no cramping since…

I’m supposed to have more blood work done tomorrow on 5/12/24… just praying for good news on Mother’s Day!!!!

Anyone else take forever to see gestational sac on an ultrasound? I’m a nervous wreck!!!

moosey89 · 11/05/2024 21:25

@Girlmom2011 did you have an internal ultrasound? It's still early to see anything pre 6 weeks.

Girlmom2011 · 11/05/2024 21:35

They did internal on 5/7 (5 weeks 3 days)and on my belly on 5/10 (5 weeks 5 days)

neither scan showed anything.

moosey89 · 11/05/2024 21:55

At that stage I'd be amazed if anything showed abdominally - under 10 weeks is always recommended to be internal for a clearer view. Give it a week (so get to 7 weeks) and you should have a clear answer. X

I’m trying! The waiting is the worst! Of course doctors jumped straight to talking about ectopic, and trying to get me to do the methotrexate shot, but I wasn’t having any pain so I told them I’d rather wait!

Hello everyone. I know this is an old thread, I am hoping for positive news for me too. 34F, previous ectopic pregnancy.

Found out Jan 10 that I was pregnant. I have irregular cycles, ranges from 33-45 days. LMP was 30/11/24. Estimated at 6 weeks.

17/1 - Hcg 984
20/1 - Hcg 2,240, however they can’t see anything on the transvaginal ultrasound. It doesn’t help that I have fibroids so they can’t see clearly. Scheduled on 22/1 for another scan.

Praying that it would show up on the coming scan. I don’t want another ectopic pregnancy 😢
