DH liked Tancred when we were expecting, good solid Anglo-Saxon name. I thought the child would end up being called Tankard, so ruled that one out.

I like Oisin, even though the story is a bit sad, like many Celtic tales.

For a girl, we've chosen Roisin Louise.

ninah · 28/10/2005 12:16

how do you pronounce that expat? I like it too but never sure how

expatinscotland · 28/10/2005 12:17

Osh-een.

Zephyrrywitchescat · 28/10/2005 12:17

We are also looking at celtic names as my half of the family is scottish, but also am very keen on Isaac or zac/zak and reuben.

Names are sooo hard!! I get the final say on this one though as dp did on the last two (Although he said no to my Cameron for being too scottish, then called him Finlay! Good one dp )

Enid · 28/10/2005 12:19

ninah · 28/10/2005 12:21
