Congratulations kveta , Rachel and alligator, great news!.

I'm still in hospital and still baby-less but they have now made the decision to do a c-section tomorrow which is a massive relief. Finally I will get to meet my little fighter!

Nil by mouth from midnight so am currently stuffing my face with good dp sneaked in!

Will update you tomorrow. Good luck to everyone else this evening

Meant to say, massive congratulations to aligatorGrin

usedto I'm not really sore after my sweep bit I think thats cause it was 'favourable' down there.. I haven't had much of a show after it but I've been losing mucus since Sunday so don't think there's much left!

used2bthin · 13/06/2012 22:47

Thats good you aren't in pain. Ithink mine was just because of how unready I was-hopefully tomorrow won't be too bad. I have no mucous now, no pins, no BH. Baby moving around mostly at night, could be a month ago.

DairyNips · 13/06/2012 22:53

I know the feeling, been bouncing on my ball for ages now. No pains, nothing. Baby wriggling away. When will these babies realise its time to come out!!!

used2bthin · 13/06/2012 23:26

I don't know, am just giving up hoping! I am going to buy a gym ball tomorrow. Bit late but dd can use it for occupational therspy stuff after anyway.

StarlightOverJuicy · 13/06/2012 23:28

used, Ds uses my ball more than me.

DairyNips · 14/06/2012 00:34

I spent most of my labour on my gym ball last time when I was induced. Hopped on to the bed at the last minute to be examined and was pushing very soon after. I couldn't move around much due to being constantly monitored but it es good to be able to stay upright and bounce away.

Have managed to do the deed with dh to try and help things along, he was happy to oblige. Somehow I managed even though I am whale woman. Hope it does something!

blondiedollface · 14/06/2012 01:36

I am in labour, not quite regular contractions but 2cm dilated! All happened naturally today at 39+4. Unfortunately I have a sever UTI with blood, protein, nitrates and leucocytes so they have dosed me up on strong antibiotics, sent me home to try and relax through early labour and I am going to be induced at 930am if nothing much more has happened...

At least I won't need my sweep tomorrow, but induction wasn't something I particularly wanted either!

Hope some more of you have luck with sweeps/bouncing/dtd and I'll update you all tomorrow! Xx

Fishpond · 14/06/2012 04:06

Congrats blondie Smile

My c-section is in 11 days! I went for a normal checkup today and I'm 2cm dilated (no contractions or anything though, wasn't expecting it!) I'm 35+2. Anyone previously been dilated this early that didn't go into labor before 37-ish weeks?

blondiedollface · 14/06/2012 04:09

Cx now 4 mins apart lasting 30-40 seconds, so getting ready to go in now! See you all on the other side Grin

McKayz · 14/06/2012 04:14

Good luck Blondie!!!

shellywellybaby1 · 14/06/2012 05:49

Good luck Blondie!!!!

itchyfootedlady · 14/06/2012 06:06

Hey all, 38 + 2 here but already keen to evict the little itch as its so uncomfy. 5am and awake ... again... why insomnia at this stage, it just seems cruel :( its lovely to read of all the births in the last week to cheer me up though. I guess they all arrive eventually!

itchyfootedlady · 14/06/2012 06:13

Oh, and good luck to blondie and Emily!

used2bthin · 14/06/2012 06:30

I can't believe I have woken again still pregnant with no signs of labour Sad I just feel huge too and had been pleased at not having gained as much as last time-now I have.

blondie hope all goes well, sorry to hear about the UTI though.

I am going to ring and see if I can get an earlier midwife appointment as I am not sure I can wait tillhalf three and it clashes with pick up anyway.

starlight I had been meaning to get one for school to use with DD so may as well use it first! My first labour the midwife sat on one loads and I refused!

DairyNips · 14/06/2012 06:31

Morning allSmile

Had a few contractions through the night, very spaced out though and irregular. Just timed the last 5 then they've disappearedHmm

Dh and I managed to do the deed to try and get baby out last night so it was either that or the sweep that has done something. Come back contractionsSad

Good luck blondieSmile

How is everyone?

used2bthin · 14/06/2012 06:41

Oh dairy so frustrating all this stop starting. I just had one random one then nothing Sad

fwiw my night of them was after sex but I had been period painy all that day too. Hopefully yours will start up again soon.

DairyNips · 14/06/2012 06:49

I've had a couple on and off since, they're still just random though. Not convinced..

rrrayray · 14/06/2012 09:47

Good luck this morning blonde and Emily!!!

Nothing to report here, just continuing loss
Of mucus. Blush

DairyNips · 14/06/2012 09:51

Lost a bit more mucus, bouncing on my ball, slight crampyness but nothing definite happening. Boring myself with all this moaning now Hmm

rrrayray · 14/06/2012 10:11

Dairy - ditto. Feeling like the moany old
Cow! Think that annoys me is DD born at 38 weeks so was all geared up for a 38 weeker so feel sooooooo overdue!

DairyNips · 14/06/2012 10:23

It's annoying isn't it?! I know it won't matter at all once the babies are here. I know we're very lucky to be in this position. I just can't stand not knowing when it will happen and the waiting!

I just want to get the painful bit out of the way, I feel ready to deal with it and it's not happening! It's a bit like someone saying 'your driving test will be at some point in the next few weeks but we're not going to tell you when, there will be signs when it's imminent but they are hard to figure out'. It's just the constant state of being 'ready' but not knowing when..

used2bthin · 14/06/2012 12:57

Moan away I am! Just had awful sharp pains in tesco could hardly walk. Then nothing. Feel like crying. DH has come home so that he can get dd from school and I want to be nice to him but just feel so hideous and big and grumpy that I can barely speak to anyone! I agree about wanting the pain done. I keep thinking all I have to look forward is pain. I need to remember there is a baby too but its like my mind has switched off to that!

McPhee · 14/06/2012 14:09

Another one having a bad day here

So emotional, uncomfortable and thoroughly fed up with being pregnant. And I'm only 37 weeks tomorrow Blush

On the plus side, I'm seeing my consultant tomorrow, where I am planning on begging for an induction date. With all the issues I'm having he'd better bloody well say yes or I'm planning a mass sit in Grin. Also unless he agress I won't be able to have my DP there when I need him most. He lives 400 miles away at the moment and the stress between us of not knowing if he will get here in time is starting to take it's toll.

Permission to sit and sulk please.

jessebuni · 14/06/2012 14:31

I am 40 weeks and still nothing!! I've already had a sweep and was 1-2cm and having a second tomorrow. So uncomfortable and need to get this baby out before my brother leaves the country for 6 months next week!
