lara aghh I hate that MN keeps swallowing your posts. I find I log in, type a reply and press post and its taken me so long that it logs me back out!!! Never used to do that and HUGELY annoying!

lara I got my pram from a small local baby shop ? but affiliated to a larger independent home furnishing store. I think the prices in there were standard and very much comparable to JL, but they had an offer on so we got a free maxi cosi car seat and I joined their baby club which also gets me £50 any purchases when I collect the pram (and we still need but footmuff etc) and free afternoon tea in their cafe! YAY! I did look online but very few places have competitive offers, especially not when you take into account the free car seat. I think in all we could have got it £40 cheaper, but for that I?d rather have bought it from a store I can go back to (with a good local reputation) and good returns policy. Having said that, without the car seat offer the savings might have been more like £150+ but I still think buying from a reputable store is worth it though.

Thankfully the whole pram buying experiences wasn?t as painful as anticipated as we only paid a deposit!

Izzy I looked at the Oyster and think its very practical. In fact, it was DH?s preferred model. Its really easy to manoeuvre and has a good turning circle and is the easiest pram to put up and down that I?ve come across. But what I didn?t like about it was it felt a bit flimsy (and my friend who has one says it is a bit) and I am not that keen on it atheistically. Its also quite a reasonable price. Haven?t tried the Icandy Cheery but did like the Peach. Very good quality.

orange well done on the bag packing and for feeling relaxed about it. That is definitely one thing I can?t imagine being prepared for!

Yay for mamap and pink meet up. How lovely.

cep sorry bump is still quiet. Are you ?counting the kicks?? Do you feel like you get 9 a day? (Is that the right amount?) Pup is definitely quieter in the days, and some days I don?t feel much either. I think if your feeling movement at night things are probably ok, maybe that?s just its pattern? But if you?re worried see your mw. A Doppler fix is never a bad thing!

Ps VERY impressed by your homemade blinds!!! No, will please everyone stop being housewife/mother goddesses as I am starting to get a complex that I am a useless, talentless whale.

daisy glad you are feeling a bit better and managing some food. Now, WHY do you need pushchair details? Don?t you already have 3????

harassed haha, that does look suspiciously like a bugaboo. Good price too! I was reading a post in products the other day and a poor lady had bought a cameleon off ebay in what she thought was a great deal. Turned out if was a fake. So not such a good deal. How?s things with you? Have you settled into your new place nicely?

minnie how are you today? Did you ask about movement ? sorry I think I missed it but saw someone else?s reply. I think the little flutters I thought I could feel started to feel little stronger at 17wks and I?d say but 18-19wks I was definitely sure I could feel the baby. DH even caught the odd kick at 19wks too ? if we concentrated really hard. I was mesmerised the other day watching my belly bounce!!

yrmotb how are you? Thanks for updating the stats, but what about you? We want to know how you are?

Hello to LivinInTheMoment and Katherine - sorry I missed you both last time.

Special waves to nix and owl - whooo 38wks!

Think I?ve decided to change our NCT classes. I know the Nov dates gives us 2 weeks, but if pup makes an early appearance we?ll miss out, and I think I really need DH to hear from someone other than my mw our homebirth options, as he?s completely anti it at the moment, for no reason other than ignorance and fear. I don?t know if its what I want, but because of this attitude (perpetuated by MIL and SIL) a conversation about it is impossible.

Ohh, and I booked a 4D scan for us today for 31st August. DH is mega exited!

LaraandLittleBean · 25/07/2011 14:30

The logging out thing is driving me MAD.... I am now going to type my posts on Outlook and then cut and paste them across...

Collie - thanks for buggy shopping info - I think we will go to JL. I normally hunt around on line for everything imaginable but I can see it being a headache if something goes wrong with the buggy and I need to return it / parts of it. Your local shop's promotion sounds fab - well done on the car seat. We too are getting a Maxi Cosi car seat. I am debating whether I actually "need" a cupholder (of course I bloody don't but I WANT one!)

Good move on changing the NCT classes - you wouldn't want to be stressing nearer the time. Mine start insanely early - Aug but they go on for eight weeks (yawn).

I am also a talentless whale - I can't make anything.. I am also forgetting EVERYTHING (pregnancy brain) but now if ever I accidentally don't hear something or see something, DH says "do you have pregnancy ears / eyes too?" A**ehole...

