Jasper? Sorry if it's already been mentioned.

dadcanbmum2 · 31/10/2005 14:17

My friends called one of their boys Jotham. He's a lovely lad - now 28-ish. AFAIK he never had a grief because of it.

JanH · 31/10/2005 22:01

Look at this Kai - how lovely!

MamaMaiasaura · 31/10/2005 22:05

My cousin is called Alexander and he has always been Lex which I think sounds quite cool.

Ds's name is very traditional and has been mentioned on here. Trouble is, it's the only boys name we both liked so we're stuck if we have another one.

Agree about the Js - all of ds' friends at school begin with J - Joe, Joseph, James, Jack. I'm waiting for him to come home and ask if Jehovah or Jehoshophat can come to tea.

What about some traditional names that have gone out of favour - I really like Abraham (Abie for short), Solomon etc.

homemama · 07/11/2005 19:27

Have you decided yet, Munz?

knakered · 26/11/2005 11:18

Jeremiah - trad & strong? Enzo? Gilbert (pronounced Jill..bear)

munz · 26/11/2005 19:02

so far the only one we're agreeing with is Jake - so we're 'test driving' it! lol - refering to him as Jake - suppose it's better than beanie! it's fittin for now, but it's not set in stone.

thanks again for the help.

Does anyone like Dylan for a boy?

zebratwizzler · 26/11/2005 21:54

Raymond : I desperately wanted that for DS2 but DH wouldn't hear of it (actually, I seem to the only person in the world who likes it!).
