Or maybe it is worse this time because I am so much older?

The tiredness is appalling, I am dreading the week at work ahead. I have parents evening (three late nights) coming up and I really don't know how I am going to cope. The more tired I am the sicker I feel too. I can't concentrate on anything properly because of the sickness. I am talking crap and I forgot how to spell porridge whilst writing it on the board Blush

I have severely held it against my DH because I am too knackered and sick to go out to a friend's birthday celebration tonight (obviously it is his fault Grin).

God, I am a moaning old cow already and I am only nine weeks. Hopefully this will stop soon. and then I start complaining about the indigestion

I have a thing about iceburg lettuce too with vinegar splashed all over it!! Some days I feel great then worry that something is wrong as I feel too good then the nxt day I'll feel just awful! Todays a bad day, I feel sick, can't stop burping, I'm hungry but everything I think of to eat just turns my stomach and I'm so so tired! In fact I just wish it was the weeekend so I could crawl into a hole and sleep and wake up tues Shocknot complaining tho, its took me five years to be where I am now xx

I love this thread!

I am feeling pretty pants myself. I am 9 weeks and this is my 1st pregnancy.
I have never felt so sick, tired, emotional and greasy in my life.. I am counting down the days until the 12 weeks when I hope it gets better.
Knowing my luck though, I will feel like this the whole way through Sad

At least we can all go through this together :)

I know this is years later but this is my first pregnancy I'm just over 11 weeks and I am just SO over feeling terrible ALL the time!! You pregnant ladies from a few years ago have boosted me no end. Why did no one warn me about this??? Don't get me wrong I am really grateful and all that but this is ROUGH!

Glad to have found this thread.
I'm nearly 16 weeks and waiting for the second trimester energy boost. Had a terrible first trimester with sickness etc. I'm still exhausted to the point where I'm finding it hard to function.
An now I've got a stinking cold to add to things.
Not enjoying being pregnant at all!!! counting the days till it's all over.

humphreyCobbler the heading of this tread has got it in one - you forget how grim it is - it doesn't last forever and you will have a lovely baby at the end of it and the memory fades. I'm 35 weeks and my strongest memory is the fab 2nd trimester when I looked blooming and could still touch my toes and my hair was glossy and energy levels high...I have to think quite hard to conjure up the memory of how queasy and tired I felt in 1st trimester! I kept a journal so reading back through that reminds me of how far I've come (and how horrid it was at the beginning) and now I'm on the home stretch I can't wait to meet my baby and 1st trimester woes were 100% worth it! Smile

Haha oh yes, OP has long left this thread!! Those newbies who activated the thread though, there are good and bad days and you have to focus on the good and do the things that make you happy/make the situation bearable Chocolate