We have also got an idea as to how we would like to decorate the nursery... Anyone bought and Lambs and Ivy stuff? I love this range and think I will order it: www.preciouslittleone.com/product-information/7/16976/lambs-and-ivy-little-jungle-6-piece-luxury-cotcot-bed-bedding-set/.

Cep - hope you're not worrying about movement. Mine are so erratic and so low down that I can't ever be sure they are kicks. The definitely feel stronger than last week and he keeps giving me a powwow in the bladder. All my kicks feel low down in the centre of my body; not had any on my belly wall.

Daisy - you definitely have a buggy addition... I thought you had 4?? Where are you going to store them all?

WiW - are you back in Dubai yet? Did you have a big M&Ps shop? We have succombed to buying quite a lot of few baby grows - I think I am addicted. Now we know we're having a little boy, DH has taken an incredible interest in baby's wardrobe... Makes me wonder if he'd be even half as interested in buying clothes for a baby girl. WIW - did you buy a changing bag? After dismissing the Pacapods the other day, DH (yes, DH) is now a lover of them and wants to buy me one. Woo hoo....

My belly is growing by the day - anyone else at my sort of stage finding that too? Someone else offered me their seat this morning at the station and at a restaurant yesterday the maitre d' said I could use the disabled loo instead of traipsing to the ladies downstairs. Am milking my pregnant status as much as I possibly can.

Daisybell1 · 25/07/2011 15:21

Yes, I have 4 Blush And the reason I NEED the details is because I am already an addict, and if I can't justify anymore myself, then I can at least revel in everyone else's purchases Grin

Youremindmeofthebean · 25/07/2011 15:45

Alright collie thanks. Got 16 week check tomorrow, hoping for the first doppler fix, want a referral for the intermittent (so far) PGP I seem to be getting, recovering from a cold, blah blah blah. I did go shopping for ds's new school uniform the other day. in equal proportions.

I am jealous of all your pushchair talk. I think I will get away with a new sling, but that will be it! Keep it up, I am living covetously, if that's even a word.

PinkFondantFancy · 25/07/2011 18:26

collie I've definitely got more hair growing-have got a hairy tummy now too.... Blush Whether or not a wax hurts seems to depend entirely on the skill of the beautician and sadly theres no way of knowing how much she's going to torture you until it's too late....

Meeting up with mamap was fab!! The weather was lovely too so had a really nice lazy lunch in the sun. Was very funny to compare our identical bumps Grin

orange we've now got a fab boy's name but I think DH might be going off the girl's name.... He definitely doesn't like the middle name I was keen on anyway so more work needed there I think.

CEP v impressed you've made homemade blinds!

harrassed I get a pain in my right shoulder blade most days, is v odd! The bug-a-like sounds bargainous!!

tigger owly and nix how are you enjoying your maternity leave?

I am absolutely shattered-my body seems to have given up on the idea of sleeping at nighttime which would be fine except I still need to function during the day!! I have also been having serious attacks of the 3am munchies Grin

CollieandPup · 25/07/2011 19:39

lara the lamb and ivy set is V cute! No idea what it's like though. I bought this set from M&P, but only the bedding and light shade. Think we'll keep the decor quite neutral and less 'baby like' iykwim

I too find the rate of bump growth alarming! I seem to get to each weekend and it pops out even further! I love it now though. There's no disguising it's a bump and not too
many pies!! Well and least not just too many pies! Grin i've gained a stone now though, which I was quite Shock about! Although I don't know why, as I look like I've gained at least that much!!! Smile

Grin @ daisy's pram addiction! Although I do enjoy pram talk too!! Think I've shared my details already, but we've opted for the bugaboo cameleon- brown base, sand top! I quite liked the orange, but there is a v good chance this baby is going to have a Ginger mop so that would just be tooooo cruel!!! Grin

yrmotb glad youre ok although boo to beginings of PGP!! Eek at uniform buying too!! But I bet he looked sooooo cute!! Good luck tomorrow for mw apt! Just push her until she caves! Surely it's easier to just do it that to argue?!

pink between 3 and 4am is my wake up time too. Didn't get back to sleep until gone 5.30 this morning and the alarm went off at 6.45!! Boo!!! I find pup is super active in the middle of the night too which makes getting back off harder!

cep and others. I'm sure you've seen the count the kicks thread on the pg board but I've just been on their site and it's very good- is anyone using their monitoring forms? Under advice, you can click of the facts, which covers symptoms, and monitoring movement for the forms and tips. see here

Right, I best go and make myself useful. Dh has been tiling the bathroom since I got home and I've been lying on the bed doing diddly squat posting to you guys!

