Can I join you on this?

I'm 39+4 but am so ready for this baby to get out! :o

Today he has decided that my sciatic nerve is his new play toy. I have no idea what he is doing with it but I can hardly walk and am in so much pain.

sharklet · 18/07/2012 20:57

40 tomorrow, how do I politely ask people not to keep asking if I've popped yet? A question that is often followed up with, what nothing?

NO IM STILL BLOODY PREGNANT AND UNCOMFY

Get out baby!

sharklet · 18/07/2012 21:03

It is trying.... I keep getting berated for not just sitting at home... was out earlier and got a flea in my ear from my cousin's MIL who said I was irresponsible to drive or leave the house. I have a bored 8 yo FFS...

I've got serious cabin fever! But all my friends are too far away to just pop round, so my days are filled with daytime tv, mumsnet and clock watching!

Oh and eating crap!

sharklet · 18/07/2012 21:16

I feel like the very hungry caterpillar... I have eaten through, one tub of Ben and Jerry's Chocolate brownie, One packet of Allsorts, One pile of leftovers from last nights Thai takeaway, one Green and Blacks Maya Gold... I will not be eating one green leaf....

AllIWant85 · 18/07/2012 21:31

sharklet · 18/07/2012 21:50

I hadn't updated my FB in 3 hours and people were already posting on my wall - with loads off oooohhhhh, no news is good news type stuff. Honestly I don't even uodate every day. It is getting annoying.

I've removed access for people posting on my wall!

I posted something about my ds (18m) sleeping for 14 hours last night and all the comments were, does he know something, he obviously realises you need lots of rest!

sharklet I'm with you with sleeping on front, my hips seize if I sleep for more than an hour on either side and back is knacked if on it longer than 30 minutes!

Kazriina · 18/07/2012 22:41

Best link ever arty

strawberryswing · 19/07/2012 08:50

Im tired of the questions and texts, argh! 41+1 here :(

DangerousDorothy · 19/07/2012 09:29

Oooh I am 41+1 as well and also get people reacting in horror if I am seen out and about. To top it all off I seem to have come down with an horrendous head cold after avoiding illness all pregnancy and feel like shite.
Cheesed off doesn't really cover it.
Feel like a right moaner but I will join you in a chorus of ....GET OUT!!

Kazriina · 19/07/2012 11:51

Wake up, look down, nope, still pregnant!

Bah! Why oh why don't these babies learn how to be punctual!

However, inspired by the dr Seuss thread, I've bought " oh baby, the places you will go" your meant to read it while they're still in the womb, so I'm praying sods law will kick in and she will arrive before the book does!

So what are other people doing to while away the days?

poohbearrules · 19/07/2012 13:45

I'm 39 weeks today and finish work tomorrow. Sooo ready for this baby to come - lots and lots of tightening all over the bump (braxton hicks?) but no other signs of anything - boo!

Fortunately not on Facebook so not getting any of that. The texts are starting to come through though!

Kazriina - I'm looking forward to doing nothing to while away the days. Is that bad? Should possibly start packing the house up given an impending move - arghh - but not sure I can really be bothered!

Kazriina · 19/07/2012 19:35

How did you manage till 39 weeks pooh I finished at 29 weeks and was so glad that I did however this is clearly why my cabin fever is so bad you deserve a medal!

Anyone had any signs?

Kazriina · 19/07/2012 19:43

strikeout fail

poohbearrules · 19/07/2012 20:49

Fortunately Kazriina I work in an office, sat at a desk most of the day so not too bad. Moved the printer closer to my desk to help too! Figured longer I worked the more time I'd get after. Generally speaking I've been quite well (usual aches and pains and sickness) but nothing too bad.

Saying that tho, I am sooo ready to finish now. Hopefully won't have to wait too long for baby either - yeh right, seems they get too comfortable and don't want to come out!

Pootle78 · 19/07/2012 21:28

I've got pressure and can't stand up straight, does that count?

Had a sweep yesterday and tmi alert there is some blood and gack but it seems to be coming and going so nothing consistent, :o(

Again pooh very impressed with working til 39 weeks, I've got a desk job but couldn't wait to go at 36 weeks

Pootle78 · 19/07/2012 21:30

I really must learn my smileys :) :(

Kazriina · 19/07/2012 21:32

pootle I'd kill for blood and gackEnvy
