Amandine - i took Cerys to a cranial Osteopath as had read that they can help get fluid out of the ear so must have worked! They did wonders with DS when he had colic too.

Started bleeding today. Hospital says that HCG is very low. Have to go back friday to give more bloods and get result on sunday but it doesn't look good

qazxc - sorry to hear you're bleeding. Will have my fingers crossed it's a false alarm.

Just thought I'd quickly post and say hello to anyone who remembers me. Caroline is now 3 months old; 16lb and gorgeous :)

Hello, Knitter, I can't believe that Caroline is already 3 months old! The time has flown!

Am so utterly fed up now, and still could have over 5 weeks to go. I saw the midwife on Wednesday, and the baby's head has started to engage, it was 4/5ths palpable- so at least things are moving in the right direction! My midwife is going to be away for a couple of weeks, so my next appointment isn't until 39 weeks. It feels very weird knowing that I might not make my next appointment! There was a poor woman in the waiting room on Wednesday, she spoke to the receptionist and said that her appointment wasn't for another couple of hours, but could she please speak to the midwife urgently. It turned out that she had gone to be induced due to pre-eclampsia, and as the hospital had told her to go for a walk to get things going, she'd decided to walk the mile or so to the clinic to tell the midwife that she wouldn't need her appointment!

Welcome and good luck to newcomers, hope you are ok moomin I'm excited about meeting the LO but also so nervous so really trying to be grateful for these last few days ..........

Oooh, loup, it could be any day for you now! How exciting! My lovely PIL have just been over, have bought us a lovely set of drawers for the baby, and have tidied the garden, taken net curtains away to be washed etc. MIL (is a midwife) brought her doppler along and did me a mini antenatal check- she said that baby is now about 3/5ths engaged, and she's estimated birth weight around 8lb. We'll soon see if she's right! Although this is my fourth, for some reason I feel more nervous this time!

Oooo jealous moomin wish your MIL could come here!! Baby seems to have dropped but I'm feeling prods all over the place so hoping it hasn't 'unengaged' . So weird not knowing when baby will come, I'm fine so long as I don't have to be induced.....,,

Hello ladies, it's been a long time since I posted on here but I just wanted to drop in to share the news that we had a gorgeous baby girl, Phoebe, on 16th June - she weighed in at a whopping 11lb 6oz! (absolutely no idea how that happened nor how I managed to deliver her naturally!) We are all absolutely smitten with her, esp DD1 who was desperate for a baby sister. After a mc, a chemical pg then a termination for a lethal neural condition it has been a long journey that we never anticipated but she has so been worth the wait.

It's so lovely to see all these babies arriving especially Dachs Knitter, Digi, Lady and Mouse - I feel like we all went through a lot together and these threads really kept me sane and provided incredible support at some really difficult times.

Thank you to all of you that have shared this journey with me and good luck to all of those still travelling xx

Hi all checking in v quickly during a quiet moment! Our baby girl arrived last Sunday 9th at 40+8 following induction! Long labour followed by c section but I am now the proud owner of a darling healthy little bundle!!

Congratulations loup! Really happy for you. What's her name? How much did she weigh?
I'm very fed up with being pregnant now, but can't go into labour tonight. DH has gone to his brother's for drinks, and is staying there until the morning. I'm hoping to actually get a good night's sleep for once as I can have the bed to myself and my huge bump! Will be having a sweep on Wednesday if baby hasn't arrived by then.

Good luck for the sweep moomin

Elodie is nearly 6 weeks old now (where did that time go?!) and we're getting smiles. She's eating for Wales and has jumped up a centile , despite the GP telling me she's feeding too often so the 2 hourly feeds are doing their job . I don't agree with her thinking that 3am is playtime though

Hello amandine, that six weeks has gone fast! I'm glad that elodie is doing well. Hopefully she'll drop the 6am playtime soon!

Well, it's my due date, and not sign of baby. The sweep did nothing except for a bit of a show, it didn't even trigger any braxton hicks! Having another next week.

Hi i am 23yrs old and i had a mc 2months ago at 8weeks, but am happy to say that i am now 4+3 pregnant now but very nervous bt excited

Lola Caitlin was born at 3.37am, weighing 8lb 1.5oz. Was a bit traumatic, as her head was deflexed, pressing on my pubic bone, I was in agony and she started to get a bit destressed. Transferred in from home, just managed to avoid instrumental delivery by me pushing at 9cm, and the midwife with her hand inside rotating her head! It all ended well though.

Just popping in to say congratutions moomin! I am 40+6 and very ready for baby to arrive. Booked for induction next Tuesday and very much hoping that things will happen naturally before then, but I'm having very few twinges etc so not feeling that positive about it unfortunately. But physically I'm fine (save having newly acquired carpal tunnel - sure not fair to get new symptoms AFTER my due date?!) so mustn't grumble. Good luck to everyone with pregnancies and new babies!