Ps northern ladies, there is a thread to arrange the northern meet up. If you've not been included but want to be, pm me x

bigmacandhappymeal · 25/07/2011 20:09

Evening all, hope you are all well? All is well in the house of Bigmac after a shite hectic couple of weeks at work - i'm now on a week's holiday which is fantastic.

I've been reading through the last couple of pages and have only just lost my flick-eye at the thought of waxing at the moment. TMI alert - i had to stop having them a couple of years ago due to ingrowing hair problems (geesh) and now can't decide what is worse - risking that again or my c.1972 Mayfair magazine fanjo... I too am suffering from the accelerated hair growth :) May consider a trimmer though...

Dachs we haven't really met since I joined this thread, but just wanted to say that I too have everything crossed for you.

Lara I have also had a bit of a spurt in the last couple of days after fretting on Friday that it seemed the same. And I'm also getting the dull kicks right in the centre of my body.

I'm starting to think about prams - an hilarious House of bigmac moment last week when MrBM saw that you could spend £900 on them. I think that this may be a bone of contention in the near future - very interested to see the link to that beebop stroller though. Looks great.

collie I haven't dared weigh myself in the last 4 months recently, I was a size 14-16 pre-PG so fear that my Magnum/Crunchie Blast addiction/ devil-may-care attitude to noshing may have started something awful.

I have a sister with a learning disability who is staying with me this week - only told her after the 20 week scan as she struggles to cope with some things (like if we'd told her I was PG and then something awful happened) and would keep asking questions. Anyway, she has been hilarious about the whole PG thing - obsessed with being an auntie and the birthing process. We were in town today looking at whale maternity clothes in new look when she loudly declared that it is might hurt a bit when the baby comes out of my fanny and will MrBM be there looking up it to see if he can see the head. Brilliant. Grin I turned to see a frozen shop assistant who must have been all of 17.

A monster post - hello to everyone I haven't mentioned here. Back rubs for everyone.

cep · 26/07/2011 07:43

lara it's lovely.

collie thanks for that link, am very ignorant about it really. will be checking out the page.

Blackkat · 26/07/2011 09:17

Hello everyone, sorry for being so quiet, I'm really busy at home and work and super tired, and I thought this was supposed to be the blooming bit.

Lara hooray for team blue, what lovely news.

Collie thanks for doing all the meet up organising have visited t'other thread already.

cep hope all ok with you and minicep boots you soon! Grin

Daisy pleased to hear that you are feeling better

Minnie, Harassed so nice to see you over here

Dachs I have everything crossed for you, hope you get all the support and rest you need, are you back at work yet?

owl, nix how are you doing? I saw a friend at the weekend who is due next week and I thought of you both Smile

The waxing talk makes me chuckle; I've a friend who had a specific pre-birth wax so she looked all neat for the delivery team. Seemed a little excessive to me tbh, and to top it all she ended up with a C-section. I'm not intending to follow that route! Though I do agree I've more hair than ever, my tummy looks it has an arrow pointing down on it and the hair on my head is growing faster and thicker than ever before.

Very impressed by all the purchasing that is going on with buggies and cots etc. I don't think I'm quite ready yet. Grin at Daisy's pram habit.

However, being public now (I've finally started to tell people bcs at 21 months it was glaringly obvious) I've started to receive loads of bags of fat bastard clothes and lots of offers of baby things. Got a Moses basket at the weekend from a friend and now seem to spend all day moving it around the house to escape the clutches of the cat who thinks we've bought him a new and much improved basket.

Anyone else sorting out their mat cover? My boss is going to start advertising for mine next week, which seems a bit scary. I think he wants me to help him interview too, which will seem very odd.

Scan this afternoon, which I'm nervous about, it is DD1 today, so I'm dreading more bad news. Despite being kicked every evening and morning, and DH asking me what the wet patch on my boob was this am Blush I still don't feel quite ready to believe this is happening.

to everyone else, hot buttered toast all round

saltyair · 26/07/2011 09:25

Hello Sorry to crash into an old and established thread (used to be a regular on MN but not been around for a looooonnnnngggg while), but just wanted to shamelessly use your experience!

