My ds is called Isaac and I thought I was being really individual. well, he's now 5 and Isaac is now really common round my way. Humph.

Tinker · 28/10/2005 19:23

Our gerbil was called Wilf. He had babies with his daughters.

munz - Bo was also one of our choices!

Nightynight · 28/10/2005 19:26

fmf - the number of times Ive taken a decision that I thought was really individual, only to realise later that my ideas are the ideas of a generation...

fullmoonfiend · 28/10/2005 19:48

I know Nightynight, you're right. But please can I think of myself as a trendsetter??

Nightynight · 28/10/2005 19:52

I love Felix but getting VERY common round here too. By common I mean popular, not, you know...

JenumGeranium · 28/10/2005 20:09

just read through this thread and am a little bit worried - my DS2 is called Kai! Is this a naughty boys name then? He is not a naughty boy at all! (well not yet!)

My DS1 is called Zack (not Zachary or Zak)

I liked these names as they were unusual, but not OTT. If I was to have another boy I would struggle with a name to go with these (although I do like Jacob!)

aloha · 28/10/2005 20:10

I like Keir actually.
Keith is unusual these days!

JenumGeranium · 28/10/2005 20:12

Oooh I like Kier too and Kian but obviously too close to Kai!

I also like the name Skye for a girl but couldnt have that now either! Kai and Skye!

JenumGeranium · 28/10/2005 20:12

Not too fond of the name Keith it has to be said!

fairyfly · 28/10/2005 20:13

Bert

JenumGeranium · 28/10/2005 20:15

yeah Berts cool - when they are naughty you could call them Bertram or something .

startingtobehalloweenylover · 28/10/2005 20:20

JenumGeranium · 28/10/2005 20:20

startingtobehalloweenylover · 28/10/2005 20:22

JenumGeranium · 28/10/2005 20:28

Awwwww!

JenumGeranium · 28/10/2005 20:28

That is an idea I will store away in case I ever have another boy!

Do you get people not knowing how to pronounce it? He sometimes gets called Kay! which is in fact my nieces name who was born on the same day!