I have had 2 m/c - the most recet almost exactly a year ago, and I have just got a BFP! Needlessto say I am over the moon, but also freaking terrified it will go the way of the last 2.

My questions are : Is there anything I should be doing to 'protect' myself from m/c and should I be requesting an early scan at my EPU?

Thank you muchly.

harassedandherbug · 26/07/2011 09:32

Morning!

Firstly Blackkat good luck for today lovely, I'm sure everything will be just fine. Look how far along you are! Wet patches are a good sign, although you might want to invest in some breast pads Grin.

lara that range is gorgeous! Is still have dd's cot set though that hardly got used.......

bigmac had to giggle at what your sister said. Moments like that are priceless, she sounds just lovely and prob as excited as you!

collie yes I saw the post about the fake bugs! Who would have thought of fake buggies?! Otherwise I'm fine but falling apart at the seams (see below!) and just about settled in the house now. Got a few boxes still to go, but mainly dd's old clothes, and as scan is next week I'm going to wait until we know the flavour.

Pink sorry you're struggling to sleep, and me too! I swear I only manage to a decent deep sleep for 30 mins before the alarm goes Hmm. And how strange about our achey shoulders, mine is there again today.

cep how are things with you lovely? We should organise our own I think, otherwise we'll be left out!

owl & nix any news?

My friend is have a cs on Thursday and she's also gone for a waxing! Mad Grin.

Other news: it's official, I'm falling apart!!! I have the start of spd, and also the mw things, carpal tunnel. Had both with dd but not this flaming early!!! I can take it easy to minimise the spd, but spend most of my working time on the pc which isn't ideal with the carpal tunnel. Got a referral to the physio, she checked my swollen feet, legs & hands and thinks it's just one of those things and listened to the hb again. My birthing centre are fab! I phoned at 4pm for a chat and said to pop up, they're only 5 mins down the road. They're now closed for births (gutted!) but hopefully I can have a home birth.

We had kids playing knock down ginger last night. Not a good move given that dh is mega fit as he's an am boxer and is training twice a day for a fight next month! They got away with it once, but the second time he was out the door like lightning. Dd (5!) is now wandering around muttering about smashing your teeth in.......... Hmm. Don't think the kids will be back though!

LaraandLittleBean · 26/07/2011 09:34

Missed you Blackkat - feels like ages!

Now you will have me freaking out that I don't have any wet patches on my boobs... Oh dear.... I keep doing cough wees though... (pretty self explanatory - I cough and a few drops of wee come out). DH wasn't very impressed when it happened as I was sitting on the bed last night... Oops.

I also have a very hairy tum... Not suite sure what to do with it...

Loving the sand colour, Collie. We're going for dark khaki. Orange would look lovely, especially if your little one has ginger hair. Also great choice re. the M&P's bedding. Decorating the nursery is the most exciting thing in my life at the moment and I can't wait to start. We have decided to take the risk and bring forward the delivery of the furniture by a month so that we have more time to decorate. Am trying not to be panicky and superstitious and just enjoy the whole process.

Bigmac - good to hear you've got a week off. Enjoy - weather here is great so hope you get lots of sun time.

Pink - hope you make the most of weekend time to get some well deserved naps. My nighttime sleep is also appalling and you're much further along than me!

Re. maternity cover, my company has recruited someone already! I have my meeting with HR on Friday when I plan to hit them with the fact that I'd like to take three weeks hol at the start, a year's maternity leave, then all my 2012 holiday allowance at once at the end and of course not forgetting public hols. It only works out that way due to Baby's November due date. I think that if I finish work mid to end of October-ish, I can be off until Jan 2013. Anyone else doing the same thing?

Right better start doing carry on with some work.

Blackkat · 26/07/2011 09:50

lara, Harassed DH thinks it's leaky boobs, I can't be so sure whether I didn't spit toothpaste down myself last night? Blush!!

Harassed your birth centre sounds lovely, so sorry to hear that you're still not feeling so well.

salty Congratulations on the BFP. All you can do to protect yourself is take it easy and try not to stress if you can (easy advice, hard to follow). Keep up the folic acid and maybe start some multi-vits if you're not already rattling round with them. It depends on where you live (we've found) how you can get access to an early scan. Some GP's will refer, other places it's midwives who refer. Alternatively, and some of us here did, you can pay for an early scan. And if you can afford it, at least you will be seen somewhere where they are only doing early scans and not 12 or 20 week ones so it should be a better and more pleasurable (if that's possible) experience.
We've pretty much all graduated from a thread on the conception pages, the freak out room, where we all spent pretty much from 4 - 20 weeks. There are lots of other ladies there in the same position as you. But if you'd rather stay here, then please make yourself comfy. Here's to a very boring 8 months to you.

Blackkat · 26/07/2011 09:53

Lara your company are quick off the mark! I'm planning to finish when the clocks go back (no grim early morning starts) take 3 weeks leave then start mat leave end Nov. Take the full year and then a couple of weeks at the end and head back the week before Christmas next year, so as to get BH's! Do we really get BH added to mat leave... need to find out more. Would take more leave at the end but our AL year runs April 30 - April 30 how bizarre.

CollieandPup · 26/07/2011 09:58

Quick post for salty so sorry for your losses but yay for your recent bfp.

Tbh I don't think there is much you can do to 'protect' yourself from mc unless you know that there was a specific problem that you want to manage. Do you know of any issues? I know some of the ladies on here have taken particular drugs (sorry I can't remember what or why ) early on so maybe they can advise.

Just take it one day at a time. It's very scary and if your anything like us you'll freak out about lack of symptoms, then about your symptoms and anything else you can think of Grin

There is a very lovely thread on the conception board called the freak out room. It's where most of us went after getting our bfp's, before finding the courage to move onto here. You are of course more than welcome to join us on here, but take a look at that thread too, it's full of lots of ladies with very recent bfp's after mc, in your situation.
see here

Best of luck xx

Blackkat toothpaste wouldn't stay damp for very long lovely. It's another good sign imo Grin. Apart from falling to bits and the very odd sicky day (thank goodness that's all but over!) I feel fine, that's the annoying bit! Obviously I notice if I've got swollen feet or my pelvis is a bit sore, but it's an annoyance more than anything else.

With regards to ML, my boss appears to be doing a good impression of an ostrich!!! Not a mention of it! I've a nasty feeling that he's expecting everyone else to pick up my work Hmm.

Salty congratulations!! Epu's vary, but mine offered a reassurance scan at 8 weeks if you've had two consecutive mc's. I also had one at 6 weeks as my symptoms vanished. But they def seem to be one of the better ones! I'm taking low dose aspirin after doing my own research, but my gp knows this. This was the last try for us, after mmc in Jan & mc in March, so I've kinda thrown everything I can at it! Oh I also take vit b6 p5p, but I go to a kinesiologist for this and take a much increased dose than the generally recommended amount. The freak out thread is fab, and there are some new ladies who around the same time as you on there at the moment which you might find useful.

wombatinwaiting · 26/07/2011 11:28

Hi ladies! Back in the sandpit and at work so finally have some time to catch up on you all Grin

Firstly, good luck for your scan blackkat? Hope it all goes fabulously. However, you might just want to warn the sonographer that you think you're 21 months pg Grin - let's blame Brian on that one!

Sounds like a lovely meet-up pink and mamap - would love to do some more bump comparisons - one of the girls here asked me today in the loos if I was pregnant - yes, 5 months - her face Shock - she thought I was 2-3 months - my face Shock and cue a bit of anxiety about small bump.... I do know bean is a good size so not worrying too much.

Welcome salty and congrats. As others have said, the freak out room is great but you're very welcome to stay amongst us whales more advanced ladies.

So glad that your trip went so well dachs and everything is crossed here for your next cycle of IVF.

Loving reading all your long posts collie and lara - I always copy mine before hitting post as there's nothing likely to get a wombat crosser than losing one you've spent time on! Your company is terribly efficient lara getting someone in already! Good going on the pram shopping collie - what a fab deal.

Am jealous of your home-birth talk - my midwife friend can't rate them highly enough - but they're illegal here Shock so if nothing else, it actually takes away one choice from all the choices we have to make over the coming months!

Good to hear from you harassed but sorry to read about all your ailments - why do the celebs never seem to suffer from all of these?! It must be a big cover-up....

Sorry that you're still feeling anxious cep - no chance of hiring/buying a doppler is there? Sending hugs.

Great story re: your sis bigmac - would have loved to have seen the shop assistant's face Grin

All is well here although feeling a bit Sad about being back - it was so wonderful to share the news with my oldest friends who know me so much better than anyone here and who I would dearly love to have around me during this time of great change. Good job I have you lovely ladies to keep me sane Grin. I'm also taking a while to get used to the new villa - just not feeling like it's home yet although to be fair, I've barely slept in there a week so not surprising really.....

Waves to all and leaves many Haribo tangfastics - you should never have mentioned them - I had at least 2 packets while I was back in the UK! Shock Grin

LaraandLittleBean · 26/07/2011 11:40

Heyyy WIW!!! Welcome back!

Yes, they are efficient but it also makes me panic and think, what the hell happens if I lose this pregnancy and my replacement is already lined up...

Anyone else getting told off for buying stuff "too early"? My mother is annoyingly superstitious and told me not to contemplate buying anything for at least another 6 weeks. Firstly, it's not her damned business, secondly, it's my choice if I decide to transfer my panic / worry into positive energy and thirdly, this is my first baby and I'd like to spend time enjoying the experience while I am strong, healthy and have energy.

She is also driving me mad by discussing with my sister (behind my back) the concerns they have that we have two dogs (shar pei) and how they will behave around the baby. WTF. Do they not think we've considered that? People all over the world every day have babies and already have dogs in the house. We have looked into what we need to do in order to get the dogs used to baby. Yes, you do hear occasionally about awful things happening but there is normally far more to it - we're not going to throw baby to the lions so to speak.

Rant over....

harassedandherbug · 26/07/2011 11:44

Wiw just posted on the other thread Grin!

Lara my mum told me the other day that she would be buying something for this baby, but when she knew it wouldn't die like the last two . In her defence she was very ill with two brain aneurysm's last year, and the brain surgery and/or age has def changed her and not for the better Sad.

cep · 26/07/2011 14:28

harassed will definately have to try and meet up. remind me where you are i remember you weren't too far but can't remember where. sorry.

lara we have a very manic jack russell who does nothing but bark at everything and everyone, and she runs from ds when he's trying to wind her up, they are as bad as each other she pesters him while he's trying to play and he pesters her while she's trying to sleep, but she has never hurt him.

wiw glad you're back ok. you bet me too it i was going to ask blackkat if she was an elephant.

blackkat good luck with scan.

i've been feeling moves just probably not as many as i would expect. but as long as i'm feeling something i don't mind.

LaraandLittleBean · 26/07/2011 15:19

My boy dog will be absolutely fine as he is a gentle soul with a heart of gold and he is used to (and is quite happy) being at the bottom of the pecking order. Between them both, it is the girl dog I am most concerned about as she is the leader of their pack and won't think twice to growl (or snap at) the boy dog to keep him in line. She just needs to realise her place when baby arrives. They're not used to children so I will be focused on doing all I can to ensure a smooth transition. She growled once at a friend's two year old who went over to her basket and was trying to erm, poke her in the eye. I need to just ensure that they're not left unsupervised. When other, more dominant dogs have come over, my girl dog has been quite happy to follow so I believe she just needs to feel that the baby is the new leader of the pack and I need to make sure I don't make them jealous or resentful. Thankfully they're very disciplined and don't go upstairs / jump of the sofa and they listen to commands so it will just be something else to get used to (I hope).

harassedandherbug · 26/07/2011 15:41

Cep I'm in Andover.

Lara we had a cocker spaniel when dd was and I was terrified how he'd be with her as I'd got him when the boys were older so he wasn't used to young children. He also had a thing about strange men, and men in hats even if he knew them well. But he was just fine!! She crawled early (walked at 10mths ) and of course he had these lovely long ears........but he let her do exactly what she wanted and followed her around like a shadow. She just adored him! Unfortunately he got very ill and had to be pts 2.5 years ago, but she still talks about him practically every day. I'm sure yours will be fine too Grin.

LaraandLittleBean · 26/07/2011 16:38

Thanks Harassed and Cep - I really appreciate it... Dogs are also much more intelligent than we give them credit for. I know my two know I am pg - they haven't jumped on me since I became pregnant and must sense a difference.

I am quite envious of the meet-ups - anyone in London fancy a meet-up?
